more. >> don't you guys love me on these days? >> i do, i do. >> yes, we have real nice weather coming up here, guys, spec to go see temperatures easily get into nice warmer the torrey. it won't be hot. we've got low humidity in the forecast for you, as well, we'll keep the sunshine around here, specking around the region as a whole to see the sunshine last us all day long, low humidity, cooler day down, or rather up toward the poconos, but again, some real nice weather as we continue to, again, keep the sunshine, high pressure building in nicely for us. more details on your full forecast coming up in the next few minutes, guys, back to you. >> thank you. >> see you soon. developing at this hour, authorities are still trying to figure out what caused a patient to open fire inside a delaware county medical facility thursday afternoon. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jen carabeo is in darby right now. police identify the shooter as 49 year old richard plot. jen? >> reporter: the shooting suspect remains in the hospital this morning, in critical condition. in the meantime, police are

still searching for motive in this attack that left this patient's doctor wounded and his case worker dead. now the shooting all unfolded behind me here in darby at mercy wellness center right around 2:00 yesterday. police say 49 year old richard plot, a pschiatric patient at the center, was visiting his doctor, lee silverman. his case worker was there, too. police say plot pulled the gun during a heated argument, then silverman drew his own gun, both shot, and all three in the room were hit. fellow doctors called 911, then went after and subdued the suspect. plot shot three times in the chest. his doctor suffered graze wounds to the face, since treated and released from the hospital and that case worker, chaos exclusively to cbs-3. >> shots, running, screaming. >> i saw man run, crying, and caring on, blood all over his

head. >> now the d.a. says plot will be charged with murder, in the meantime, cbs-3 is learning more about his history and his run in's with police, long history dating back to 1990. we will also hear from his ex-wife coming up in our next half hour. reporting live in darby, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> all right, jan, thank you. 4:33, traffic and weather together on 39's. >> good morning, everybody. talk about a nice day coming up here, i always say these are the forecasts i love to give. i am a weather geek. i like to track storms, i like to see big events take place, but these are also the days that i know you guys love. and i got to be honest, ya, loving it, it will be so nice outside. and it is friday. i mean, what more could you ask for? we see all year about this time of year, more humidity, because it is summer in philly, you know? storm scan three clearing out, we had frontal boundery still making its retreat yesterday. as the day went on, if you were outside at all, probably noticed, breath of fresh air. started to feel so much nicer. that's the way the whole day will feel today. no transition at this point, rather, just sitting in this nice, comfortable zone of high pressure, now, i want to take you all the way ahead to next week. eventually once again the jet stream will dig south, bring in cooler air, so we're setting up for another very significant cool down by next week. in the meantime, there will still be couple of hot days to work with here. in fact, that actually starts as early as this weekend, given the fact we have our next warmfront lifting north. today is the day for sure. absolutely perfect. currently standing into the mid 60s at the airport, feels more like late spring than anything. right now flirting with the 40's even in mount pocono. that's a big deal. low 50's, also being reported off to the north and west, happy valley, pittsburgh,

buffalo, list goes on, but back here at home, we showed this earlier, we expect an absolutely fantastic day to unfold, if you see couple of puffy white clouds, that's about it, otherwise abundant sunshine, which means, bob, you have to put the sun block on the nose today. >> sound good. i think i have to do those chores and well later today. 4:35, tgif. a lot of -- live look i-95. they were milling the roadway last night, they were working on the southbound side, down near the airport, so just watch both north and south between ridley and the girard point double decker, that uneven pavement, as you roll through the weekend. the schuylkill expressway, looking good, headlights coming into downtown philly. no problems or delays at all from ends to ends on the schuylkill. actually in good shape, as well, coming in from the suburbs, 422 looking good at king of prussia, just watch, little brake tapping slower than normal through the construction working your way up through malvern. over night crews still with us on the pennsylvania turnpike, working both directions, near the willow grove interchange,

until about 5:30 or so, there could be 20 minute stoppages, all for the place of some overhead beams along the willow grove interchange. some overnight road work, north on the freeway, right at the atlantic city expressway. they're going to wrap up that, finish it up before we get ready for the trip to the shore this weekend. mass transit looking good with no reported delays. natasha, back over to you. >> bob, thank you so much. this morning, it is business as usual at philadelphia international airport. >> airlines resumed departure to tel-aviv israel hours after the faa lifted its travel ban. us air flights 796 the first to take off and schedule. the faa ban came on the heals of ongoing violence in gaza. some travelers we spoke with were not concerned, others even questioned the necessity of the restrictions. >> tel-aviv airport is very safe and we have no worries. >> maybe the faa had extra precautions, which i understand maybe it was politics but i feel

