5:31 am
take a look at this, never actually seen one of these in person. if you can guess what this is, do you have look back up over my left shoulder. part of this traffic light that's come down, the traffic light again bent over by this tractor trail their just left in the wake every destruction that is went through, slammed into the side of this house, the bricks just kind of fell down, as it slammed in there. thankfully, nobody was home. but the scene was incredible last night. take a look at the video. 7:15, last night, the mayfair section here, here's what police say happened. a ford suv going through a red light, just doesn't stop, slams into the back of that tractor-trailer, at farnsworth and levick streets. the suv again into the trailer, the trailer crossed the street, trail or into the home, the bricks fall from the home as it slams right into the side of that home. thankfully again nobody home. small children, who live in

5:36 am
city line avenue. so a lot of activity. see the cars passing? so if you are using the schuylkill, you are good to go, just passing probably brake tap to see what's going on, but here is the alternate. if you are coming south on the roosevelt boulevard, your best bet is to exit at the kelly drive, make a right, and that will put you back on the westbound schuylkill so good to go there. however, if you don't do that, you are going have to come east on the schuylkill, flip a u-turn, at montgomery drive, and work your way back hopefully they can get this cleaned up and at least one lane open before we start to see a lot of volume for a morning rush hour, construction out here in south jersey, as they're wrapping things up, before the holiday weekends, on 295, both directions, near the 42 freeway. otherwise, the bridges look fine, and mass transit running with no delays. erika, back to you. >> half million low income pennsylvanians will now have access to federally funded health insurance. >> approved the plan after months every negotiations,

5:44 am
irene set a record rainfall amount of 11.27 inches. and it came through just several years ago i remember it well because i was packing up to come here with you guys, packing up from long island. crazy time, that's all i can say, seriously, husband at home trying to pack up the house and i'm just stuck on an island covering a hurricane. really nutty weekend. let's go next to storm scan3, no hurricanes in site right now, guys, but of course still tracking cristobal, actually well out to the northeast at this point. but still, churning up that surf for us right now. so, we have to worry about moderate risk for rip current with the wave action still, again, moderately high. and then we look ahead to the next couple of days, eventually we start to see the next storm system brewing out here, actually already brewing, brinking in heavy rounds of rain, right around the del as metroplex. this will all eventually move our way. so couple of days of real nice weather before that happens.
5:45 am
meantime headed out to the beaches, it is sunny, it is warm, it is a nice day. seventy-seven, degrees, at the shore, but again, watch out for the rip countries beingment bob, you can guarantee it will be a-plus kind of week for you here, beautiful weather, cool morning, fantastic afternoon, that's an a-plus if i ever saw it. soap, well done, well done, you. next couple of days, heating it up by sunday next shower or storm chance makes a return to the forecast. bob, over to you. >> sister laverne would be proud. >> sure would. >> a's all week so far. first week of school. >> not bad, man. >> we can only go downhill from here, though, flight. >> probably. >> all going down. here is the closure map, gang, for the made in america concert that's happening here in center city. the yellow lines indicate the roads that will be closed. we got the parkway, the kelly drive, martin luther king drive. no access into and out of the city. so, basically going to stay with the schuylkill expressway, and the vine expressway, if you are coming into or crossing town through the weekend. for the gang from the neighborhood, the same deal.
5:46 am
you want to work your way over to the vine expressway back near 15th, 16th street, and then just use 676 in and out of the city. again, factor in some extra time, certainly going to be a loft extra volume here through the weaken. here is a live look at the overturned tractor-trailer we've been dealing with all morning long, it is on the ramp from the schuylkill expressway to city line avenue. so here is the alternate. if you are coming down the roosevelt boulevard, first of all disable bus in this delay here, but you want to exit for the kelly drive at the bottom of the ramp make the ride it will give you access to the schuylkill and be on your way. otherwise forced to come into the city on the eastbound schuylkill, flip a u-turn at montgomery drive and be back on your way headed west. again, it is not impacting the westbound lanes of the schuylkill >> word is miley's date is no
