. we're following breaking news out of northeast philadelphia this morning a man has been shot to death while climbing through a window to visit his girlfriend. police say the shooter was the girlfriend's father. good morning, everyone, i'm ukee washington. >> i'm natasha brown. jan carabeo with the latest on the police investigation. but first, we have more breaking news we're following as well. a woman is shot three times on braddock street. she is fighting for her life in the hospital. police are continuing to search for a gunman. >> and it is the end of the road for another atlantic city casino. less than two hours now, until the trump plaza begins shutting down for good. those stories and much more including last night's eagles win coming up. right now let's talk about our forecast, in the 60s this morning, i think it still is. >> still is. >> little warmer though, right?

"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo live there now, with the very latest for us. jan, what have we learned?

>> reporter: natasha, ukee, a 32 year old man is dead this morning, police say, shot and killed, by a man who lives at this apartment complex. but was this a big miss understanding? police say the victim is actually the boyfriend of the homeowner's daughter possibly mistaken for a home intruder. now there is deadly shooting unfolded here around midnight, at the home circle amounts, on the 2800 block of axe factory road. police say the victim was shot as he attend tomorrow climb through apartment window, shot they say by 41 year old man who lives here. turns out that 41 year old shares this apartment, with his 20 year old daughter, and victim was her boyfriend. police say he was shot in the head and taken to torresdale hospital where he later died. now the 41 year old called 911 and has since been taken to northeast detectives for questioning. in word on any charges this morning. of course, this is a developing story, and just as soon as we get more information we will bring it straight to you. keep it posted. for now live in home circle, jan carabeo, cbs-3,

"eyewitness news". >> jen, we will get back to you, thank you. more breaking news. woman fighting for her life right now after she shot while sitting on her front steps. it happened around 12:30 this morning, along the 3400 block of brad women street. police say, two men approached and shot the 24 year old three times. she's currently in critical condition at temple hospital. friends of the victim who were also sitting outside were not hurt. it is 4:33, here's your traffic and weather together. katy? >> good morning, everybody, for the most part right now things pretty quiet, calm out at the area shore points here, take this live look, atlantic city where things are still really tranquil at this point. we had beautiful day yesterday. hope you had the chance to take advantage of t but if you did not, and you want to get outside at some point this week, you will have plenty of opportunity. trust me. but i do need to turn things over to little bit of wet weather news for you, storm scan3, kicking up little bit of activity. where we do have this activity, it is coming through in pockets of these brief bursts of rain.

are traveling on the roosevelt boulevard, you know it, if you are living in the northeast, we've been dealing with the paving patterns throughout the early morning, exactly what we're dealing with right now, northbound traveling on the roosevelt, we do have pavers taking out that inside lane. so probably good idea to stay to the outside. southbound traveling on the roosevelt, no major problems, note as they move further north up the boulevard, into far northeast philadelphia, you will notice intersections being compromised by police officers, so just keep that in minds. traveling on the schuylkill expressway no major delays in either direction. everything this morning so far continues to be nice and clear. not only on the schuylkill, but 422, pa turnpike, 202, vine st. expressway, taking a look at the new jersey turnpike, we do have overnight work at exit two, route 322, so be minds full of. that will also on the pa turnpike westbound between bensalem and willow grove, also construction, watch out for the guys and gals in the hard hats, and as we take a look at mass transit, everything running on time for septa, urge new jersey, dart, overall, very nice morning,

new the new orleans saints, he felt dissed so playing with a chip on his shoulderment february up washington at lincoln financial field sunday afternoon. back to breaking news this morning, less than two hours now before another atlantic city casino the trump plaza closes its doors, gaming ends at 6:00 this morning. hotel will close down later in the day, and about a thousand people will be out of work. the plaza is the fourth atlantic city casino to close its doors this year. the atlantic club, showboat, and revel, already went out of business. and in november, the trump taj mahal is also scheduled to close. well, bullets flying inside philadelphia bar leaving one patron dead. >> well, it happened at about 10:00 last night, family tach earn, 1100 block of easeled err -- luzerne street. twenty-eight year old man was shot multiple times in the face and the chest. he was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead shortly after. >> based on preliminary information, we believe that our 28 year old victim was

