work of his own to find the possible suspects. >> everybody knew where the place was, so, from there, that is where i was like okay, here's what we can do. i was able to look through facebook, everybody who had checked in on there and would i go through, all of their profiles, and then most of them would have other, would have pictures of people from the video, with the names attached. >> reporter: both victims are urging suspects to turn themselves in. they were attack thursday night just before 11:00 on 16th street south of walnut at chancellor. they said some of their attackers were yelling gay slurs while hitting them. twenty-six year-old victim was beaten so badly he was hospitalized for more than three days and will have have his jaw wired shut for the next eight weeks. and, some people who also went to school with some of these suspects, also contacted police, once they saw that video to help police identify who they are. as of this hour, still no

"eyewitness news" reporter noel mcclaren is live at the scene where some are now questioning that building's safety, noel. >> reporter: jessica, we watched police conduct their investigation primarily in two locations, just beyond this fence here, right in that courtyard area, and then nine stories up at that whipped owe where she fell, investigators are trying to figure out what did cause that little girl to fall. police say they were heart broken by what they saw when they first arrived on the scene. >> we arrived on location, father is holding his eight year-old child, child unresponsive at the time. >> reporter: investigators say eight year-old little girl fell nine stories from her father's fairfax apartment

window, only possible witness her big sister, just 11 years old. >> she runs, starts screaming through the building. >> reporter: for now police say they are conducting their investigation as an accident. >> we believe the kids had woken up before the father, we believe the eight year-old was looking out the window and looking at something and tragically falls from the window. >> reporter: sources close to the victim said her father is a single father of two who lived here with both of his girls. like many other residents at the fairfax, sources say he was a penn graduate student. his student neighbors are in disbelief. >> they must be completely sick, really sad, i'm so sorry for their loss. >> i'm really feeling sorry for them but i don't know what happened. >> reporter: some neighbors also said that they had questions about the the safety of this building. we have talk to police and they say that the window structures appear to be safe, but we will bring you more about that story, coming up at

6:00 but for now we are live from west philadelphia, noel mcclaren for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". chopper three over a crash involving a pennsylvania state trooper on interstate 95 southbound. this happened, in tinicum township near bartram avenue exit, the trooper from the belmont barracks was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. that wreck has been cleared and traffic is now back to normal. cause of this fire at philadelphia international airport is now under investigation, chopper three over the scene this morning as fire fighters worked to put out the the flames on a u.s. airways equipment truck in cargo city. no one was injured. "eyewitness news" in camden today where police are investigating an assault on a woman. they were handing out flyers. a 54 year-old home less woman walk in the hospital around 1:00 o'clock yesterday morning. she had been assaulted on mount evefram avenue in the area have of sheraton and jackson street. police say she had been cut on her head and ears multiple times and they believe she may have been dragged.

police also believe that there may be multiple suspects. nike has now suspended it sponsorship deal with vikings running back adrian peterson following his indictment on charges of child abuse. that move came hours after the vikings reversed their decision to allow peterson to play this week while he fights felony charge in texas. cbs reporter allison harmlen has more outside nfl headquarters in new york, we made a mistake, and we needed to get this right. >> reporter: that was refrain. of minnesota vikings officials repeated over and over, after they reversed their decision to allow running back adrian peterson to return to the field this weekend. team acknowledge it sidelined the super star after outcry from fans and corporate sponsors. peterson facing child abuse charges for whipping his four year-old son with the tree branch agreed with the teams decision. >> he felt it was best for him to be able to step away to take care of his legal and

personal matters. >> reporter: nfl commissioner roger goodell now under investigation for his handling of the ray rice domestic violence case but peterson on the exempt commissioner's permission list. the exempt list is a special player status that set aside for unusual circumstances. it requires peterson stay away from his team until charges against him are resolve but he will continue to collect his $695,000 per game check. peterson was not the only absence from the vikings headquarters today, radisson logo once featured on the backdrop for vikings press conferences was removed after the chain suspended its sponsorship of the team. meanwhile at a radisson hotel in atlanta women's right attorney introduced two people who claim allegations and abuse at the hand of the nfl player were ignored by commissioner goodell. allison harmlen for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". also today the carolina panthers removed greg hardy from their active roster until his domestic violence case is

resolved. hardy was convicted back in july on two counts of domestic assault and threatening to kill, annex girlfriend. he has now appealed that decision. tomorrow at 4:00 o'clock doctor phil, will speak about the current fire storm surrounding the nfl players accused of domestic violence. had hear from former ravens player chris johnson and his wife who have a close friendship with ray rice and his wife janay. again, that is tomorrow at 4:00 right here on cbs-3. next years race for philadelphia's marries starting to take shape as candidates announce their plans. "eyewitness news" has learn former philadelphia district attorney lynn abraham is running for mayor, and an official announcement has not been made. democrat tells us she's meeting with advisors and trying to raise fund for that race. meanwhile attorney ken truillo became latest democrat to enter the race today. he made the announcement outside philadelphia school district headquarters. trujillo says he would abolish
