67 degrees. >> yes, yes 67. i know you normally work night shift so you are used to temperatures at night. >> yes. >> in the early mornings we have temperatures often like this. >> it feels cold for august. >> it had only a fall-like feel to it, i think dianne even yesterday did you note that is even air temperatures staying in the 70's. winds were blowing, cloudy, raining from time to time. it had that feel. we will feel more like summer to day and on that seven day forecast. center city tops of the buildings cut off by low clouds out there. i want to show you right now we have had some showers pretty much drying out throughout the philadelphia area but they will continue along the shore areas. this is a similar look to what we saw yesterday morning with the heavier rain along the shore but it is leaving wilmington and townsend and dover now and philadelphia and points to the north and west of that. as we get close inner to south jersey notice some showers still there. go far enough back to the west

and get to i-95 and we are not looking at anything except lingering wet roads. notice those areas in green and that is through delaware, also through sections of southern new jersey where we have that urban and small stream flood advisory until 10:30 this morning. we have seen rain in those locations. temperatures in the 60's in every single location and we will find temperatures today getting to 81 degrees with you these showers will break up and we will find them scattered around. it is not an all day rain every place. we will let you know how that time line finishing out, when i come back diana. >> thanks, carol. new this morning police are searching for a suspect who attempted to break in the food truck in the olney section of philadelphia. it happened at north second street, and ned row avenue. officer spotted a suspect and gave chase. as the the the suspect jumped in his car the officer tried to grab him. >> after proceeding south on second street the the police officer was hanging on to the male who was inside the car and with the driver who were

driver door half ajar. the officer was drug, from the the rear alley way until he got to second and nedrow. >> that officer was not seriously hurt just a few scrapes to his leg. the suspect hit a few cars fleeing the the scene including a police cruiser. the the getaway car was found a short time later on the 5800 block of marshall street. a double shooting is under inn votesgation in south philadelphia this morning. police tell cbs-3 that two women were shot during a graduation party. it happened on the 3300 block of smedley street around 1:00 o'clock. a 21 year-old woman was shot in the leg and she is now in stable condition. the the other victim a 17 year-old girl suffered a grazed wound to her arm and stomach. she refused medical treatment. philadelphia police arrested a suspect in the shooting in grays ferry where a three-year old child was killed and three others were injured. this morning police were searching for a second suspect, in connection with the shooting, "eyewitness

news" reporter steve paterson is live outside police headquarters with more details on this investigation, good morning, steve. >> reporter: good morning, diana. that suspect has been arrested and is being held, without bail, has been charged with you it is not stopping the outrage of a community and the the grief, of a the mother. i want to take you back to the scene and we will show you a picture of the young girl three-year old tynirah borum was just getting her hair braided on a neighborhood porch when she was shot in the chest, she was rushed to the hospital, but pronounced dead, later on. she was a bystander when two men started an argument, sometime around 9:30 friday night, the 1500 block of eding street in grays ferry. one of those men police say was 22-year old douglass woods whom police say decided to pull a gun and start shooting to end that argument. police say woods shot his target, 24 year-old, who remains in critical condition after being shot in the head, and then he also shot three other bystanders, a 21

year-old man was shot in the leg, a 28 year-old woman shot in the arm. and they are both in stable and both are recovering. but he also shot again three-year old little tynirah. her death sparked a series of rallies and vigils yesterday, remembering tynirah, also denouncing gun violence, we caught up with her mother who was doing the same. >> it was very devastating, like that was might only child, put down the guns. these are innocent babies getting hit my baby. three years old. just beginning life. now i got to prepare for her funeral. a second suspect in connection to the shooting, so we will check with them for updates throughout the day. reporting live from philadelphia, from philadelphia police headquarters, i'm steve paterson for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". thanks, steve. a father is facing charges a assaulted his two month-old baby boy. staffers at einstein medical

