executive in april. we are trying to find out if that agency, or the agency the official is with but we do know he told the ap he received a voice mail from someone at the nfl confirming the video had arrived and they had seen it. however, law enforcement official can't confirm if anyone did actually watch the video. now this comes 24 hours after roger goodell told cbs news nora o'donnell that the league was never able to obtain the the video. this official as he wanted the nfl to see it before it could decide on rice's punishment. all this with ray rice puts spotlight squarely on the problem of domestic violence in this country. just hours after the video first aired two hash tags started trending on twitter, one why i stayed, the other why i left. tonight "eyewitness news" anchor pat ciarrocchi takes a closer look at this outpouring of first hand accounts. >> reporter: grain i surveillance from the revel casino elevator has prompted an outpouring, especially from

"eyewitness news" reporter walt hunter is in west deptford to show thus video tonight, walt. >> reporter: it happened along the track behind me and when you look at video of that impact you talk to the eyewitnesses here that heard the crash, saw the suv being dragged down the tracks, it is truly amazing that the women behind the wheel survived with what police are saying is non-life threatening injuries. video shows the suv slammed by the freight train at the crown point road crossing, the vehicle pushed along the tracks for 60 yards. >> under the kitchen and heard this big boom, like a pop actually like a pop. >> reporter: fortunately neighbors say following the impact something caused the suv to flip out from underneath the engine sliding on to a nearby street before it was totally crushed by the train which rumbled on for

another 200 yards before it could be stopped. >> the fire company, they got her in the ambulance in that time. >> reporter: mike raymond and other neighbors who ran to help said they were grateful to see the driver, vehicles only occupant was responsive as she was rescued and rush to the hospital. >> it could have been a whole lot worse, whole lot worse, yeah, that woman was quite fortunate. >> reporter: police now say warning devices were fully operational, when the train, like this one, came to the crossing. >> the flashers there on crown point and river road were activated from what we were told and from what we're gathering she tried to beat the train. extremely fortunate. it could have rolled the car, as of right now she was taken to cooper hospital for her injuries. >> reporter: conrail officials responding to our inquiries, say that all crossing device -- all crossing gate devices were working properly
