a pregnant woman is killed in the hail of gunfire and making this story more tragic we're told her baby also died shortly after being delivered. it is second time in two weeks a pregnant woman has been killed in philadelphia and now another victim is fighting to survive. we are live with the search for that shooter. good morning, everyone. also new information about the deadly tour bus crash, in delaware, we will tell but the big trouble the bus driver is in, this morning. that is coming up. but first lets check traffic and weather together with katie and torey, good morning. >> good morning, everybody. today will be our day of transition essentially as we

basically just await arrival of the coastal storm system that continues to gather strength and moisture. we will end up with heavy rain it looks like here in a matter on have hours. we will time this storm system out, for you, bottom line is rain gear is require. again all details are coming up in the next few, torey. >> good morning, everyone. all and all things are looking good. i-95, schuylkill, 476, northeast extension, i can go down the the list but as we head outside we have some lingering, activity from last night. we had an earlier water main break on the admiral wilson boulevard. we will have details on this coming up in just a few minutes but back over to ukee and erika. >> we will start our half an hour back to the breaking news a shooting in north philadelphia leaving a pregnant woman and her child dead a man was also wonderfulled. police hope video will help them track down the killer. jane carabao joins us from the scene in ogontz to tell us all about it, jan.

>> reporter: ukee and erika, that is right. two people have lost their lives this morning, a woman eight months pregnant and her baby both die overnight here as a result of the shooting. that with man shot in the head. you can see behind me that police are wrapping up their investigation on the scene but they have a lot of work ahead tracking down this suspect. if you take a look at video you can see what the scene looked like a few minutes ago this shooting happened just before 1:00 a.m. at 20th street and needrow avenue. a 26 year-old man was shot in the back and leg and taken in the einstein medical center in critical condition but he is expect to survive. 259 year-old woman he was with shot in the head arm and both legs and she was pronounced dead at the hospital. then police then doctors rather realized she was also eight months pregnant. they tried to save her baby but the child died an hour later. new police are trying determine a motive and track down a suspect. at this point they have very limitedded information about the shooter but they are

optimistic that video in this area will help. >> fortunately we did find some businesses in the immediate area that do have exterior surveillance camera. so homicide detectives are on location trying to get a copy of those recordings and hopefully they can help us, with this investigation of double shooting that led to the homicide. >> reporter: now police spent a lot of the morning taking a look at a white car on the scene, they believe that is female victim's car. although she and the man were inside during the shooting this he were bet outside of the car when police arrived on the sidewalk. police are also following up with interviews this morning including an interview with the surviving victim who is talking with police. we will have much more later on in our broadcast but for now live from ogontz, jane carabao cbs-3 "eyewitness news". 5:33. here's traffic and weather together. do we need a jacket. >> still a decent idea to have it ready to go but you will

>> good morning, everybody. as of right new as we are waiting for that rain to come in later on we are waiting for rush to come in this morning because right now it is very quiet. we have some activity on the admiral wilson boulevard. traveling on the eastbound side, approaching area of the ben franklin bridge, last tonight we had a water main break. they are flying to get that cleared out of the way, that is what you are looking at right here but notice very few vehicles on the roadway and that is the case all over. as we continue we will go down to the schuylkill expressway which is that same story heading west or eastbound only a few vehicles out and about. we are in the seeing any volume problems. we are traveling at least in the 50's. notice here 55 on 422, same on 202, schuylkill, pennsylvania turnpike, i-95 and watch out for an accident on the new jersey turnpike southbound on the delaware memorial bridge. two lanes are block. in delays for mass transit or airport. ukee and quarter. 5:36. in business news this morning what is hot on the holiday toy list. >> all right. >> i guess we have to start shopping now. >> is what profit margin on that new iphone six plus.

breaking news leads this look in the headlines on cbs-3 police are interviewing eyewitnesses including a critically injured man about a deadly shooting at 20th and needrow. a 25 year-old pregnant woman was shot and killed and her baby was delivered but died a short time later. also a developing story right new you three suspects are expected to surrender in connection with the beating of a same sex couple in center city earlier this month. suspects face assault and conspiracy charges. former revel casino hotel in atlantic city will be sold at auction today for pennies on the dollar. so far the only bid made public is 90 million-dollar, from a florida developer. 5:43 lets get traffic and weather together with katie, how are we looking. >> we can expect to see
