front, on the way, we will tike it out for you coming up. >> thank you, casey. i'm sure major changes will be taken into effect little later on, but right now the roads are wide open, looking at the ben franklin bridge, no major problems, construction westbound on the bridge, and few other areas. we'll talk about that in just a second. ukee? >> thank you, in the news this morning, another american is being flown to the united states from west africa, to be treated for ebola. >> now there is comes a mid new revelations about the first person ever diagnosed with the disease here in the states. cbs news correspondent omar a via frank adjoins us live from dallas where they say as many as a hundred people may have come in contact with that patient. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, duncan still in serious condition here at the hospital. health officials monitoring his family. comes on the heals we learn another american in liberia has contracted the virus, on his wack back to the u.s. for treatment. >> a freelance cameraman, covering the ebola outbreak, in africa, will be flown to

the u.s. from liberia, for treatment, after contracting the deadly virus. he had recently gun working with a nbc news team who spoke to rachael. >> we are quarantining ourselves, even going beyond the cdc guidelines. >> in the states, hazmat crews in texas will decontaminate the dallas apartment where thomas duncan, the first person diagnosed with ebola on us soil, stayed upon his arrival from liberia. officials got a court order to keep family members he came in contact with indoors. >> duncan now here at texas cents health for treatment. officials in liberia say they will prosecute duncan for allegedly lying about who he came in contact with, before flying to the states. reportedly filled out health format in liberian saying he had no contact with anyone with ' bowl a but while there, helped pregnant late here --

neighbor who later died of the disease. >> the fact he knew, and he left the country, is -- >> family member claims the family member didn't know had ebola. >> the hospital now answering questions on why duncan came to the hospital showing symptoms, but it was then sent home. texas health presbyterian said they are changing their protocol so that does not happen again. erika, ukee? >> omar, what do we know or what have you learned about the flight duncan took to the united states? >> reporter: we learned united from brussels, to washington, did. c, another flight came down here to dallas. cdc is telling us since he wasn't showing any symptoms, people on the flight are not considered at risk. but we learned that united is now contacting those people just to give them a heads up and releasing flight information just asomugha courtesy. so a lot of people of course curious what's going on in the air and also here on the

ground. >> no doubt about that, omar, thank you. reporting enough dallas. also, developing right now, students at upper darby high school can expect to see extra police officers when they show to up classes this morning. giving you live look at the school area right now, upper darby police tweeted they will have a very strong police presence, around the school today, after a rumor of a threat quickly spread. police say the threat appears to be unsubstantiated, but they are taking it seriously. new this morning, firefighters in north philadelphia were able to get the upper hand on a house fire early this morning, before it spread. "eyewitness news", on the scene, at 26th and oxford. firefighters say, they found heavy smoke coming from the second floor when they responded around 1:30 a.m. no injuries were reported. fire investigators are now working to find out what sparked those flames. 5:03. time for our traffic and weather together. katie, get ready for some changes, right? >> absolutely, not today, however, rather it will be overnight tonight, into

the schuylkill expressway, again, beautiful ride. our speed censors indicating the same thing, 55 your average on the schuylkill, same thing 95, no problems on the vine st. expressway, pa turnpike northeast extension, 202, 422, list goes on and on. we do, how much, have construction on the roosevelt boulevard in northeast philadelphia between commonly and levick on the southbound side. the inner drive is block, until 6:00 a.m. i, myself, to do some maneuvering in the area through the intersections as i was trying to get to 95, using harbison avenue. so, definitely want to plan accordingly forgetting around the neighborhoods. also, watch out for the construction project northbound 295 at route 13, because that ramp is closed, erika? >> tour, thank you. philadelphia police are being looking for the suspects in this surveillance video. they are accused of slashing tires along two neighborhood blocks in juniata park. "eyewitness news" reporter steve patterson joins us now at police headquarters with closer look at the video. steve, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, erika. yes, ma'am, if you can imagine, waking up to your

tires slashed, you can imagine, what kind of frustration these people are feeling, calling this video sickening, if you're making breakfast, or getting ready for work, i want you to come to the tv, just check it out. it is brazen, it is almost embarrassing, these crooks it, looks like they're having the time of their lives, just on down the line in juniata park, slashing and puncturing tires, this is all part of a spree that police say is within about two block radius, the 1600 block wore ethel, pots streets, police looking at the block of time, 10:00 p.m. between 4:30 that night. one male suspect in this video, two female suspects, they say the suspects likely in their late teens, early 20's. but we found more. we did some digging. hit the neighborhood. found what may be a fourth suspect, in a lightly colored suv, separate video from the scene, appears to be the get away driver, waiting for the

crooks to come, after they're done slashing tires. our own todd quinones was there when several of these people were waking up and finding their tires slashed. we want you to check this out. listen to this. >> i don't know what the punks are, but they dot me, probably did it on the side. now i can't have it fixed. i have to buy a brand new tire. >> it is absolutely disgraceful. like they have no respect for anybody in this neighborhood or what they work for, or how hard they work, they just don't care. >> well the worse part is also the silver lining, is that there is video of this police hope you're watching right now, you have got a tip, you can call police and let them know, at least, part of what's happening there in that neighborhood. police are looking for any information that they can find right now, call police, if you have any information. it is the latest from police headquarters, steve patterson, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> thank you, steve, we'll get back to you. in other news, investigators looking for gunmen who fired 13 shots on kensington block

injuring three people. police search for clues on the 3,000 block of lee street around 10:30 last night. they say one of the 13 shots fired went through a home on that block, luckily, no one inside was injured. investigators are now checking cameras in the area for any leads. >> veteran philadelphia fire lieutenant is out on bail this morning, facing charges for two disturbing crimes. jamal johnson accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman in logan. investigators say, johnson impersonate add police officer, and told the victim that she would be arrested unless she performed a sex act. investigators say, the victim complied before manage to go escape. >> there is an indication that she hides between vehicles, at some point in time, once she exits the vehicle, and that he maneuvers around several cars looking for her, drives around the block looking for her. >> the 18-year veteran is assigned to ladder company 14 in north philadelphia. he's due back in court on october 16th. well, leud emails cost two top pennsylvania officials their jobs.

the same system affecting us tomorrow. right? have absolutely. yes, the very same system. this is very large and system that's got a lot of gusto to it, basically, right now, but what is good about the timing for us? is that it is likely to fizzle a little bit at least by the time it hits us. so, let's take you out to huge zoom on storm scan3, you got to zoom it way out to even see this in its entirety. you can see that classic comma shape taking shape here from st. louis, back down toward houston. look at this, we just showed you video. really nasty thunderstorms, quite a bit of severe weather potential when you have a line like this. what's left is still real nasty line. looks like the brunt or at least the leading edge of some of these storms now moving out over the open water of the gulf. but, this again, is the system that's going to eventually move through for us. now, more than anything, we are looking at rain, some winds out of this system, and then a significant drop on the thermometer, we get the cold front out of this. so, look what happens to the

today looks very pleasant. slowed down, very much set on when it will get here at this point, though, so the whole day really looks very pleasant here, as we continue to keep high pressure around for one more day. here it is, though, and it is a mess. we've got a lot of heavy rain, very nasty thunderstorms that have been doing a lot of damage down through the deep south. by the time this reaches us, into the overnight hours, so
