last, i will have that answer in the next few. >> thank you. we have some breaking news this morning a driver is killed while trying to escape a hail of gunfire. it happened in north philadelphia. >> victim crashed in the abandon home causing the building to partially collapse on top have of its car. "eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry is live to tell us more, syma. >> reporter: homicide detectives are investigating after a man was shot multiple times in a car and crashed into an abandon home. police say a man in the 2008 hyundai was shot multiple times before he slammed in an abandon house with bricks crashing down on the car. now it happened around midnight on the 1600 block of sever street, 18 shell casings were found 100 feet west of the crash site. once first responders pulled a man out of the car they noticed he was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene. he was shot once in the face, twice in the left shoulder and twice in the back. rescue crews had had a

difficult time pulling the victim out of the car because of the debris. >> hundreds of the brick in the front of the building collapsed on to this vehicle, fire department paramedics and police had to struggle to get this unconscious male out of the driver's seat of the vehicle they pulled him out through passenger side window because vehicle was so heavily covered with bricks and debris. >> l and i was here at the scene because home is now considered a hazard. the victim has in the been identified but he is in his 20's or 30's. several nearby businesses and homes had surveillance camera. police are hoping to review that in hopes of identifying the the shooter. we are live, syma chowdhry for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". syma, thank you. 4:33. let get back to katie a and hear her about our forecast. >> our forecast is looking thighs out there. the only difference is our wind flow has shifted and we will see more refreshing air mass take over. it is breezy out there it feels very comfortable,

however. even though we may start off with a little bit of humidity out there that will be deminute wishing time. storm scan three is empty once again as high pressure will regain control throughout the day. because we are dealing with the separation of pressure basically, sort of that gradient that can set up like a wind tunnel through city sky scrapers. if you are walking down broad street on a little bit of the breezy day it can be down right windy between sky scrapers because we get that gradient in between those tall buildings. that is what will happen. we are not talking a windy dau but it will be breezy. seventy-seven is still the temperature at philly international. very mild start across the the board here. further are north it has started to cool down under more clearing skies and our wind flow has, in fact, shifted more northerly. we are going to start to see a little bit more of the leveling off. don't expect that we will spike on the thermometer here today even though we are off to a real mild start. we will get to the mid 80's as cooler air takes over. it is less humid.

despite it being gorgeous down at the shore you have to watch out for that rough surf and rip current issue that will continue today and make sure you always swim near a life guard, bob, good morning. >> good morning. thursday, 4:35. we are picking up cones here on i-95. overnight work. the these construction guys they have been loving nice temperatures overnight getting a lot of work done. time to clean things up before we get in the labor day weekend. no problems up and down i-95, pass philly international. ben franklin bridge coming into downtown philadelphia light volume. there is only three rains opened during the morning rush hour. usually close to 8:00 is when we start to see that backup heading in to philadelphia. so trying to plan that trip accordingly. willow grove easton road is block between fitzwater town and maryland road just outside willow grove here because of some gas line repairs. traffic diverted on to either york road or welsh road for first half of the morning rush hour. they are still working on the 42 freeway.

southbound on the ramps to 295 north one lane blocked for another half an hour or so as part of the bellmawr interchange construction and south on the new jersey turnpike again work crews right here near burlington mount holly interchange. patco off to a good start this morning. remember they have a new schedule they are working off of this morning. ukee, back over to you. new this morning police in northeast philadelphia are investigating an overnight shooting that left one man dead. authority searched for clues on the 4300 block of pen pen street in frankford. police found one man with the gunshot to the head just after midnight. there is no word on a motive for shooting as police continue to search for leads. we are still awaiting to find out why a husband shot his wife to death inside a south jersey hospital and then turn the gun on himself. authorities say six three-year old raymond wychowanec murdered his wife denise inside kennedy university hospital room yesterday. the couple's adult son ryan was later found dead inside the family's glendora home.

family's neighbors told eye witt the necessary news that denise suffered from chronic medical problems and was often needing use of a wheelchair. >> my initiates reaction was total shock and horrified. i could not believe he could do something like that. >> he was always friendly just a regular guy. it is hard to believe, very hard to believe. >> raymond wychowanec remains in critical condition at cooper university hospital. we have new information on a story "eyewitness news" broke yesterday morning. philadelphia police say the killings of two men found in the schuylkill river are drug-related. a third man managed to make it out and then waved down help on kelly drive. police say they were abduct, shoved in the van, tortured and then tossed in the river to die. >> their hand and feet were bound. their eyes were covered. they were stabbed multiple times. two of the three their throats were slit and then thrown in the schuylkill river. one of the more barbaric murders i have seen.

welshing while you are on the road this weekend police will be there too cracking down on drunk drivers. hundreds of police departments across pennsylvania are taking part in the drive sober or get pulled over campaign. it is a mix of roving patrols and dui checkpoints. there were 11,000 alcohol-related crashes in a pennsylvania and 3200 drug related crashes. nine deaths occurred just over labor day weekend. in philadelphia labor day weekend means the made in america music festival on the ben franklin parkway. the two day festival will kick off at 2:00 o'clock saturday afternoon. festival features 50 performers including kanye west, ferrell williams just to name a couple. accommodate the venue construction, road closures and detowers around the festival area and extra

pattern where yeah there is no immediate or direct impact to the shoreline but we have had dangerous rip current and rough surf issue all week. that is really the only issue that we have today. little breeze kicks in, sun will shine, lovely looking day for everybody, that high risk remains for rip currents. i was you can go to a producer, jen and she said at the shore they are not letting people go in more than knee deep or thigh high. the here's y with that rip current risk you will get pulled out. that is what you don't want obviously, very difficult to break out of that. always swim near a life guard, you can look for channel of choppy water, a different color to the water or break in the wave pattern. those are visual signs of the rip current, otherwise swim parallel to the shoreline if you get stuck and then you can make your way back to the shore. today though again beautiful, turning breezy, high hits 84 with that sun. we will drop down to 61 tonight. maybe did you put air conditioning on last night, i

emergency crews got him out of the car that crashed into a building on sayburt street. police found 18 shell casings a hundred yards away. police say six three-year old raymond wychowanec killed his wife inside kennedy university hospital yesterday afternoon. the couple's son was later found shot to death inside the couple's camden county home. wychowanec return the gun on himself and he is in critical condition right now. updating for you an breaking news from yesterday morning police say murders of at least two men were drug related. the men were found stabbed, bound with duct tape in the schuylkill river. another manmade it out but remains in critical condition right now. your time 4:50. lets get a check of business. >> money watch's jill wagner joins us from the new york stock exchange. we're hearing fbi is investigating cyber attacks on jp morgan chase and other banks too, what can you tell us. >> reporter: yeah, that is right. there are reports that russian hackers may have retallied against u.s. banks and their
