saturday, last friday, only in the mid 50's, and now back to the 60s, as the humidity rises we'll start to feel it through the course of the week. so today still in the moderate to comfortable range, to tomorrow down right humid. by wednesday that's when the humidity really kicks in and we will be feeling down right oppressive. today 70 at more humid this afternoon, 78 at noon, then 84, pleasant afternoon, mix every sunday and with bob kelly. >> i like the moderate to coffee range there. >> yes. >> starting off this morning. good morning, moderate to comfy right here along 202-6789 we got the cones down, this is an overnight project that is still with us, it is northbound lanes of route 202. as you head of prussia, they have the right lanes all taken out, and then right, there where the cone breaks, so you can head into the schuylkill expressway. so if you are leaving, say, malvern, west chester, headed north at this early hour, watch out for the construction zones. right where the cones break, you can access the schuylkill expressway. to i-95, live look right near girard avenue.

construction zone is tight. i went through her yesterday with no shoulder. you can definately squeeze come into play here as you work down toward girard avenue. otherwise good shape along 422 coming from royersford, collegeville, into king of prussia, no problems on the schuylkill at the moment. in new jersey though we do have an accident, southbound, on the 42 freeway, right at route 544. again, it is southbound, anyone coming back from the shore this morning, you will have no problem at all from the beach into the city. ukee, erika, back to you. >> tragic ends to go what philadelphia police are calling a family dispute. >> a paraplegic mack shoots and kills his brother. he claims he pulled the trigger to protect his sister. joining us now from police headquarters with more on the

morning. >> reporter: good morning, erika, ukee, this investigation is ongoing. no arrests at this point. in the meantime there is family is trying to figure out what went so wrong so fast this weekend. police say one man, a paraplegic, shoots and kills his very own brother, claiming in self-defense. now, take a look at this picture, victim, john matthews, 40 years old, police say he was shot early sunday morning, around 4:00 a.m. in the 5800 block he doesn't know exactly

what happened. he was upstairs sleeping with his children when all of the commotion unfolded. meanwhile, police believe that this dispute started with some sort of family issue, again, this investigation is ongoing. no arrests at this point. reporting live outside the police headquarters, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> thank you, jan. >> rescue workers locate another 21 bodies near the downed airlines flight. >> rebels who control the area are removing bodies. pro russian militants moved nearly 200 bodies into refrigerated train cars toward rebel held city mondayment investigators only allowed brief inspection, now russian president putin lashing out at claimant innings blaming his country's ties to rebels in ukraine. >> however, no one should have the right to use this tragedy to achieve selfish political objectives it, should unite people. >> russia continues to deny any involvement, and blames ukraine's military.

un secretary council is scheduled to vote today on a resolution demanding those responsible are held accountable. >> we have new video, this is just in from north philadelphia. where police are investigating an overnight shooting. authorities tell cbs-3, a man was shot in the leg at ninth and low high avenue around 2:00 a.m. he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. investigators say, three men were seen running away from that scene. happening today, disgraced former philadelphia police officer, richard decoatsworth, heads back to court. decoatsworth pleaded guilty to assault, prostitution, and drug charges in february. then he had a change of heart, saying he wants to proof his innocence. now, he's in the process every retaining a new lawyer, decoatsworth was once considered a hero after being shot in the face while chasing a suspect. he is set to go to trial in nef. police are investigating the discovery after body in pennypack creek early sunday morning, a man was found

floating in the waters near rhawn street and quaker avenue. officials are now trying to determine the man's identity, and whether his death was an accident or a crime. things will be a little different for some fans when they head to the ballpark to see the phillies take on the giants. l phillies are taking part in mandated metal detector program, part every major league baseball partnering with the department of homeland security, only fans entering through the right field gate will be screened. but by the start of 2015, all parks will be required to screen every fan that enters the game. well, huge turn out for fundraiser help a child suffering from a rare disease. >> it is a disease causing him to go deaf and blind. "eyewitness news", at the flying w airport, in medford, new jersey. it was the second annual help henry see and hear fundraiser. six year old henry north on suffers from usher syndrome. he was born deaf and is rapidly losing his vision. captain mero america, some american ninja warriors, and

of the year in philadelphia, but certainly not over the past few days, temperatures have been averaging below normal since last thursday. let's take a look outside right now. storm scan3 looking fine, no problems out, there we do have some clouds off to the south, couple of showers move in through portions of southern virginia, most should stay south of us it, will start to steam up little bit today. feel the difference in humidity when you step outside this afternoon, not quite as pleasant, but still pretty comfortable. can't complain about it. 64 degrees in allentown, 68 in philadelphia, 62 millville. tell you what, if the only weather headline we have today getting little bit more humid, you know in for pretty decent day, no rain, no storms, nothing like that to track. heating up through the week, mix every sunday shine and cloud today, system lurking offer to the south. still there tomorrow. we start to get into what's known as more return flow, southwest wind around the edge after area of high pressure, as the high moves away, you start to tap into the moisture lurking off to the south. so tomorrow you will feel the humidity ramp up even more. wednesday it just gets down right hot. we're between systems with

construction continues here, of course at the long-term project, replacing patco high-speed line, but also again three lanes this morning come nothing philadelphia. i went over the benny yesterday. i tell you what a mess from philly into new jersey, it seemed like every expansion joint there was major, major speed bump until to about mid-span. so, there is a loft work that is ahead of them here on the ben franklin bridge. no delays there at the moment. downtown we go. live look at the vine expressway, into and out of philadelphia, light volume so far. we do have an accident, though, on 492 freeway. this is southbound there is will

into new jersey, this morning. right at route 544. now, of course, with a monday morning, a the love folks like to stay extra day, weather wasn't too, too nice down there yesterday at the shore, we may not see as much volume this morning coming back. but the expressway, parkway, 47, usually we see some extra ao problems to report at the moment. and northbound on the northeast extension, just watch for some overnight construction between quakertown and the lehigh valley, until about 7:00. kate, i heard it wasn't too hot down the shore weather wise yesterday. what do you have for the rest of the week for vacation? >> i think the rest of the week down the shore looks a lot better than the weekend, storm lurking off the coast, wind, showers down the shore, but now that's all moved storm scan3, not seeing much in the way of cloud cover out there. we zoom south, still have the system lurking off to the south across portions of virginia, north carolina, so outer banks not looking at the best beach day today. certainly better not the jersey shore, delaware beaches not so bad on your stepping out the door right now, light jacket in some spots, especially for the poconos, where it is only in the 50's, 68 at the airport, six an in wilmington, and 61 right now atlantic city. boy, cool for july. average high line at 87. notice how the past five days have been well below that line. we've averaged about 83, about four, 5 degrees below normal. right through the weekend and we will stay actually couple every degrees below normal
