"eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan is live in mays landing tonight with the details, cleve. >> reporter: we have tried over and over today to speak with the atlantic county prosecutor but he is staying quiet after speaking to a local paper last night. there is some people who question if ray rice's punishment fit the offense. it is not just the the knock out punch that has some people outraged over ray rice's domestic violence case but funnish. , in chance of jail and just a two game suspension. speaking out only to the atlantic city press, prosecutor jim maclean defended his decision to place rice in pretrial intervention. just like it is not just or fair to go easier on somebody to go where they are, neither sit to go heavier on somebody because of who they are. i felt and still feel, disposition was appropriate. in the nfl commissioner goodell said he didn't see elevator video prior to issuing a two game suspension but now that is being questioned by some after an associated press report that the league offices received the video in april from law

officer griffin turn himself into internal affairs earlier today. the nation is pausing to look back on what was one of the country's darkest days. >> a bell sounded ahead of the first moment of silence at the world trade center marking the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. as is tradition, family members read the names of the nearly 3,000 victims. president obama also paid trin boot to those who lost their lives during a ceremony at the pentagon memorial. he was there by the first lady and secretary of defense chuck hagel. families of those who died when american airlines flight 77 crashed in the pentagon were also in attendance. well, hundreds gathered at the flight 93 national memorial in, shanksville, pennsylvania, honoring the 40 passengers and crew who died disrupting the terror group's plot to crash that plane into an unknown target. governor tom corbett expressed to the families the states

about two weeks ago. >> reporter: rashes are fading but students took picture of what they first looked like, red raised blotches irritating and itchy. >> over the last year we have seen, approximately one hundred to 120 students who presented with a very similar type of rash to the backs of their legs. it is a contact dermatitis. >> reporter: mark dennie, director of student health at temple say they have in the been able to identify what is causing the rashes but they have been able to determine they are not bug by the. some suspect it could be from sitting on benches at cecil b more subway station. septa has received a few complaints. >> we have done a visual inspection of these benches. we never saw an infestation. we don't know what happened or what the causes but why take any chances, why not go ahead and address it so we went ahead, power wash it, did a treatment and then sealed it. >> barricaded off the benches down in the station. >> reporter: students with rashes have been told to wear pants for now. >> i wish i knew what the answer was as to why i have

these bumps all over myself. >> reporter: temple university say most students have been successfully treated with a topical cream, reactions are minor with no lasting repercussions. i'm stephanie stahl, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a new poll find democrat tom wolf with the big advantage over pennsylvania governor tom corbett, who is seek he reelect. this poll by quint yak university find wolf with the 24-point advantage in this race, 59 to 35 percent. majority says that wolf will do a better job on the governor, on education and the economy. free library of philadelphia gets a big grant from the william penn pen foundation. the the 25 million-dollar gift will be used to pay for renovation in the mine library and neighborhood branches. the it is largest gift the library has received in its 120 year history. man, not a good hair day in terms of the stickiness factor, the wind factor, but changes are on the way, kathy.

>> a little win as coal front moves through this evening, maybe a few sprinkles here and there but that is it. we got off easy this time. we're talking about some cooler, sunny conditions, moving our way and that will jump start the weekend but it will not be all sunshine. we will take a look at that but first take a look outside where it is turning out to be a pleasant evening across the delaware valley. this is from live sky cam three atop center city studio here. just a very nice engine deed a cross the delaware valley we are seeing a mix of sun and clouds, down the the shore not so bad as sun breaks out late this afternoon with temperatures rising in the 80s on storm scan three we have some clouds, we have some clearing and a few sprinkles here and there but clouds helped to really snuff out development have of some showers and then are storms, a few through baltimore, spotty, moving across eastern shore but do i not think that will get in the way of tailgating, or thursday night football tonight on cbs. we are looking at a few more showers and storms to the south, this is also all

associated with the cold front and we will see a few extra clouds. east coast fairly quiet, west coast getting busy. northern plains actually seeing snow in places like wyoming and dakotas, as a matter of fact our live neighborhood network takes us there where conditions are definitely changing, across the the delaware valley. we are looking at definitely temperatures that right now are in the 80's but will be much different over the next 24 hours. allentown is 83. in philadelphia it is 84. reading it is 83 as well. but cooler air is definite the liz coming. look at these temperatures. hot to the east, to the west, cool, st. louis, 61 degrees and bismarck, 50. wrapped city, 39. billings, 43. and then that cool air will be moving our way. we won't be seeing this though on neighborhood network takes to us south dakota where temperature is 34 degrees and snow continues to come down. that cooler air will be moderating by the time it makes it in the delaware

valley but this type of air will be ushered in. for friday less humid temperatures in the 70's, another weather system moves our way saturday staying cool with some showers and then sunday into sunday night we will get another shot of cooler air and that will be making a huge difference. here's our probability of precipitation, no worries friday v good chance of rain, likely saturday afternoon. sunday and machine looking like they will definitely be dry. thursday night football we are looking at a passing sprinkle possible, otherwise, tonight it is looking good in baltimore with mostly cloudy skies and a temperature of 77 degrees, at kick off. or for tonight low 63 degrees. during the day tomorrow high of 78. much more comfortable across the region, for sure. waking up monday morning to temperatures that will be in the 40's in the lehigh valley northward and 50's philadelphia south and east. something we have not seen yet this season. on the exclusive eyewitness weather seven day forecast turning cooler and once it does temperatures will stay in

the 70's, right through that seven day forecast, shore temperatures, barely making into the lower 70's, so no snow not yet but first snow out west is a signal that things are changing. >> brace yourself. >> take your time on that, in big rush. >> kathy, thank you. >> good afternoon everyone, just 6:19. things still doing poorly outside on the ben franklin bridge. you can see cameras here from the toll plaza on the new jersey side still heading west wound jammed up from toll plaza up into the city, with the two right lanes being taken out due to that ongoing construction passage as well. heading eastbound back in new jersey moving along nicely though. otherwise schuylkill expressway, we have covered this earlier this afternoon, completely jammed solid, just at king of prussia you can see nothing moving heading eastbound toward the city and that travels all the way up through conshohocken. the westbound lanes looking nice there as well.
