home video shows the suspect being wrestled to the ground in the side yard by officers. shortly after he allegedly broke into this home, tying up a woman, and forcing the home owner, her fiances, to drive-in his car to a nearby wawa to withdraw cash. an though her husband witnessed the arrest. >> he heard the police officer yelling, get down, get down to the ground and with that, they all surrounded the subject and got him down to the ground. >> reporter: police say when stolen car was spotted the suspect, took off, but after a brief pursuit he jumped from the car, race ago cross the busy rush hour lanes of the schuylkill expressway, before being arrested. >> the fence runs across the the expressway and sound barrier war in the merion township. >> reporter: police say that the the victim's home may have been chosen at random by the alleged robber who rode a route 100 trolley to a nearby

i-95 245 sent a woman to the hospital today. officials tell thaws a tow truck carrying a backhoe hit the princeton pike over pass, the backhoe fell off the tow truck as a result of the collision and then hit the car behind it. several lanes of traffic had to be shut down, drivers should still expect delays in the area we are told engineers are on site right now inspecting the bridge, the truck driver was not hurt. right now police are searching for a gunman who shot two men in northeast philadelphia that shooting happened overnight in the 4600 block of kendrick street in holmesberg. police say gunman fired 17 shots hitting a car, a home, and two men standing outside. those men were shot twice, each and are recovering tonight. also in the northeast police believe they have found weapon used in the double shooting overnight, engaged couple suffered from serious injuries in the shooting that happened outside a drugstore on castor avenue. the gun man remains on the loose but police hope surveillance video from area businesses caught that crime

on tape. the search is on tonight for brazen robbers responsible for a heist at an atlantic city casino. new jersey state police say caesars was rob early yesterday morning, sources tell "eyewitness news" that those suspects got away with $181,000 in cash. well, meanwhile philadelphia's only casino is preparing for a major expansion, as "eyewitness news" reporter steve paterson tells us sugar house is taking a game that many lady luckies on its side. >> reporter: before sugar house not much to see at the edge of fishtown. >> blighted sight, fences were up and wees growing and garbage and new people have access to the river. >> reporter: and access to the slots but reception meant initial plans had to be held off just look at the file video of this original scaled model, now though. >> wow, wow. >> reporter: casino representatives say it is time. >> very exciting day long time coming. >> reporter: sugar house breaking ground on 164

on the healthwatch tonight a warning from the health department in delaware about the new mosquito born virus called chicken gunea, while there are no reported cases in delaware itself there are 20 cases of chicken gunea in new jersey and seven in pennsylvania. four of those seven are in,

philadelphia all of those four infected after traveling to the caribbean. health officials urge people to take the usual precautions, as they try avoid mosquitoes. philadelphia is coming up with new ways to deal with storm run off, the the city's water department showed off their newly paved parking lot made with materials that will let rain, drain, directly into the ground. this technology allows only rain what the tore pass through and that will prevent debris from getting through and blocking drains and sewers. the method cost 50 percent more but officials say it will pay off in the long run. well, if you are boardwalk bound this weekend you can expect some top notch grub. that is right several local shore towns are on the new list of the best boardwalk food, lets take a look, atlantic city, ocean city, wildwood, and rehoboth beach, delaware all have of them making the cut. tonight our syma chowdhry shows us what is on the menu. >> reporter: the shore has sun, sand and, of course, the

place other than down the shore, we love it. we're talking about warm, conditions, that will spread even down the shore. you're looking from our camera that sits on top of the music pier in ocean city and of course looking down beach, still sun bathers enjoying those warmer ocean water temperatures in the 70's now. we have to take that warm water while we dan get it because by tomorrow when we get in the southeasterly wind a lot of times it the blows that warmer ocean water, out to sea and when that warmer ocean water goes out to sea the the colder water comes up from the bottom. we call that upwelling. tomorrow we could be in for cooler ocean water temperatures. look gooding in ocean city cape may county, grab some fried oreos while you can get them. lets look at our live neighborhood network inland that cuts the middle school and beautiful day there with a few fair weather clouds this wind south southwest at 5 miles an hour just a really pretty day. you can see with the heat of the day billowing cumulus cloud beginning to form and as

sun gets lower in the sky that begins to dissipate. it is going to be a very muggy night across the region. storm scan 3a few clouds here and there. that is just about it. more numerous showers and storms will be developing tomorrow because of this, a cold front approaching from the northwest, we have heat, humidity on this side. trier weather on the west side. this front is that focus mechanism for showers and thunderstorms. we will have that tomorrow afternoon and evening. by thursday this front will not clear the shore until late in the day so you could have a shore shower, elsewhere in the philadelphia area we will be drying out in the 80's and high pressure builds back in for friday with plenty of sunshine, dryer conditions and deep blue skies returns with lower humidity. lets talk about the timing of the storms, between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. around this time tomorrow. we will see storms in the lehigh valley and northern and western suburbs like pottstown, quakertown. 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. fill and adjacent suburbs. say storms between 9:00 and 11:00 south jersey including the shore and delaware beaches will see showers and storms,

and it will dissipate maybe see a few showers on thursday. lets give you an update on tropical depression number two, right now still organized, could strengthen and continues its track toward the west but it will be encountering some sheer and also some dry air, this is the dry air, courtesy of our water shape on image in the tropics and when it gets into this environment, it will dissipate. i think by thursday this could be a tropical low, and hopefully not be a threat to any land. during the overnight partly cloudy, muggy low of 72. during day wednesday heat and humidity. late storms in the evening. high of 91. good news is that heat doesn't stick around, thursday we are clearing it out, friday looks great, same for saturday, sunday some late storms, monday stays unsettled and then by tuesday, quiet again, with temperatures below average, and that could be the trend right through the end of the month and into august. we will continue our list of best shore foods, through the