comfortable on us airways. >> we'll have much more on this coming up for you. state department says the f.a.a.'s decision was not politically motivated. meanwhile that flight expected to lands in tel-aviv around 8:00 a.m. our time. >> just learned israel security cabinet will meet today to discuss cease-fire efforts with hamas as the death toll continues to rise. more than 800 palestinians are dead and 115 killed yesterday in one of the bloodiest days after more than two weeks of fighting. thirty-four israelis including 32 soldiers and a tai worker have also been killed. the wreckage of missing air al gear jet was found in mali, third airline disaster in just a week. yellow arrow seen here shows the plane's flight pal to algiers in north after a red dot is the dessert area where the wreck was actually found. the wreckage. the aircraft disappeared from radar less than an hour after take off thursday morning. all 116 passengers on board were killed. in their final transmission,

pilots asked air control to change the route because of heavy rain. now investigators also believe these holes here found near the fuselage of malaysia airline flight 17 may have come from a machine gun. all 298 passengers on board this flight were killed when the plane was shot down last week in ukraine. thursday more bodies arrived in the netter land. team of forensic work remembers now work to go identify the remains. european union ambassadors will meet today to discuss more possible sanctions against russia. and new this morning, crash in philadelphia's hunting park section sends a man to the hospital. this happened just after 2:00 a.m. on old york road, near butler street. accident investigators say two cars collided at the intersection, causing one to over turn, into a parked car. a man in his 50's was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. no word on what caused this crash. a new jersey child porn important bus lands 14 men

behind bars. michael vancoln of salem county could face to up 20 years in jail. investigators say he blackmailed a teenage girl to strip naked on a web camera. suspects andrew shrine err and armando norites, both work for the shepherd bus company, driving children in the mays landing area. shepherd defends his hiring practices, say the two men no longer work there. the state acting attorney general called them all child preditors. >> we allege that all of these preyed on innocent children by viewing, distributing, and in one case, creating images of children being sexually tortured and sexually exploited. >> michael parker, youth minister at the first presbyterian church in merchantville. allegedly had photos of clothed boys on his church computer along with porn images. the church has not responded to our request for comment. general motors expect to

we are still clear as a bell, frontal boundary still making its retreat. it is now still visible, but out to sea, so everybody has since cleared out. we are, again, literally figure tiffly in the clear here with high pressure keeping control and taking the lead for at least the next couple of days. there is going to be new warmfront, that eventually starts to move n we walk you through. that will lots of sunshine, low humidity, i call this the weather trifecta. we have the comfortable humidity with abundant sun, also, it is warm, but not hot. it is just a nice day all around. later on tonight, we drop it back down to the mid 60s, couple every clouds still expected overhead, light winds set unless for us here. wind also turning more southwesterly, so we start heating up tomorrow, upper 80s expected, generally with sunshine, but there may be thunderstorm popping up in a couple of spots, should be very isolated. sunday maybe little more widespread activity. also expecting daytime high to hit 09 degrees. looking forward to monday, 88 degrees, shower or thunderstorm. that will mark the arrival and

>> developing story that leads this morning's look at headlines. investigators trying to figure out what prompted deadly shooting at miss err fitzgerald hospital in darby. he was shot by a doctor after a suspect shot and killed a case worker yesterday afternoon. doctor suffered graze wound to the head in that shoot-out. israel's parliament meets today to discuss cease-fire thefts their ongoing battle with hamas in the gaza strip. 150 palestinians, 34 israelis, were killed yesterday in one of the bloodiest days of the conflict. and more than dozen men are under arrest after huge child pornography bus in new jersey. authorities say, two of the men were school bus drivers in mays landing, cape may county. time now to gather check on business. >> money watch's jill wagner joins us from the new york torque stock exchange, good morning to you, jill. >> reporter: good morning, ukee, natasha. >> so its earning season. amazon apparently polls dollars pretty disappointing numbers yesterday. what can you tell us about that? >> yes. well, that's right, amazon has

despite a huge surge in sales, amazon is still posting some disappointing earnings. now it, comes as the company is p.m. ago loft monday my research and development. they've been working on that delivery by drones programs. they're also out today with their latest smart phone, and their only smart phone at this point, as we discussed it has potential to let you see images in 3d. so, certainly, they are looking for a big boost in terms of those smart phone sales. we'll see what that does for the bottom line. >> jill, we know more fast-food chains like taco bell have been jumping into the breakfast business, but now, i understand, there is a restaurant chain with a different idea. >> yes. well, dunkin' donuts has got a new strategy. they are looking to boost sales after the morning rush. so if you stop by a dunkin' donuts in the afternoon, the cashier could suggest a cookie, a donut, even a sandwich with your afternoon cup of coffee.
