anniversary as country pause toes remember 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attack. ground zero ceremony will remember to honor victims. the national september 11th museum, will be opened on the observance of this day, moment of silence will be held at the white house, pentagon, and in shanksville. in camden county thousands of american flags filled this field at the monument. each flag has the the name of one of the victims both flags will stay there all day long. a live look in lower makefield bucks county. special money will be held there at 7:00 o'clock tonight. "eyewitness news" reporter natasha brown spoke with one of the men being honored for saving strangers, who also suffered a terrible loss that day you don't believe it even after all these years. >> reporter: his recollection of 9/11 is as vivid oz this day as the south tower of the

world trade center came crashing down around him. >> we heard what we thought was a train coming in. it wasn't unusual. it was a big train station hub. but it was building coming down. i said go to sleep, it is over just go to sleep. i have to say it is most i have told people this because it is so true and so important. it was the most peaceful feeling i have ever had. >> reporter: air held in a first responder on 9/11 came out of the ruble dazed but grateful to be alive. his 27 year-old son keith, a member of the insuring fire patrol was still trying to save lives in the north tower when it collapsed nearly 30 minutes later. >> i was hoping for a couple of days. there was so much confusion down there, people were wondering around i said you might be in shock or in a hospital, wasn't able to communicate his name yet to anyone report are report months later arnold return to ground zero to make discovery, recovering his son's body from mounds of debris.

muhler will conduct an independent investigation into what the nfl knew or when. two siblings are in critical condition after a pickup truck slammed into them as they crossed the street in northeast philadelphia a ten year-old girl and her seven year old brother were crossing academy road and byberry road in the crosswalk yesterday afternoon when a driver trying to make a left-hand turn hilt them. other drivers saw the crash and jump out to help the children. >> i threw through my car in park and shut it off and it was sitting in the middle of the street. me and him ran to the kids. that was basically our first concern. >> both children suffered severe head injuries but they are expected to recover. police say the the driver will not be charged. a big policy change for police in new jersey, from now on all departments will be required to have cameras on either inn their new squad cars or on the officers themselves. one of the men behind nut law paul moriarty who was false liz accused of drunk driving.

today is september 11th, 2001 anniversary. observancees planned in our area the a bucks county's garden of reflection as well as ground zero and white house. fire fighters rescued a person earlier today. one person was injured and then taken to the hospital at the university of pennsylvania. the cause of that fire has yet to be determined. and live picture right the now from the oscar pistorius trial in south africa. today judge and attorneys are reviewing charges, pistorius is accused in the shooting

death of his girlfriend on valentines day of 2013, we could learn that verdict, tomorrow. let's get traffic and weather together. i believe we're talking cloud. >> one of the most i am many school weather lessons we get as kids and we have all learned about them but i feel like it is algebra it goes out, you sort of forget bit. how well do you know your clouds. there will be a quiz later as there has been every single day. lets talk about one kind basic building block clouds, cumulus clouds. medium to low in terms of the height, light, puffy they look like cotton balls but then, you start to see the tops of them, firing up and this is where you can say where you get thunderstorm clouds from. they are thunder heads. they form from cumulus clouds, and then they will grow with heating and instability and nimbus means greek god and greek terminal for storm or rain cloud.

you can get a anville resulting from upper level wind flattening out. we are talking about different combinations here this is al to couple rustily is cumulus with higher height patches in the sky, the alto means middle siro cumulus and sometimes you can get a combination with sirus. we have this final one, sira cumulus, i believe. sometimes it looks like mack roles up in the sky. so that is interesting, right. all these different kind of clouds that we can get. then we have sirrus little streaks across the sky you see that on the back edge of systems. lets go next to storm scan and talk about the kinds of clouds. a lot of cumulus clouds out there today because we are tracking some storms. we will see this next cold front coming in and when it does come in it will bring with us heavier thunderstorms. here is your leading edge of the cold front. actual cold front is where you start to see skies clearing out. again the leading edge of cold front as we learned earlier in

will take place later this morning. susan, good morning. >> reporter: well, ukee and erika, ceremonies here start in a couple of hours, when we will start to hear the reading of the thousands of names of the victims, interspersed with six different moments of silence, something we have heard for the past 13 years. here's what is new here the freedom tower, one world trade center near completion, set to open up later this fall and in may museum and plaza surrounding the world trade center site opened to the public. families who lost loved ones on september 11th will gather at the world trade center site to mark the 13th anniversary of the terror attacks. moment of silence will mark exact moments when the plane struck towers as family members will read long list of victim names.
