"eyewitness news" reporter jane carabao joins us at the crime scene in ogontz with the very latest information, jane. >> reporter: the search is on this morning for a killer, a gunman who shot to death a woman, a pregnant woman, eight months pregnant, who died here as well as her babe hoy was deliver but later died at the hospital. we are coming live from the ogontz section of philadelphia where you can see investigators are still on the scene this morning processing the evidence and looking for clues hoping that they could

find something that point them to this killer. police say they have found, 20 spent shell casings on the sidewalk and street here. this shooting happened here just before 1:00 at 20th street and needrow avenue. a 26 year-old man was shot in the back and leg and was taken to einstein medical center in critical condition but he is expect to survive. the 25 year-old woman he was with was shot the in the head, the arm and both legs. she was pronounced dead at the hospital but then doctors realized she was eight months pregnant and they tried to save her baby but the child died an hour later. now police are trying to determine a motive and track down the suspect, at this point, they have limited information about the shooter but they are optimistic that video in the area will help. >> fortunately we did find some businesses in the immediate area that do have steer your surveillance cameras. so, homicide detective are on location trying get a copy of those recordings and hopefully, they can help us,
