that fall hint in the air just yet but we have changes heading our way throughout the weekend. i will look at you have forecast in just a couple minutes. we will see if the roads are heating up. good morning, vittoria. >> not just yet i feel like we are waiting on it. as soon as that beautiful sunshine comes up, rush comes in. it is a beautiful ride. nothing to speak of. a few overnight project i-95 around vine street expressway. everything is moving smoothly but that will definitely change later on. however in my report we will talk about those overnight construction project. police in olney make a shocking discovery. >> body found inside a burning car. "eyewitness news" reporter jane carabao joins us from police headquarters where authorities are working more to learn about the victim, good morning. >> reporter: good morning ukee and erika. right now this victim is treated as a john dough he was so badly burned. it was a gruesome discovery made in the olney section of philadelphia and made by philadelphia police officers who spotted this smoking and burning car.

they called the fire department to put it out and that is when they have found the body. still a lot of unanswered questions this morning, who is this man, how did he end up in the burning car and is his death related to another crime that happened blocks away. philadelphia police say they found this body inside this burning car wednesday night just before 8:00 o'clock on the 6100 block of north lawrence street. the man was found on the passenger side of a black mitsubishi galante and was pronounced dead at the scene. police say this man may have been a victim of the shooting that happened three blocks away earlier in the day. police had been investigating a shooting in the 400 block of roselyn street reported around 4:00 in the have afternoon. no victim was found at that time but eyewitnesses on roselyn street described seeing that very same car, discovered more than three and a half hours later engulfed in flames. >> they said that there was a male, sitting in the passenger seat of a black mitsubishi who had been shot in the head. and, the driver drove off.

he drove off east on roselyn street. >> reporter: is what unclear who shot that victim and whether the man who was found this that burned carries indeed the same person. the medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to try to determine the id and the cause and manner of the death. in the meantime no arrests in this case just yet. there was a heavy set man seen running away from north lawrence street away from that burning car but no indication just yet if or how he is related to these incidents. reporting live, jane carabao, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". right now 5:33. lets get back to kate and get our forecast. >> good morning, everyone. nice day underway already even though it is still kind of dark outside. once the sun comes up we will see it today. it will be sunny, warm and really pleasant if you don't mind a little bit of summer-like heat. temperatures in the 80's this afternoon. lets take a quick look at storm scan three showing a couple showers to the south

we have a developing story this morning. philadelphia police are

investigating a discovery of a body found in the burning koran lawrence street in olney. they say that it could be link to a deadly shooting nearby earlier in the night. fast food workers calling for a raise in the minimum wage will demonstrate across the country today. in philadelphia they will march from the mcdonald's at broad and girard to broad and arch later this morning. and live picture new from the new dilworth park, not a plaza, across from philadelphia city hall. old dilworth plaza has been renovated with greenery, fountain and cafe, folks getting stuff ready. ribbon cutting set for 11:00 o'clock this morning. of all of the escaped snakes stories over the years this one may be most scary. we are talk about an albino cobra on the lose in southern california. the poisonous 5-foot long cobra was spotted over the holiday week men thousand oaks. officials are very concerned because it has bitten a dog on the net. k-9 was rush to the hospital and we understand is doing
