. shooting in south philadelphia queen village leaves a woman fighting for her life, it happened about 10:00 last night inside the unit at court ants, fifth street near washington avenue. police say the 32 year old shot twice in her face and arm at point blank range. she was rushed to the hospital in very critical condition. police say the inside of the apartment was a very chaotic scene. the first floor, as well as the second floor, there was a sign of a violent struggle. we fawn furniture overturned, furniture broken, several flat screen tv's pulled from their stands, and pulled from the wall. and in broken condition on the floor. so far, no arrests but right now authorities are considering the victim's live in boyfriends a person of there. also, developing right now, a man is rushed to the hospital in critical condition

after an early morning stabbing in north philadelphia. "eyewitness news" on the scene of the 3600 block of north broad street. eyewitnesses cents say that a 38 year old man was stabbed once in the chest inside a store, so far, no arrest haves been made. and, more violence overnight claims the life after teenager in north philly. officers on patrol heard multiple gunshots coming from the 2400 block of huntington street. that is where they found a 17 year old shot once in the chest. he was pronounced dead at the hospital. detectives counted at least 19 bullet casings. they're now checking surveillance cameras in the area hoping to get a look at the shooter. good morning, i'm erika von tiehl. >> i'm ukee washington, more fall out from the newly-released video we showed you yesterday of nfl start ray rice knocking his then fiancee unconscious inside atlantic city hotel elevator. >> suspended him back, and the baltimore ravens cut him from the team. sat center with more on this, jan? >> erika, ukee, heads coach of the ravens said he hadn't seen this video until just yesterday and that changed yesterday. now ray rice finds himself released from the ravens suspended indefinately from the nfl. this is the video from "tmz" sports, shows rice getting into a confrontation with then fiancee janaa palmer. the pair walk into elevator at revel hotel and casino in atlantic city. once inside he appears to shove her, hits her, knocking her out with a punch to the face. as the video continues, rice is seen dragging the woman from the elevator, shows no immediate signs of trying to get help. palmer married rice weeks after this february incident. at first the nfl only suspended rice for two games, but after seeing this video, the ravens released him from their contract, and the nfl

cars were swept away by rushing waters. phoenix recorded its single day record for rainfall. meanwhile, cooler weather ws slowed the spread of wild fire in yosemite national park. it helps the helicopter evacuation of dozens of people from the famous half dome rock. about 120 firefighters, 11 aircraft, fighting those flames. embers of fire sparked by lightning several weeks ago apparently started that fire. >> so so much rain in the southwest, we seeing any today. >> definitely going to see some today, but based on where are you, what you are going to find out, there and much like yesterday, the further northwest you are, the nicer it will be but little different scenario here today. more winds today, as go closer to the shore, and definitely better shot for some pretty steady rain. this is like right on the edge, once again, with this very same storm system. but now the storm actually close enough, actually will be bringing most substantial

impact. you go outside, pretty obvious. very soaking rain, very big batch of it, actually now moving out to sea from the delmarva, the carolina coastline there, but as far as we're concerned, again, we sort of just get clipped by it. so, you might get lucky enough to not even see drop of rain. your best likelihood for that is to go further north and west, from philly on southeast, though, that basically be the best shot for some showers, even some steady rain, so extra batch that just started to fire up around norfolk, virginia, that's very likely clipping at least sussex county, in delaware. so we just have to monitor the radar, expect, that i would say, the further southeast you are, you may want to think about taking the bream a with you when you hit the road. once this gets out of here, we catch a break. talking about the flooding out in the southwest, area of low pressure gathering up some strength, then another frontal boundary eventually moves in. check it out. snow up in canada. it is cents that time of year. that's actually going to be our next front. no snow, though, so don't worry about that. let's look what's going on

>> good morning, everyone out there. just probably waking up or headed out the moore just the next couple every minutes. 4:53, going outside right now on the blue route. where you can see overnight work, this is just near broomall. so it is headed northbound towards the schuylkill expressway. not a lot of volume to speak of. not setting anybody back as of yet. they should be removing this, shortly, and you can see, if you zoom outright there, not much to really speak of. but over to the right-hand side where everybody seems to be crawling on by. over on 95, just near the airport, headed northbound pretty much the same situation there. northbound where the heads lights are coming in. that's headed toward the airport, as women. so they're compromising the right lanes, and everybody squeezing on by to the left hand shoulder. now, an earlier accident out in lansdale, actually created a road closure. some downed wires, pretty much taking up the entire morning. allentown road completely closed at ryan earth road. at in a take tomlinson road to get around. that will some overnight work out in northeast philly, as well, the roosevelt boulevard, headed northbound near red
