4:31 am
i still have short sleeves on. wow, i'm liking it. people are just waking up maybe they slept with the windows opened last night, it feels good outside. it will be another couple of days, very similar to this where dew points stay low. there is a very little will baby hiccup as a secondary cold front crossing the region today that could bring you a a quick shower maybe a few that clouds but that is it. then we are in for a couple really nice days as a result of this more dry air mass that is settling in. so pretty decent weather come our way, eventually it does have to go back downhill, i'll tell you when next more significant batch is heading our way but for now, back over to you. breaking news right now a shooting out identify a peace concert in philadelphia's fairmount park leaves a man dead. >> burst of the gunfire kick off beginning of the very violent night, in the city. 4:32 am
violence breaks out of all places right outside a peace concert. that shooting left one person dead. concert was meant to send a message to stop the shootings. hours after that incident couple other shootings took place in the it i leaving three others injury. the it was a real event night in the city first shooting happened at an anti violence event in fairmount park. the there was a peace concert held at dell music center when hots were fire. man in his 20's was hi in the torso and thigh. he was taken to temple university hospital where he was pronounced dead. president was called philly support philly, peace on the streets. >> there was about 600 people in attendance at the concert, the concert ironically, was a peace concert. >> reporter: later two teens were injured during the the shooting on tenth and bainbridge, it happened around 11:30. one was hit three times in the leg, other was hit once in the heel. both 18 years old were taken to jeff on and remain in stable condition.

arrests have been made in these incidents. we are live at police headquarters i am a chowdhry for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". right now just past 4:33 lets get back to katee and our fall temperatures. >> really nice start to the morning. crystal clear view on sky cam three. looking live over atlantic city, everything all lit up nice and bright and very easy to see. that is the other key here. a lot of days, so far at least in recent weeks we have had low lying cloud cover, shrouding the the tops of the casinos, really dreary, this morning is in the one of those days. beautiful start. kind of cool. lets go next to storm scan three and you can understand why. when we have cloud cover during the the the day it can limit the amount of warming that goes on but when we have cloud cover at night it keeps you warm, we don't have any. that means temperatures have had a chance to drop off readily here with high pressure very briefly taking the lead but problem is we do still have residual, secondary frontal boundary that will sweep through here and not
4:35 am
only knock temperatures back but could bring a shower later in the day. we are clear as a bell and temperatures dropped off and reflect that here. allentown you are 13 degrees cooler then this same time yesterday, not quite as noticeable as a change in terms of temperature at the airport but you can tell that it feels less humid out there notice wind are basically out of the west northwest at this point, we are at 66 degrees at the the airport. much cooler by comparison. when we have a northwest breeze it might feel chilly to. we are only at 55 degrees. day as a whole looks good. other than just a very straight sprinkle, i kind of want to minimize that potential do you not need an umbrella but that front will bring a sprinkle it is caterd in nature, over to you. 4:35. live look at work crew is still out there making up for lost day with the the rain yesterday, this is 202, approaching the the the schuylkill expressway, they have been fixing all of the potholes, mainly up the center
4:36 am
and left and center lanes here but right the now at least, this morning as you head out the front door only this one lane is opened, north on 202. out philadelphia, they are working there all night as well, this is the westbound schuylkill expressway right here near vare avenue you can see this one lane pattern, squeezing in right here near passyunk, oregon and schuylkill where it all comes together. on the maps on the atlantic city expressway a down tree eastbound right at berlin cross keys roadblocking one of the two lanes an accident on route one northbound in pendell right at hulmeville road one vehicle there left the roadway. so there is police and crews on the scene and working eastbound on the pennsylvania turnpike between fort washington and bensalem. mass transit looking good with no delays, ukee, back over to you. another night of violence in the ferguson missouri after police shooting death of an unarm teenager.
4:37 am
police fired tear gas and smoke bombs at protesters after some people lobbed molotov cocktails and other objects at police. ferguson's police chief says the investigation of the death of the 18 year-old michael brown could take weeks to complete. let's go. >> we've got videotape, grab our stuff and go. >> reporter: this was the shot by washington post just before one of the reporters and one of the huffing ton post say police, detain them. they say they didn't leave quickly enough from a fast food restaurant where they were working on stories. police released both without filing charges. both say they were assaulted but mountain seriously hurt. coverage of the events in ferguson struck a nerve when readers of the philadelphia daily news, tweeted this as a front page of this morning's paper. negative reader feedback prompted the newspaper to reconsider, hours later the daily news retweeted aid revised front page with a new picture. this is what you will see as
