today would fall between about september 9th to 11th or so. >> they're not specific at all. >> not at all, yes. details, details, right? >> love it. >> feels great outside. feels more reminiscent of late summer more than anything. really starting to feel more like it is football weather, tailgate weather outside today. still sunshine, though, we'll keep pretty quiet conditions for you, as well. generally speaking this forecast as we look ahead is a nice one. eventually, toward the week's ends, though, i can't rule out couple of showers and storms, we will be talking about that, the best shots for the days where we ends one showers, storms, also meantime, just nice outside. so we'll talk about those temperatures, all coming up. erika, back to you for now. >> this is just in. we have learned two murder suspects arraigned overnight following deadly carjacking crash that killed three children. >> "eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry is at the crash scene in north philly right now where vigil expected to take place later tonight. syma? >> reporter: that's right,

ukee, erika two, suspects have been arranged shortly before 2:00 this morning. officials say strong police work and community tips led to their arrest. nineteen year old jonathan rosa and 22 year old corneilius crawford now facing murder, sexual assaults, and numerous other charges. police say they carjacked a realtor and sexually assault dollars her when a tire blew sending the stolen suv into the corner where the three siblings were selling fruit. fifteen year old carol williams, ten year old joseph read, year old terrence moore, struck and killed, their mother, keisha williams, and the realtor injured, both romain hospitalized this morning. officials say rosa turned himself in sunday with his mom, and pastor, by his side, making a full confession to police. >> he is cooperating. he is trying to do everything in his power to erase the image every those poor children going over the hood of the car. >> what they did was inchdefensible, also unforgivable. so whatever remorse they may or may not have does not bring

back those children. >> reporter: this gut wrenching story has touched many hearts, in fact, former nba legend and former sixers play, charles barkley, is now offering to pay for the funeral costs for the children. in the meantime, vigil has been set up for this evening, at 6:00 right here in germantown and allegheny avenues. live in north philadelphia, syma chowdhry, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> syma, thank you. 4:33, back to kate, hear more about our fall like forecast. >> it will be a nice day. when we say fall, i think people immediately think oh, it will start getting cold again. it is not going to be cold out there. rather, this is more like the transition between seasons for us when we talk about what is normal for philadelphia at this time of year. temperatures in a second. let's give you quick view, "skycam 3" live over the ben franklin bridge, liver from the campbell's field camera across the liver, see the delaware moving along smoothly right now, and things are pretty quiet. winds has died down. it is cleared out real nicely

and storm scan3 has done the same, in fact, doing so at this very same time yesterday, cold front making its full retreat here. so we cleared out nicely, the humidity has dropped, but now, we still have this cool pool of air aloft. i think eventually ends one few more clouds as the day goes on, even back through northwestern pennsylvania, may even be few speckles of green firing up on the radar with few residual showers. i don't think we have to wore that i here necessarily, but more clouds as the day goes onment talking dew points, we talk about these all the time this time of year. the lower they are, the more comfortable it is, and these are pretty low, even in dover, below the 06 degrees benchmark where it would start to feel humid. so the drier air has start today settle in, it means pretty good hair day once again, west-northwest winds will help that along, too, not windy necessarily, but with that flow coming in from canada, feels a lot better. currently in pair of six areas at the airport, 56 degrees in mount pocono. this will really be dose of september for you out there.

again, more like early to mid september, in terms of the standards, our temperatures should only top off low 80s, at best. bob, over to you. >> good morning, yes, feels good out there. good morning, everybody, open up the front door, head out to i-95, crews, construction crews, loving this kind of weather on the overnight. working out along i95. here is a live look near 420. so both directions between 420 and the airport, north and southbound, you're going to find the uneven pavement with crews have been milling the roadway on the overnight. another spot they've been working all night, dust cloud here, this is that eastbound schuylkill expressway, between spring garden street and head in the 30th streetment again, they pick up the cones. what you realize little different this morning is again little bit of speed bump. again, they milled the roadways, right around spring garden feel the bump. then have that rocky ride in through that 30th street tunnel area. notice few times, too, some rocks kicking up onto your car along the way, once those crews have pulled away.

crash down here in delaware, old baltimore pike closed just off route 96. also, a crash along doylestown road, right at claire mount drive. and for the gang leaving south jersey so far so good on major roadways there. erika, ukee, over to you. >> pair of good samaritans spring into action after a car crashes into the delaware river. >> it happened along a pedestrian friendly portion of philadelphia's penn's landing. now, police say it appears the driver of this black suv was seen running from the scene from an accident in old city shortly before 6:00 last night. that's when had he hopped onramp that connects the chestnut street bridge to columbus boulevard and plunge intoed the river. eyewitnesses say it was like a scene from a movie. >> it was something you never see here, probably never see again. >> had to be doing about 100, 110, hit the wall. >> i just seen him flying through the air, and the back hatch opened up it, went straight into the water. >> the 36 year old driver was unresponsive when rescued, and later died at the hospital.

