within minutes. wilmington 6:21. chester 6:42. upper darby by 6:52. very heavy rain embedded in these cells. right new they are in the seeing anything in the way of severe weather. just a really torrential downpours that will slow you down. already, reading, kutztown, between one and 2 inches have rain in haddonfield. half inch in philadelphia, newark, delaware in the so much. just a quarter inch. where we see heavy rain and reading berks county through lancaster and western parts of the chester county we have a flood advisory until 10:00 tonight for poor drainage flooding. we expect that next round to lift across these region, once again. wind are gusting to 36 in the poconos. philadelphia and wilmington, even atlantic city and 30 miles an hour. for the rest of this evening, we expect that band of heavy rain.

diagnosed with ebola we want a wrapped response team a swat team from the cdc to be on the ground, and as quickly as possible. with the ebola threat growing, philadelphia area company has been called to duty in dallas. they have a decontamination robot used to clean up after a patient there dies. >> three on your side health reporter stephanie stahl is here with the exclusive look at this a nation technology. >> interesting philadelphia connection here. stopping the spread of the deadly ebola virus is proving to be a difficult task. well, bio tech company, based here has equipment at that dallas hospital that it says will make the hospital safe after ebola patients are treated. >> this is a control panel. >> reporter: robots like this are being used in the dallas hospital trying to contain the ebola infection. it sprays hydrogen peroxide scraper that can kill viruses and other germs. >> i will introduce into a sealed room, we will get in

ebola. >> we have been preparing for an out break for such as this for last three or four months they use a verification system including chemical test strips taped to the wall to ensure that the contamination has been eliminated and that it is safe to enter the room this technology could be a big help in this out break. >> a little bit of help helps in this fight in, doubt. >> thanks much. "cbs evening news" with scott pelley will have more one bowl at in the u.s. including reaction from his nurse's cross the country, coming up next at 6:30 right after "eyewitness news". new at 6:00 claims of excessive force comes from inside a philadelphia prison. altercation is caught on tape. the officer in question has been on the job for two years and has now been disciplined but inmate's attorney says charges should have been filed so now he is suing. "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco is in the sat center with more.

>> reporter: inmate had been pepper sprayed at current fromhold prison last month and escorted to get medical attention when he says this corrections officer punched him 15 times, and then bit him surveillance video shows inn made james, being escorted for medical attention with his handcuffed behind his back. within seconds you see corrections officer james wiseback start punching him. >> an eruption takes place, unprovoke eruption, that attack includes a choke hold. >> reporter: closer look shows that choke hold, inmate also claims wiseback bit him on the back of the head, and eventually other officers to have pull wiseback off of him whose attorneys are hoping to now file, a federal is civil rights lawsuit against all involve. >> this brazen, violent behavior took place in front of the ten other co's, in in a common area of the prison where there is five other video cameras. the concern is what does this officer do in the dark corners of the prison when in one is looking.

>> reporter: corrections department disciplined wiseback for september 20th incident. it was found he used excessive force but he is back on the job. wiseback claims he threatened him, taunted him verbally and spat at him saying in a statement once he felt spit, i reacted with hard empty handed use of force. >> you cannot see officer wiseback react in anyway whatsoever that would be consistent with having to be spat upon. we think this needs to be addressed. we think there needs to be more than just in house discipline. >> corrections department would not comment on the lawsuit, they say that they are not aware of this pepper spray incident that happened beforehand, and he was treated for minor injuries. he says he has since been stripped of all privileges and never receive the medical attention that he has asked for. his attorneys will be asking the d.a.'s office to review this video and file criminal charges. live from the sat center, i'm diana rocco for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> wow, thank you very much. troubling news for a

family hoping for answers, after an autopsy, and nearly eight months of testing, officials cannot determine the cause of death for a woman found dead in a car near 30th street station. "eyewitness news" reporter walt hunter is live at 30th and market with this exclusive information, walt? >> reporter: well, chris, sadly this mystery is deepening, tonight, it was about eight months ago to the day that nadya mallic was found in the car right here at 30th and market. but after an autopsy and months of testing officials revealed to me the cause of her death is undetermine. nearly eight months after body of nadya mallic a 22 year old mother was found near 30th street station the sad mystery deepens. police now revealing an autopsy by the medical examiner, along with numerous tests performed since last february cannot determine what caused her death. >> after extensive testing and review of the case medical examiner has come back cause of manner to be undetermined.

>> reporter: lieutenant john walker says investigators along with the medical examiner did everything that they could to get answers, mallik who disappeared february 9th in the upper darby area found in her car, 11 days later. >> sat down with us for over four hours to review our case before he made his final ruling. so, he did everything in his power to determine what happened here. >> obviously a big tragedy but there is so many unanswered questions. >> reporter: mallik clothier kaleed spoke to me last march about the family's need to find out what happened making it clear he believes that someone is responsible, for his sister's death. >> absolutely foul play. >> reporter: singh, nadya's boyfriend who police say was with her around the time he was disappeared, was arrested last february for violating probation on a prior dui conviction, but he is now free after serving time in prison and under house arrest and is not charged in connection with her death. >> very complicate, very complicated, very emotional case, charged with the family

route one north and delaware county. we are seeing some drying conditions but as our vehicle continues to head toward the the north, we will be seeing heavy rain, moving your way, so get ready, here it comes, on storm scan three we are tracking it, a line of heavy rains, embedded thunderstorms as well and gusty wind and all this moving toward the north, northeast and moving into delaware county in to places like western chester county, reading berks county and here it is, coming up i-95 corridor, history of damaging wind in baltimore and washington and it all continues to lift toward the north/north east. as we zoom in here you can see through reading, lancaster, we have flooding already occurring with the flood advisory and western part of the chester county and this area that we're talking about right here in central delaware. this is moving east/northeast at 40 miles an hour, history of about 40 to 45 miles an hour wind and torrential

downpours. it will be in west goshen by 6:20. chester 6:38. philadelphia by # 01:00. camden by 7:06. some heavy rain through dover, middletown, delaware and our hail indication as well, smyrna getting hit hard. this is moving toward the north/northeast and cross over salem county, new jersey as well. we are looking at some dreary conditions out there, our live neighborhood network takes to us kutztown and you can see temperatures only in the 60's, some gusty wind as well, gusting to 28 miles an hour in philadelphia, rosemont 26, hamilton, 29, and millville still gusting to 25 miles an hour. with that damp weather, we're seeing areas of fog, poconos only, 5 miles visibility, and down a little bit in allentown and reading but elsewhere looking fairly good with some pocket of heavy rain. mild along that i-95 corridor but cool air is already spilling into our north and western suburbs where we have been rain soak today. to the west there is more cool air, so, it is showing what is on our doorstep. so we see future weather

capturing heavy rain quite well, moving through within the the next hour or so and by 11:00 or 12:00 it is quiet again. overnight three or 4:00 a.m. one more round of heavy rain and gusty wind and then by thursday morning, by 7:00, 8:00 a.m. we are talking about dry condition and the sun coming out. overnight period of rain up to 2 inches in total when all is said and done, ponding on roads where we see heavy rain from philadelphia are the in and west, poor drainage flooding expect, wind gusting to 25 to 35 and any fallen leaves will be wet, creating some slick travel. we will be seeing some dry conditions, for thursday, even into friday and saturday, and a major cool down will be getting underway with our next front moving on through. overnight we are talking about some rainy conditions, heavy rain overnight as well, low temperature is six two. lingering shower but partly sunny thursday. high of 72. on the exclusive eyewitness weather seven day forecast, big story after the rain is
