pool, is it? >> you know, this afternoon might be okay. i'm not going to call this day out, just based on what's happening this morning. which isn't great. even the shore areas, seen one, 2 inches every rain, urban, a small stream flood advisory until 9:45 this morning, i think you'll be seeing drying moving, in very often, as well, also the big art showdown there. may be getting deals because of the bad weather, head down to ocean city, the 52nd annual arts show that they have down there, people will be coming from all over the east coast, the tents are up fortunately the tents are up. let's head to another boardwalk, down in rehoboth beach. still little wet on these boards right now, but things will be drying out. and how do i know that? because i'm taking a look at storm scan3. i want you to watch this. this is a back edge of this. so it is coming up, then we start to see some drying moving n notice it shrinking also going in this direction. this will be getting out of here, some of the heaviest rain this morning right along the shore as we fully expected
6:49 am
it would be, one to 2 inches of rain have fallen out of these clouds and showers and storms that have been through here, but things are on an improving trends. temperatures haven't budgeted. they're in the 60s in every location, mid to upper 60s. now here's what you really opportunity see. this computer model is so on target, i love this. which means it has got good chance every staying on target, which means we could by 10:00 o'clock this morning be seeing a lot of the bulk of this rainout of here. we find few showers still scattered around in places, some clouds out there, too, but the bulk of the heavy rain gone. by 11:00 we have showers, one or two other spots. by 1:00 p.m. they are in a couple of other spots. but it is not the same steady heavy rain, and just along the shore, but you will be finding some someplace. look at 5:00 o'clock. clouds, thinning out enough that we see sunshine, we see showers off to the north and west, where we don't have them now. so the day will be changing. and every hour or two it will be a little bit different looking with showers, and sun,
6:50 am
and clouds, and maybe even chance at least of thunderstorm, not guarantee. and then by the time we get to 10:00 o'clock tonight, look at this, dry through philadelphia, that's the way it looks right now, according to this computer model. tomorrow morning we start with some clouds, do we fill in with couple every rain showers by 11:00 tomorrow, and few others, by 2:00 in the afternoon, on sunday, and by the time we get to later on sunday, are there few other showers scattered around, this is a look at 7:00 tomorrow. and then, on monday, another chance of some showers, coming in here, so we just can't seem to get rid of that. and keep a consistently dry period. but what's not consistently wet either. so just know it is on-off rain. temperatures in the 70s today, that cloud cover definately cutting down on just how warm it gets. then tomorrow, we're into the lower 80s, humid, get chance again of picking up some showers, maybe thunderstorm, same deal on monday, as the temperatures climb into the middle 80s. and then we are also watching bertha, the tropics, heating up little bit.
6:51 am
not overly impressive thank goodness. tropical storms stays a tropical storm, stays away from the united states, rushes with 50-mile per hour winds, caribbean, port rickey, virgin islands, curves away, creates rough surf. this is going to be probably the monday through wednesday time period along the eastern united state. but bertha stays away. seventy-seven, philadelphia, shore, 75 the poconos, 75 degrees, chance of shower in all locations, chance of no shower in all locations. seventy-seven, general temperature this afternoon, probably just about as high as we'll see it. 65 degrees, for the temperature tonight, again, we can't rule out chance of a shower, maybe even thunderstorm, and the same story tomorrow, at 81 degrees, monday, warmer, still that chance of a shower or a thunderstorm, tuesday, almost 90 degrees. and then wednesday, thursday, friday, 85 degrees. now, i know you're going to be out this weekend. and we're glad. and you can get the updated forecast any time yourself with the new cbs philly
