pump, starts a fire, seriously injuries a woman. jan carabeo joins us now at the scene with the latest information. jan, good morning. >> erika, ukee, good morning. that woman suffered burns, taken to the hospital, however, she is in stable condition this morning. this could have been a whole lot worse, though, with one car slamming into the other, and taking out a gas pump here. if you take a look behind me, here on scene, at the sunoco gas steaks, in kensington, you can see that pump is broken off, and tipped over, the accident ignited the fuel here sparking big fire, the cars involved, however, as you can see, have now been towed away. but if you take a look at the video, you can see the burned out cars and wreckage, we're told this accident happened just before 11:30 lags night, here is he sunoco, corner of summerset and aramingo. woman getting ready to pump her gas when another driver misstook the gases pedal for the brake and t bone the woman sitting at the pump. that will caused big fire. the woman outside of the car suffered second degree burns to her hands and leg. she was taken to temple university hospital in stable

condition. but, that is series of events that have started folks in the neighborhood. >> it is insane. you never know what's going to happen to you when you wake up in the morning. you're never too sure. and it is cents a scary thing, a scary thing to know that at any moment that could be it. >> and the sunoco gas station here in kensington just reopened at 5:00 o'clock, and people are coming in, and taking a look at all of the wreckage left behind. they're now open, and later this morning, they'll have a big mess to clean up since the p.m. some still tipped over. again, this could have been a whole lot worse. one was woman was burned, taken to the hospital, is in stable condition this morning. live in kensington, jan carabeo, "eyewitness news". >> jan, thank you. new this morning, officials are working to determine the cause after two alarm fire in chester delaware county. units were called to a row home on the 2800 block of tenth street just before midnight. it spread to a second home before firefighters were able to get it under control.

no one was hurt, but one resident is receiving assistance from the red cross. all right, 5:03, carol is outside. but very different scene today compared to yesterday. carol? >> yes, yesterday was a little bit rainy. there was a mist going on yesterday. we had over 2 inches of rain in a lot of locations cents yesterday. it was just awful. because the week was supposed to have been dry all week. that is how fast the storm system can pop up. that will low pressure system, coastal storm did. and that's why, thursday was impacted. but it is gone, fortsly, and we're left with much better weather today. we have sunshine. you can see what remains of that system. it is cents way up in massachusetts, now, but we've got clear skies. and they'll stick around here for the next couple of days. things looking real nice. it is cool, though, 56 degrees, in philadelphia, in the 50's in just about every other location, allentown, almost in the 50's, at 49 degrees, is the coolest spot on the map. temperatures today will show nice warm up. that is day maybe you want to eat outside. 70 degrees, just lovely,

lovely time in the middle of the day, by 77 degrees, just fantastic, by 3:00 p.m. just very, very comfortable temperatures. our future weather, just clear skies, so expect to find gorgeous weather, enjoy yourselves out there today, to make up for what should have been a nice day yesterday. but wasn't. we're going to be finding some real nice weather, though, so we have several days to make up for the bad act every thursday. our temperature this afternoon, get to go about 77, lovely degrees. when i come back in, i'll show you the seven day forecast, right now so much going on on the roads with vittoria. >> there is, thank you, carol. good morning, everyone, still dealing with very serious accident on 476, but update for you. they've reopened one lane. let's get outside, give you better idea what you're dealing w so if you are traveling northbound on the blue route, earlier accident involving a newspaper box truck, and sedan, closed the northbound side of 476, right at the schuylkill expressway. now, they are finally allowing one lane of traffic to get by.

if you are heading in this area, still because it is very active, the good news is we're not dealing with so much volume, and they have opened that right-hand lane, but, if you just don't feel comfortable, just yet, as they continue to work on it, you can take the alternate that we have provided for you. and that's the schuylkill expressway to 202, to main street. again, give yourself more time this morning is a good idea. also, if you are traveling, this would be 202 southbound, the ramp to westbound 422. still dealing with disable tractor-trailer, police on the scene, looks like tow truck on scene, as well. you can access the westbound side of 422, but it is out there this morning. as we take a look at the wide, speed censors look great, traveling on other parts of the blue route, 55 miles per hour, 50 on the schuylkill, a five traveling on 95, no delays at all for new jersey, 42, 55, 295, in the clear, and no major delays even at philadelphia international airport. ukee? >> torrey, chopper three captured the moments after the driver of a mini-van careened off the roadway in claymont, delaware, and launched into this home. it happened last night, on the

after 2:00 this morning. and as you'll notice, one lane of traffic now getting by, the rye hand lane, see the headlights coming throughment the accident scene looking at it here is more toward the left and center lanes. so if you are traveling in this area still a good idea would be to take the schuylkill expressway alternate to 202, and then get on main street. i would still feel little leary about coming in this area, because still just a lot of clean up that has to be done with the severity of the incident, 202 to main street, would still be good idea, even though one lane now moving on the northbound side of the blue route between the schuylkill and conshohocken, we continue now, taking you to another incident, to two southbound approaching 202 westbound onramp. disable tractor-trailer. police on the scene tends to go. >> this you can still access 422 westbound. it is still out there. folks slowing down just a bit because of t we do have traffic light malfunction in the northeast section at the roosevelt boulevard and welsh rd. careful maneuvering through that. if you are traveling on 95,

that rain, right now, the skies are clear, over us, the storm system is long gone, and it stays long gone. we will be dealing with sunshine, and not hard to deal with sunshine. 56 degrees, in philadelphia right now, 53 in trenton, 55 degrees in wilmington, still, hanging onto 49 in the poconos, that's the coolest spot. it is a nice morning out there, but, a jacket, probably a good thing to have if you are headed out to the bus stop. by noon, 70 degrees, just lovely lunchtime temperature, 3:00 p.m., 77 degrees, you will feel fantastic, the wet letter feel fantastic, as well. our first pitch weather, the phillies in town, they're playing against atlanta. 69 degrees, for the first pitch, that's a comfortable temperature, 63, by the ninth inning, assuming it ends at nine innings, if it went longer, the temperatures would be lower. and it is possible cents it could go longer. we've got temperatures today, 77 degrees, with the sunshine, by tomorrow, and sunday, 82 degrees both daysment looks like real nice week coming up, very summer like one this

weekend. we check on the roads with vittoria. >> good morning, outside, update on he will year breaking news story, closure at 476 at the circle. traveling on the blue route, one lane only getting by this accident scene. again, this is 476 northbound approaching 76. one lane of traffic getting by. >> this was box truck situation, that collided into a sedan, it was a fatal accident, that we've learned. so if you are head in the this area, still probably good idea to avoid t and to avoid it take 76 to 202, to main street. that's our best alternate at this time. and definitely something i would advise, as it is cents still a very active scene. as we continue, taking you now to 202, this is the southbound side of 202, approaching 422 westbound. we've had disable tractor-trailer here. at least since i've been here. police are still on scene, trying to get in wrapped up out of the way. you can still access 422 westbound, but you will be slowing in that area. we also have a traffic light malfunction, the northeast, this is at the roosevelt