center notified police on friday they were treating an infant with injuries from the emergency room. the child was transported to st. christopher's where he remains in critical condition this morning. his father 20 year-old brian armstrong of fernrock is charged with aggravated assault and other related offenses. for the second day in a row investigators searched for two bodies believed to be buried in a delaware county park. a murder suspect led upper darby police to indian rock park in springfield object friday. john guncz told officials he stabbed a man and woman to death in his apartment two years ago and dismembered their bodies and buried them in the park. police have yet to find any evidence of that. first of two members stricken with e bowl a lands in atlanta as cbs news correspondent omar villafranca reports this marks first time that the deadly virus will be treated in the united states. >> reporter: patient dressed in full white containment suit stepped out of the ambulance saturday afternoon. another person, also dressed

in protective clothing, let the patient into emery university hospital in atlanta. the patient, is an american doctor kent brantly who was infect with the ebola virus. he will receive treatment at the hospital. >> we are ready. we are looking forward to trying to help this patient and assist his family in anyway possible. >> reporter: brantly was flown from west africa to the united states in a private medical jet. after landing at georgia's dobbins air reserve base he was loaded in an ambulance which was accompanied by several vehicles and a police escort on the 15 million ride to the hospital. the procedure will be repeated in the next couple of days as a second ebola patient american aid worker nancy wright is transferred from after rake a to atlanta. this marks the first time that anyone with the disease has within trout to the hospital. emery has a specialized isolation june to it assure that the disease does not spread. >> i truly believe in the

two workers are hurt after a powerful explosion rocks a north jersey pharmaceutical lab. it happened last night at

8 inches have of rain so berta brought much needed rain but probably too much of it. i want to put this in motion. this is last four hours. you get the idea. this is what diana was talking about with the rain we have seen around here. now it has pretty much stopped, we still have gray skies, they have not stopped they should improve as they did yesterday in a number of locations throughout the afternoon but we cannot rule out a chance of the shower. so notice we are seeing this clearing. we have had rain through philadelphia this morning. this whole line is moving away, pulling away and that will improve our weather today. also bring in maybe some sun breaks in there which would be certainly welcomed or thinning of the clouds in spots. 67 degrees in philadelphia. everybody in the 60's. this is almost identical wet ter what it was yesterday. so whatever it was, yesterday, it is honorary pete, we have a stalled front that is keeping these showers here, temperatures today will be slightly warmer then yesterday. yesterday in philadelphia we

will stop at 77. today we will not stop until 81 degrees. then on monday we are a couple degrees higher in the 80's. by tuesday we are several degrees higher then that almost 90 degrees. each day there is at least a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. most of the time it will be dry and a front comes through here on wednesday and that changes weather once again. so our future weather as we go out into time here are scattered showers i was mentioning. also notice some clearing spots, so you might see some sunshine and then you will get a shower again. it will be in and out of that activity all day. this is 11:00 o'clock at night. we have got more dynamics for picking up a shower or then are storm. even monday afternoon you cannot rule out picking up a couple of these showers as well into tuesday we might see a chance of that happening. we are in the totally out of the woods with this weather. berta is getting out of here. never becomes a hurricane

this morning. it is exactly 7:31, 67 degrees in center city. here's carol erickson's with today's forecast. let's just say i'm in wildwood and i want to get to the beach, hypothetically, am i going to get any beach time? >> well, the beach is there despite the weather, the beach is always there. you can go to the beach, would you like what you see above you. >> not this morning probably not unless you like walking on the beach in rain which a lot of people do and it is a lot of fun but notice on storm scan three diana, if you are heading to anywhere along the the shore we have showers there now. we have seen them earlier this morning and we have seen enough of them that there is an urban and small street flood advisory for shore areas because once again like yesterday we have pick up one to 2 inches of rain in these spots but just like yesterday we're also seeing clearing and driving moving in. look at this, look at how this rain starts to shrink. it will pull away from the

shore areas as we go through the morning hours. not to say we won't find a chance of picking up a shower of that but generally things are improving. i mention that had urban and small stream flood advisory, in delaware and through sections of southern new jersey and that is, for portions of cape may, coupler with land, kent and sussex until 10:30 when things start to dry out. temperatures in the 60's as they were yesterday morning at this point. we will be several degrees warmer then yesterday at 81 degrees with the chance of a shower or thunderstorm scattered about not every place all the time. so not a wash out today but maybe not as nice an afternoon as we saw just about every place yesterday. we will continue to follow let you see exactly where it will be, maybe showering, and when coming up, diana. >> thanks, carol. a suspect is arrested in friday's deadly shooting in grays ferry as a three-year old was killed there and three others were injured. "eyewitness news" reporter steve paterson is live outside police headquarters with details as police searched for

