being offered tonight for information leading to those suspects. nearly a dozen people are accused in taking part in that brutal attack. "eyewitness news" reporter todd quinones is live at central detectives with new information. todd. >> reporter: jessica, thanks to this crystal clear surveillance video that was release to do night detectives here inside are telling me right now they're getting a lot of tip calls from people who are trying to help identify these suspects. as you know there's an awful lot of outrage over these attacks and tonight the victims are urging everyone to not take justice into their own hands. >> police described the dozen or so men and women in their early 20's as clean cut and well dressed. one wearing an orange sweater vest. another a button down shirt. surprising group of suspects people we showed the video to. >> it's just also strange to see according to what you've shown me here it's people of my generation as well. >> what's everybody so mad abo

about? i don't get it. >> to the gay couple who was beaten as gay slurs were being yelled at them in center city thursday night, they contend looks can be deceiving. >> is this your f'ing boyfriend. yes, this is my f'ing boyfriend. they said so you're a dirty f'ing sleep. what if i am a dirty f'ing bleep,. >> three guys started pummeling me and knocked me to the ground and i hit the ground hard and i was out. >> the suspects were caught on a surveillance video camera minutes before the attack took place just before 11:00 on september 11th when the couple was attacked right at 16th street just south of walnut at chancellor. the 28 year old victim was beaten so badly he was hospitalized for more than three days. he has a large cut and bruises to his face and his jaw will be wired shut for the next eight weeks due to severe orbital fractures much his 26 year old boyfriend has bruises to his face. it was an tack people in the neighborhood find disturbing. >> us as a city we're trying to be more progressive and that is

absolute -- i can't even fathom the thought. >> reporter: and tonight the victims are also urging all of the suspects to go ahead and turn themselves in and the philadelphia police department says anyone seen on that surveillance video who perhaps did not throw a punch, they should immediately begin cooperating with police to try and get ahead of this whole thing before it's too late. reporting live tonight from central detectives todd quinones cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> it's only a matter of time. todd. thank you. >> developing news tonight he's considered armed and extremely dangerous. the manhunt has intensified tonight for survival list wanted in the dead many ambush of two pennsylvania state troopers. "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco is live in the sat center. diana, investigators know exactly who they're looking for tonight. >> reporter: chris after countless tips from the public investigators are now looking for a man by the name of eric matthew freen described as a survival list and an excellent

marksman and tonight he could be anywhere. the manhunt has never stopped but police now know who they're looking for. pennsylvania state police say this man gunned down two state troopers friday night concealed in the woods outside the blooming grove barrack. >> what i want to emphasize to everyone is that this fella is extremely dangerous. we have no idea where he is in the community. he has been described as a survival list. he has a lot of training in particular area. he's made statements about wanting to kill law enforcement officers and also to commit mass acts of murder. >> reporter: police searched his home where he lives with his parents but he is still at large. inside they found shell casings matching that at the scene. law enforcement has been canvassing the area for days but the break came when a man walking his dog 2 miles from the barracks found a car partially submerged in a pond.

the vehicle is believed to be his. >> also, found in that vehicle, the defendant's social security card, a game commission range permit for the defendant. camouflage face pain. a flashlight. black hooded sweatshirts. two empty arrival cases. military gear. >> reporter: corporal brian dixon was killed and trooper alex douglas seriously wounded when he fired on them during a shift change. >> currently there's an intensive manhunt underway. we have this individual entered into the nci system with law enforcement in this area, across the state and across the country are now actively engaged in finding him and i'm confident we will. >> reporter: and services for corporal dixon are expected on friday. flags around the state will remain at half staff until that time. state police are still looking for tips from the public on his whereabouts. but they are warning he is extremely dangerous and to copy your distance. we're live in the satellite

"eyewitness news" on adams avenue in frankford tonight. there is where candlelight vigil was held for meghan doto and her baby. she was shot to death sunday morning. her baby later delivered by c section also died. police believe the doto was the intended target of the gunfire. tonight investigators are searching for 27 year old devon gush shard in connection with the deaths of doto and her baby. enterovirus 68 that respiratory virus infecting children nationwide has now landed in philadelphia. children's hospital of philadelphia has confirmed four cases of enterovirus 68. those children who were treated at children's hospital have since been discharged. doctors say it is spreading quickly with kids back in scho school. >> children we've cared for that we know have this virus have the very kim typical picture of respiratory viral infection. so fever, cough, wheezing, um,

and, um, for some some of those that needed required hospitalization a bit of difficulty catching their breath. there is no specific treatment or cure for the virus. most children will recover on their own, but they may need to be hospitalized if they have trouble breathing. >> new at 11:00 o'clock night, the inform fl players association has now officially appealed the suspension of ray rice. rice was banned from the nfl indefinitely after video was released showing him assaulting his now wife janay palmer in the elevator of a revel casino hot hotel. rice was also released by the baltimore raven. now the players association cites what they call a lack of fair and impartial process in the league's decision. they have asked for an arbitrator to hear that case. well an investigation is underway now after a 12 year old girl told police that she was abducted while walking to school. this happened at west rogers and harrison streets in ridley park, delaware county.

the girl told police that a man pulled her into a van this morning. but she was able to escape and find a crossing guard who called police. tonight the girl's uncle explains to oy witness news how she got away. >> when they got approximately three to five minutes down the street, she realized that she was probably at a red light because the van was stopped for extended period of time. she was able to open up the back door of the van and exit the rear and take off running. >> the girl describes her abductor as a 6-foot tall black man wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and driving a white van with a red ladder. central bucks band teacher is facing charge that is night. she's accused of having a sexual relationship with a 1484 old student. this is the suspect, bridget, she's been suspended from her job at central bucks high school south. according to police, she had inappropriate relations with a 1484 old male student back in

2012 when she work at len nap fee middle school in doylestown. she is pregnant with her second child. >> somebody who is mandated by law to roar this got a report of this and reported it and it came directly to us. >> she does live in philadelph philadelphia. she is married and has four year old child. the house could vote as early as tomorrow to approve training of syrian rebels in the fight against isis. at a congressional hearing on capitol hill today, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff discussed president obama's plan to defeat isis fighters in iraq and syria. general martin democracy told lawmakers he'll recommend the use of u.s. ground troops if air strikes fail. >> if we reach the point where i believe our advisers should accompany iraq troops on attacks against specific isol targets i'll recommend that to the president. >> anti war protesters frequently interrupted that hearing. the president has authorized sending 475 additional troops to iraq.

president obama says the ebola epidemic in west africa could threaten security around the world. the president traveled to atlantatland today where he vise cdc. he ordered three thus san military personnel to the region to help deal with that crisis. >> faced with this outbreak the world is looking to us, the united states. and it's a responsibility we embrace. we're prepared to take leadership on this to provide the kinds of capabilities that only america has and to mobilize the world in ways that only america can do. >> today the president also met with doctors at emory universi university. doctors kent brantly was treated for ebola. he met with the president at the white house before the president left for atlanta. >> trump plaza became the latest cass soon know to shut down in atlantic city today but eyewitness spoke with donald trump today and he says he may return to ac to try to save the casinos he once owned. closed sign went up on the front
