expect this evening, kathy. >> good news is that the storm is paul way on storm scan three you can see a few showers but our storm moving toward the northeast and taking a live look at the rain and wind witt. we are seeing some consistent showers almost in the shape of the t. you can see here through gloucester and camden county zooming in along 295 and turnpike from man to, woolwich and down 322 towards williamstown we are seeing consistent rain but the the dreary weather, drizzle and patchy fog will continue into the evening hours. take a look at these rain amounts, lewis, delaware over 3 inches of rain, egg harbor township two and a their. atlantic city over 2 inches. wood lane 2 inches. vineland 2 inches of rain. as we expect heavier rain in south jersey and delaware moving toward the shore. temperatures cool across the region. we have not moved much from last night. temperatures in the 60's but falling fast during the overnight. average high for this time of the year 75. well below that. winds continuing but now out of the north generally between

well, two former philadelphia school district principals are under arrest tonight, charged with cheating. authorities say that they changed answers on standardized tests all to boost scores. "eyewitness news" reporter noel mcclaren is live at school district headquarters with more, noel? >> reporter: well, we reached out to the school district for comment, not too long ago. they have not immediately responded to our request. we know their offices are closed to day because they are observing a holiday but police still went on to arrest two former principals, this morning charged with educating the future of philadelphia these two principals have been now charged with forgery and tampering with state tests.

"eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan spoke to his father. >> the last thing i said to him was, you know, all of the guys, you know, watch each others backs. >> reporter: six year-old matt novac's son matt junior was murdered in philadelphia after willing from south jersey with two friend to the the puerto rican day parade. their car had trouble on sixth street near spring garden. after a long wait a dark blue chevy impala stopped with three people inside. they offered jumper cables if matt went with them. short time later matt was shot getting out of that car at 13th and fairmount. he died in the surgery. >> when the surgeon came in and gave us the word, i sat in

sophomore will soon be back in virginia. jesse matthew, junior was arrested nearly 1300 miles away from where he was last seen with this 18 year-old woman. as cbs news reporter craig boswell tells us now that the only known suspect is in custody, the the big question remains where is hanna graham. >> reporter: jesse leroy matthew, junior will soon be back in virginia to face charges, including the suspect abduction of a university of virginia sophomore. >> we don't know where hanna graham is and we have to find her. >> reporter: matthew appeared in the the texas court earlier today, police arrested the three two-year old on i beach in galveston county, texas. he was the last person seen with hanna gram on surveillance video in the hours before the 18 year-old disappeared september 13th. the two were seen in an area of shops and bars about a mile from the charlottesville virginia campus. police in charlottesville say they are confident in the evidence that they say, links matthew to hanna's disappearance but investigators are asking the

temperatures in the low to mid 60's in the city and same story down the shore. lets look at our live neighborhood network sites. you can see waves looking rough here at beach patrol in margate where it is 63 degrees and brisk north wind at 10 miles an hour making it feel worse. this is a 12 hour loop of the storm which ends right about now. you can see how that heavy rain came from south to north all morning long developed over western suburbs and look at this line developed over maryland this morning and still staying intact as it moves over portions of delaware right now. is there the past hour. most of the showers are deteriorating but we are still watching that one line could produce winds of 20 miles an hour and steady rain. also scattered light showers, all across the rest of the area. puddles out there making for spray on the roads as well. heavier rain indicatedded by green, yellow shading, you can see by reading has had an estimated 2 inches of rain in spots there northwestern chester county and delaware had over 2 inches of rain. our peak wind gusts not as bad as we were concerned they

well, now a bald eagle rescue, a giraffe tries to bee friend a visitor and epic banner fail at a peewee football game. lets start with the eagle rescue. canadian man fishing found a bald eagle swimming in the water. he got on board his boat and realize that had eagle needed medical care. animal experts think the eagle got in trouble trying to catch a fish just too big for to it handle. vets are new taking care of it and it will be released back into the wild. there was an unexpect visitor in the giraffe enclosure at dublin zoo. it looks like giraffe wanted to be friend with the bunny but bunny was not interested, probably a littal frayed. soon the whole gang of giraffe was trying to figure out who this visitor might be, maybe they befriendedded each other. this group of peewee football players were tackled before the opposing team ever
