. breaking news this morning we have just learned the baby of 26 year old megan doto, pregnant woman gunned down in frankford has died. hello everyone, september satisfy, i'm ukee washington. >> i'm natasha brown. jan live with more on the shooter on this case. first some of the other stories we're following for you today. information in the ambush of two pennsylvania state troopers, corporal ryan dixon died in the attack, and the other victim, trooper alex douglas; now awake and tracking after life saving surgery. lawmakers return to the state house today. that could mean a big vote on a bill to help philadelphia's cash strapped schools. those stories and much more coming up in a bit. let's start with your forecast, katie in the weather center. good morning. >> a little chilly, kate. just a little.

block of adams avenue. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo is live at police headquarters with more on of the breaking developments now in this case. jan? >> police say she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. she was innocent bystander, shot and killed, and to make matters worse, she was eight months pregnant. now, doctors were able to save that baby's life yesterday. remaining in critical condition overnight, but we are told that baby has died, as well. this was 26 year old megan doto, shot and killed in the frankford section of philadelphia as she sat outside of her adams avenue home. police say she was watching her neighbor, seven year old child, when the gunfire errupted. it was around 11:00 in the morning yesterday. police say someone fired about a dozen shots at an unknown target. now, doto was sitting hundreds of yards away, got caught in the crossfire, shot in the face. doto was returned to temple university hospital where she died. doctors performed an emergency c-section to save her baby's life, that baby again had remained in critical condition

for much of the day yesterday, but we're told that baby has now died. meanwhile, police search for suspects, continue to investigate, they've been interviewing witnesses, they also questioned three people on sunday, but so far, no arrests. >> she was not the intended target, unfortunately at the wrong place in that share at the time the shooting occurred up the block. >> can you not let your kids play outside no more. like you got to be careful, watching them 24-seven. >> now no weapons had been recovered. again, police continue to search for a suspect, no arrests at this point. no indication of a motive at this point either. police however do believe that the suspects may have fled in a older model white ford crown vick. if you have any information, give police a call. reporting live outside police headquarters, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> now 4:33, traffic and weather together. good morning. >> hey, natasha, doo good morning, very happy monday morning, being set your way. this morning. and we have a very nice clear sky out here, so that has allowed temperatures to just drop off like a rock. and your temperatures, especially through the outlying suburbs, are noticeably chilly this morning. but, looking ahead to real nice day, and actually real nice week, overall, just looking very quai net our atmosphere, flow has sort of slowed down little bit. we will only see one little hiccup along the way, call t storm scan3, next. no storms to track at this point, definitely in the locally. nice clear skies, we mentioned, to allow temperatures to drop off. little thin vale of cloud cover up across the pocono region, central pa, but won't be enough for even those folks to see warmer air as a result of. >> this so, looking around the region as a whale, this is chilly in philadelphia. it is to has been months since we've seen temperatures this low. 45 degrees in allentown, flirting with 30, a granted, see how we will do, another hour and a half or so maybe

northeast philadelphia into bucks county, all traveling, high speed censors on the 40's. we have downed pole caused by accident earlier on the montgomery county closing south gulf, henderson would be your best alternate. mass transit, looking pretty good. >> $50,000 reward is now being offered for information lead to go arrest in the deadly ambush of two pennsylvania state troopers. corporal brian dixon and trooper alex douglas were shot late friday at the blooming grove barracks about 35 miles or so east of scranton. they were leaving the building during shift change when the gunman opened fire. dixon died, douglas underwent surgery and is now regained consciousness. governor corbett has ordered allstate flags to fly at half staff until dick sean's funeral. >> happening today, the last full day of gaming at atlantic city trump plaza. all operations ends at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. this makes four atlantic city casinos to shut down this year alone. along with the atlantic club,

the attorney general overseeing gm's compensation funds will announced to how many deaths and injuries have been tide to the auto maker ignition switch flaw. general motors confirmed 13 deaths, 54 accidents, but government investigators believe the numbers are higher. company attorneys say 100 claims have been received. families of those who died in the affected vehicles could be eligible for more than $1 million. gm recalled 2.6 million cars this year, related to the problem, which engineers discovered ten years ago. and, cancer survivors and supporters, all dressed in a pink, completed the susan g. komen three day walk through philadelphia. more than 1600 women and 200 men all walked 60 miles to help finds a cure for breast cancer. the walk for the cure event gannon friday. participants camped out inside the convention center overnight, and then set out on a very emotional journey. >> rough. but you think about the people who go through a lot more.
