out coming up, bob. good morning, it is thursday, we are looking good looking live at the the schuylkill expressway coming in towards south street here, in problems on the schuylkill. we will check rest of the road and mass transit, coming up next, ukee and erika, good morning. >> updating breaking news a deadly shooting outside a peace concert kicks off an extremely violent night in philadelphia. >> "eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry joins us at police headquarters with the very latest information, syma, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, that is right, violence breaks out right outside of a peace concert. now that shooting leaves one man dead, the concert was meant to send a message to stop the shooting. hours later other shootings took place throughout the city leaving three people injured. it was a violent night in the city, first shooting happened at an anti violence event in fairmount park, there was a peace concert held at dell music enter when shots were fired. man in his 20's was hit in the torso and thigh and taken to

temple university hospital where he was pronounced dead. event was called philly supports philly, peace on the streets. >> there was about 600 people in attendance at the concert, the concert ironically was a peace concert. >> reporter: later two teens were injured during a shooting on tenth and bainbridge, it happened around 11:30. one was hit three times in the leg, other was hit once in the heel. both 18 years olds were taken to jefferson and remain in stable condition. three cars were hit with bullets during the shooting. police are hoping surveillance camera at a nearby business will help them catch the shooter. >> we are getting a description as one male wearing a dark hooded wet shirt and queens who possibly fled south on tenth street. >> reporter: earlier a man was hot nine times in his apartment, that happened around 12:30 on the 4500 block of buy veer, ten shots were fired in the apartment, at the time there were three other adults and one toddler. the 28 year-old victim was hit

multiple times in the torso chest and both legs. he was taken to einstein hospital in critical but stable condition. police don't know the motive but say drugs were found in the apartment, police are now looking for three suspects who fled on foot. >> detective are also at einstein hospital and they will talk to our victim as soon as he is done being work on by doctors. >> reporter: again, one person was killed right outside of a peace concert, three others injured and other shootings. those three are in stable condition this morning and so far no arrests have been made in these incidents. we are live at police headquarters, syma chowdhry for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". it was another violent night in suburban st. louis where people are, upset, following the shooting of an unarmed black teenager. michelle, has more on the protests.

police in ferguson, missouri, launched tear gas at the protesters for a fourth night after a crowd became unrulely. dozens of people were out again to protest shooting death of 18 year-old michael brown. >> we just said hands up don't shoot. >> reporter: earlier the police said, asked protesters to confine their demonstration is today light hours. they responded with peaceful marches but stepses are still running high. on wednesday police took two journalist into custody at a ferguson mcdonald's, washington post reporter wesley lowery videotape the incident as it happened. officers in swat gear told him and huffing ton post reporter brian riley to leave. >> evidently i was than the moving quickly enough and both of us were arrested. >> reporter: both were released, no charges were filed. people in ferguson are still demanding to know the identity of the officer who killed brown, on saturday. witnesses a unarmed teen's