involved in a altercation inside of the bar by the pool tables when the shots rang out. >> right now, detectives are reviewing surveillance video from inside the bar. the shooter is described as a man in a red hooded sweatshirt, so far, no arrests have been made. and, a 16 year old is in philadelphia police custody this morning, accused of shooting a 13 year old twice in the stomach. it happened at about 8:00 near marvine street and erie avenue. police say the shooting may have been an accident. the 13 year old is recovering in the hospital and there is no word yet on charges against the shooter. also, police are investigating the possible sexual assault after 15 year old girl in northeast philadelphia. she was found unconscious about 7:45 last night in a wooded area off of the 7600 block of roosevelt boulevard. according to police, the girl was wearing her school uniform, and had visible bruises on the back of her

legs and a head wound, as well. she's at the hospital in stable condition. a same-sex couple meantime speaking out following a brutal attack in center city that left one victim with his jaw wired shut. this couple who asked not to be identified says they were walking near 16th and chancellor streets on thursday night, and that's when a group of about 12 people confronted them. some groups, members of the group, yelling gay slurs. the victim's described their attackers to our todd quinones . >> people you wouldn't expect this from. what happened? because i am gay? is this real a thing these days? i guess it is for some people. >> they say they have surveillance pictures of the alleged attackers f caught these suspects could be charged with a hate crime. and, there is much more to tell you about on "eyewitness news" this morning, when we come back, more child abuse

happening today, president obama set to meet with retired marine general allen. allen, being called back into service to lead a coalition against isis. this comes on the heals of the terrorist group's execution after british national. now the us now says it is open to talking to iran about a role in defeating isis. >> more allegations every abuse against viking quarterback adrian peterson, already faces charges for hurt ago son while disciplining him. report reveals peterson was previously accused of injuring another son from a different mother. peterson reportedly sent the woman texts admitting he accidentally hit the boy's head against a carseat while

it is 4:53. traffic and weather together on the 3's. go morning, vittoria. >> good morning, natasha and everyone at home. if you are headed out and about this morning, it is actually really beautiful. no real shocker there. we approach 5:00 o'clock this morning, only few vehicles to talk about on 309. really everywhere. 309 in either direction, if you are headed toward or from the pennsylvania turnpike, no problems. on the pa turnpike looking pretty good. do you have construction zones between bensalem, willow grove, be mindful of the guys and gals in the hard hats, again, no major problems are we dealing with here. also, no major problems on 95, southbound commuting looking great. if you are headed even through the construction zones, so far so good. but, as the sun comes up, the rush comes in. so things will definitely change. if you are traveling northbound 95 no major delays, all of the majors, 95, the schuylkill, vine st.

expressway, 476, just really really quiet morning. we do have construction in new jersey on 295 in both directions between the black horse pike and the 42. this will be ongoing until 6:00 a.m. also, construction on the northbound side of the new jersey turnpike at exit two. that's route 322. and, as we take a quick look into delaware, just green down the board on the delaware or 95, traveling 495, as well as the delaware memorial bridge. all of the bridges moving well. mass transit looking great. things at the airport looking beautiful. and it is to seems to be that things will look even more beautiful, just the a little bit later on. >> perfect, exactly how i would have put it, vittoria, you're right. you got green up and down the board in your area, i also have green in mine, and of course, that does tends to be you have a little bit of rain to dodge here. but the bulk of precipitation looking at the nice wide zoom on storm scan3, very obviously out of our neck of the woods, mainly up in up-state new york, but, we are going to be getting in on some activity here. when we zoom it in, you have got couple of pockets of
