was found dead. "eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry joins us from police headquarters and what is the latest, same, good morning. >> reporter: police are continuing to investigate as the northeast neighborhood is on edge, this is after the body of a wife and mother of two was discovered just hours after being reported missing. now victim had been identified as 46 user old connie maclean murray. her body was found near a cemetery at holmes and convent avenue. police say she went for a jog in penny pack park at 9:00 monday night. her family called police around midnight when she to not return home. her body was discovered by tuesday morning. the sources tell "eyewitness news" there were signs of the struggle month. man may have been beaten and strangled. detectives are now urging joggers to be careful if they are heading out this morning. >> you should use extra caution, women out there jogging or walking they should be with them for protection, just until we found out what went on.

looks like a p.m. issue, afternoon evening time frame. jumping back to yesterday we made it, it hit 90 degrees on the nose yesterday at philadelphia international and that does make it 15th day so far this year that we have seen that happen where we hit at least 90. average number of 90-degree days that we find during the year is 23. we have catching up to do here. lets look at current temperatures far cry from 90, it will be in the mid to upper 80's around the board here today in advance of the front but we will stand anywhere from the 50's to the the lower 70's. we have a variety pack depending on your location this morning. cooler to the outlining suburbs as is typical. there will be showers or storms to dodge later today. a lot of times icons can make it look better or worse then it will be. poconos that is what is going on here. do i think it will be scattered what you find out there today. 78 degrees is your expect high. lower 80's down the shore where we will to deal with the

stronger surf or rip current issue and that is thanks to bertha so close to the shoreline but it is thankfully staying out to sea. problem is it is residual impacts that we get n philadelphia we will go for 8 degrees starting with the sun, and eventually a shower or a storm will also fire up, primarily it looks like an afternoon or evening concern. bob, over to you. good morning 5:34 on a wednesday morning. we are off to a good start. road dry, light volume so far. some of the construction crews are still picking up cones as they call it a night but they were busy here on the schuylkill expressway last night. we will see a change coming into downtown philadelphia on the eastbound schuylkill expressway they have paved the two right lanes between spring garden and 30th street but leaving that left lane and the ramps to the vine street expressway, still with that unpaved surface. there is a speed bump as you change lanes and beware of that, that will cause slow downs i guarantee it coming into philadelphia for morning rush hour.

yesterday, evening, we will put things in motion though and take a closer look at what is happening here and is what left of the storm. it is pulling away. you can see that turn to the north east and as this storm pull as way to the north east, more of a delayed reaction when it comes to the rip current risk and what i mean is those ocean swells radiate away from the storm so it takes extra time until it starts to really affect our shoreline but with that said it is not bigger waves or stronger surf but rip current risk. with bertha pulling away risk is high today, not just at the immediate shoreline but maybe in the bay area. please keep that in mind if you take boat out, go for a swim, make sure thaw are very safe in doing so and anytime you go in the water we advice you do so by life guard. it is just a smart thing to do. here's the live neighborhood network. it looks relatively calm right

now outside at margate city and beach patrol headquarters but sometimes looks can be deceiving when it comes to rip currents. make sure you look for different color to the water, a channel of choppy water to indicate a rip current and secure life guard they will spot it. meanwhile you're witness weather seven day forecast we have a cold front crossing through today. lesser issue. couple scattered showers and storms late in the day and then out of here. it does leave behind three days straight have of wall to wall sunshine, low humidity, in middle on's, doesn't get better than. that. 5:45. live look, at the platt bridge just from our airport camera, in problems or delays but you can see volume popping here up and over the span. they have knock speed limit from 45 down to 35 miles an hour across the span, i-95 to the left and right there no problems at all. we are in good shape out toward the airport. live look at blue route, 476, macdade boulevard, headlights northbound, no problems here

heading south down toward 95 and eventually heading to the airport. out of the north east i-95 looking good from woodhaven to downtown, starting to see volume build at girard through the construction zone. schuylkill looking good but keep in mind with that uneven pavement between spring garden and 30th street as they continue the paving operation. i got off the horn with septa, signal problems on the paoli thorndale regional rail and amtrak signal problems setting paoli line back about 15 minutes on the inbound trains, the first train will in the leave thorndale until 5:50 this morning. so that will set us back 15 minutes for everybody coming in center city, natasha, back over to you. communities all around the area came together for 20th anniversary of national nice out. >> evesham township police department hosted free activities for the entire family.