the police investigation continues. five people are recovering at home after a hazardous materials incident in the lehigh valley. authorities tell us, the group was expose today some sort of chemical at green star recycling. chopper three over the scene as first responders arrived on smith lane in northampton township yesterday morning. it is unclear at the moment what exactly caused the problem. now, new this morning, a man is hospitalized after a stabbing in west philadelphia's overbrook neighborhood. it happened shortly after 12:30, inside a home along the 6100 block of west columbia avenue. police say 58 year old man was stabbed multiple times in a possible domestic violence incident. took another man into custody, and interviewing a female witness. >> the obama administration leveling new charges against russia. this time it is for violating 1987 nuclear missile treaty. us says russia tested new grounds launch crews missile. meanwhile fighting in ukraine continues to prevent australian and dutch

investigators from getting to the scene of the malaysia airlines crash. record presser flight 17, show the plane suffered a sudden explosive decompression, consistent with being punctured by shrapnel. >> military has accused hamas ... >> see, that israeli military intensifies, forcing cnn crew to take cover there. reporter carl penhole duck during that live shot, he popped right down, that's after allowed explosion hit the finance ministry in gaza city. israeli air strike also hit a hamas controlled television station. now, we have a live picture for you of gaza's pour plant after israili tank shells knocked it out of service. you can see smoke still rising there in the background. the shells hit one of three fuel tanks in the compounds. no immediate word on casualties, and so far no comment from israel. even before that strike, though, gaza residents had power for only about three hours a day.

legal defeat for la clippers donald sterling. >> judge refuses to block the $2 billion sale of his team. the superior court judge sided with wife shelly. she negotiated the sale of the team to steve ballmer, also under this ruling, donald sterling cannot delay the sale from going forward as he appeals his case. sterling was banned by the nba from making racist remarks. and, couple of would be thieves picked the wrong business to rob. they tried to take a bank bag filled with cash from a texas gas station. they were in the process of roughing up an employee, but his co-worker quickly came to his aid and sue what happens here. that second employee also happens to be a five time marshall mixed -- mixed

a vigil scheduled for tonight for the three young victims of last week's deadly north philadelphia carjacking. early this morning, jonathan rosa and corneilius crawford formerly charged with murder, and also, other crimes in connection with that carjacking and hit-and-run. police say a man died when his suv went into the delaware river at penn's landing just before 6:00 last night. good samaritans tried to pull him to safety but he died later at. who investigators stay appears the driver was fleeing the scene after accident in old city, when he lost control of

his car. and a 58 year old man is in the hospital at the university of pennsylvania with several stab wounds. he was stabbed inside a home on the 6100 block of west columbia avenue around 12:30 this morning. police are investigating the circumstances. time now for check of your business news. >> jill wagner joins us now from the new york stock exchange, hearing that southwest airlines has to pay some pretty big bucks to the government. what's going on here? >> yes, that's right, good morning, ukee, erika. the federal aviation administrates wants to hit southwest airlines with a $12 million fine. the agency says southwest failed to make proper repairs on some of its boeing 737 jets beginning in 2006. southwest has 30 days to respond to the complaint, and it can also negotiate to reduce the fines. ukee, erika? >> jill, uber said it patched the security flaws that allowed to see the passenger rating. what's this about? >> yes, well, it turns out,

right at welsh rd. the movie theater here off to the right to give you locate or, right at the busy intersection, looks like we do have at least that far right lane getting on through. the ben franklin bridge, good morning, coming into downtown, no problems or delays at all. that construction crew here, working in that right lane, heading in toward south jersey. then couple of other accidents in the neighborhood for the gang in delaware, old baltimore pike blocked just off route 896. so out of the gate this morning, route 40, would be your best bet. another crash, just outside of lansdale, doylestown road, at claire mount drive. now, they were working all night on the i-95, the stretch between the girard point double decker, through the airport area, down to 420. so as you head out this morning, both directions through that stretch you're going to find that uneven pavement there from the milling crews, that were out over the weekend. hopefully, katie, by the end of the week, they'll bring back the old asphalt, try to pave that stretch of roadway. how is the weather looking for the pavers though? >> overall not bad.