another suspect good morning, steve. >> reporter: good morning diane a there is just a sense of frustration and anger especially in the community there in grays ferry. as we look at just this week, this is the fifth child that has been killed in the the middle of a violent crime or tragedy. we have been showing thaw child now. her name is tynirah borum, she was shot yesterday i'm sorry, friday night, just a bystander, sometime around # 30:00 in the 1500 block of eding street. that is in grays ferry. she was shot in the chest. she was rush to the hospital. and pronounced dead. one of the men involved in a two person argument police say is 22-year old douglass woods, who pulled out a gun during that argument and then started shooting. police say woods shot the 24 year-old he was fighting with shot him in the head. remains in critical condition. but he also shot the three other people, a 21 year-old man shot in the leg a 28 year-old woman shot in the

arm. both of those people were in stable condition taken to the hospital and they are expect to be okay but also that three-year old little girl tynirah shot in the chest. her death spark a series of rallies, marches vigils yesterday. denouncing violence, in the community, and we have spoken to tynirah's mother as well as people who were angry that this has happened yesterday again. >> why was she out that late? why could than the she be out there that late? why couldn't she be sitting out on the porch? >> today it was somebody else's child, tomorrow it can be yours. >> put down the the guns. it is innocent babies getting hit. my baby. three years old, just beginning life. i have to prepare for her funeral now. >> being held without bail, he is being charged with murder and other criminal related offenses but police say they are searching, for a second

suspect, in connection with the shooting. it is latees from philadelphia police headquarters i'm steve paterson for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". just as steve mentioned dozens of people gathered for a vigil at love park to remember tynirah borum. it was organize by am necessary stay international, they urged the president and congress to take immediate action to address epidemic of gun violence calling it the a human rights violation that disproportionately effects young people and minorities. >> this is more than just a statistic but this is a little girl who had a family parents and a future and we want to make sure this isn't something that we sigh and think it is a tragedy and we keep ignoring. >> amnesty international say gun violence is a community problem that needs a community solution. now to the latest on a water warning in ohio. the governor there has issued a state of emergency because it is affecting half a million residents. as correspondent marley hall tells us that the officials

say that boiling the water could only be more toxic. >> reporter: people in toledo, ohio are lining up, for fresh water. >> i have a son i have to take care of. he has got to drink, milk and stuff, and he has to use the water. >> imagine trying to live without water, it is obviously a very difficult situation for everyone. >> reporter: residents in toledo, most of the suburbs and even some in southeastern michigan were warned saturday not to use water from their taps because of raised levels of a toxin. so far the source is unknown with you city officials suspect it could be from allergy on lake erie. the city says it first found elevated levels on friday night, trucks are bringing water from other parts of the state, until the the crisis is over. >> because it is good to have water, you don't appreciate it, you don't know about it until you don't have it. >> you cannot cook, it is just hell. >> reporter: this farmer is also trying to help. >> we have loaded our tank on the truck and brought down some well water.

fun of him. >> reporter: positive solutions hasn't delivered goldie and hillard's don't necessity where she is. we have been trying to get a hold of positive service dog solution goes and reached out to the executive director but when we were called we were met with just a message. >> if you leave a message we will not be returning messages until next tuesday. in the meantime if you leave a message recording positive solutions you can do so with our attorney. >> reporter: we spoke to their attorney who told us positive solutions is looking to file important bankruptcy. >> you ask people to help you when you have a sick kid because you need to, and we asked them some good faith, it is embarrassing because i felt like i should have known, but i didn't know. >> reporter: we have learn 20 families are suing positive solutions for delivering dogs that weren't trained, or not delivering them, at all. >> and that was jeff reporting from our sister station kcbs in los angeles. also in california, home
