bob. 5:00 o'clock straight up on a wednesday, live look at the roosevelt boulevard. they are still doing paving up in the northeast and we will check rest of the roads and mass transit coming up next, ukee, good morning. our breaking news, search is on for two suspects wanted in a brazen heist at a philadelphia food distribution center. >> investigators say men were armed and posing as police officers. "eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry joins us at that scene in fishtown where investigators are looking at a possibility of an inside job, syma, good morning. >> reporter: that is right, that is a possibility they are looking into. i spoke with chief inspector scott small a little will while ago and he says this seems to be a little bit of a location is too random to be hit randomly. so they are looking into the the possibility this was some sort of a previous employee's, current employees, someone that knew the owners but this is what we know so far. two men that came here impersonated police officers,

knock on the steel door and demanded owners open up. once they did robbers pointed the guns to their head and made them open up a safe containing two bags filled with a hundred thousand dollars. this all happened around 2:15 when owners were getting ready to open for business. both men had baseball caps on that had word police on it. one was possibly wearing a badge around his neck. at the time of the robbery there was another employee inside who hid from the armed men. when detectives arrived owners were shaken up but thankfully not injured. there was a language barrier so an interpreter had to come in. police say gunman tried to dismantle the wear house security system after taking the money but they failed to break the security cameras and now detectives have have been reviewing the surveillance video. >> cameras clearly recorded them. then they went into another room where the safe is, cameras were also, in that room several angles. so these individuals were captured on severaltive rent angles which is always a

benefit in our investigation. >> police plan on giving the media that video. of course as soon as we get it we will pass it to you. police also said two robbers drove off in a black suv, probably a chevy trail blazer with a flashing light on the dashboard, again, trying to i am person nate police officials. live from fishtown syma chowdhry for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". also breaking news we have live look as crews search for a person in the schuylkill river. investigators tell cbs-3 at least within person is in the water. no word yet on how that person ended up there. the search continues, near st. joes prep boat house and strawberry mansion bridge. we will continue to follow this story and bring you more details throughout the morning. police are investigating a shooting that left a teenager dead in the north philadelphia play ground. it happened around 8:30 last night on the 2400 block have of north ninth street. police say a 17 year-old boy was shot multiple times on the

way out the front door. lets check out our major roadways as we say good morning to i-95. heading down towards the airport this morning just watch crews are still out pushing everybody over to the right. you can see cones in the background but not causing too much delay. we have to hit the brakes rolling south. in problems here on 202 in the work zone right here near 29 rolling northbound again light volume so far this morning. they are working on the roosevelt boulevard that paving operation northbound inner drive between third street all the way up to through tyson avenue. they made it up to tyson so far this week until 6:00 we will see restrictions. big day for a parade, taney dragons. we will kick it off at 2:20 and market, rolling over to city hall, wrap around and then go down broad street to fdr park. now during the course of the parade septa bus routes will be on a detour so at 1:30 buses on market street will be detoured and at 2:00 the bus's

the incident sparked protest nationwide ape prompted an fbi investigation. israeli police stepped up their search for a new jersey student who went missing during a hike in jerusalem. that student was from lakewood, new jersey. twenty-three year-old aaron sofer was reported missing on friday. his parents flew to israel over the weekend and the fbi met with his family yesterday in lakewood. meantime local politicians, religious leaders and family members are calling on the u.s. and israeli g for help. >> please, bring back my brother, everyone should do everything they could to bring him back and bring him back in good health. >> reporter: current israeli palestinian conflict ignited in june with the abduction and murder of israeli teens in the west bank. officials say area where sofer disappeared from is within miles from the spot where palestinian teen was found dead in early july. as crews search a cease-fire between israel and hamas appears to be holding strong.

we're continuing to follow two breaking news stories, police say two men got away with a hundred you this dollars from a fishtown food distribute center. investigators say that the men were wearing hats that said police and at least one had a badge around his neck. this gives you a live will from the schuylkill river long kelly drive. police are searching for at least one person in the water, it is in the clear what exactly happened but we will keep you up to date as we will learn more and it comes in the news room. 5:13. here's traffic and weather together, katie. good morning in, high pressure is on your side here today but now we are seeing this next trough again, in other words a dip in the jet stream that will be accompanied by a cold front, more than anything that is front, doesn't have a lot of juice as i like to call it. we are going to see humidity creep up on us here but because it is some what weakening as it rolls in we will see a spotty shower or storm out of it and this will be it.

in addition to that we are still, of course, tracking a hurricane cristobal still churning as a category one hurricane right now, out at sea. it is going to make its closest path to our region tomorrow especially but it is helping to get this surf chopped up on our air use shore points w that said rip current risk is elevated throughout the rest of this week. what looks like an awesome beach day and granted, it is if you are staying on land can definitely become more dangerous as soon as you step in the waves and with the heat building you will be tempt todd do that. if you venture in the water, would i say make sure you do it near life guard or just stay on shore. that is rip current risk we are dealing with here and choppy surf too. pollen report as you might imagine levels are high. we have in the had a lot of rain and whatever may come in tonight it is very, very just whimpy. we are not seeing much to wash anything away next couple days. with that said been gets an excuse to not mow lawn next few days.

tragedy at a gun range in arizona. a nine year-old girl accidentally shoots her instructor. this video is taken just moments before the shooting. the man there was teaching the girl how to fire a sub machine gun when she pulled the trigger though the gun recoiled and bullet hit the instructor. police say in laws were broken but gun range has already change its rules so you have

to be at least 12 years old to fire a gun. also new this morning a photographer for reality show cops is shot during a gun battle in omaha. show's crew was following police when they responded to a robbery at a wendy a's restaurant. police killed the suspect during a shoot-out and photographer was also hit by a bullet. he is in critical condition this morning. hero or hoax, college football player's dramatic rescue story is raising some new questions this morning. u.s.c. cornerback josh shaw said he sprain both angles saturday night while saving his seven year-old nephew from drowning. shaw told the school he jumped from the second story balcony when he saw the boy struggling and then crawl to the pool to save him. now u.s.c. says it received calls that shaw's story may in the be true. >> i would be shock if it were the case that josh had made this up. he is a a very good boy. >> i have no reason, no history to not believe josh and his story and what has
