"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao is on the scene with the details on this breaking story in king of prussia, jan. >> reporter: we know that three people were inside of that car that got into the accident with the tractor trailer and police confirm that all three of these people were young adults, one of

those young adults has died this morning. take a look at the the video and you can see the scene of the accident. "eyewitness news" was there as emergency personnel transported injured to the nearby hospitals. the accident happened on the pennsylvania turnpike westbound between exit 339 and exit 333 at white marsh, montgomery county. police say three young adults were in that car around 12:30 last night and somehow there was an accident involving a car and that tractor trailer. a helicopter was requested but all were grounded due to the weather. two people were transported on the ground to abington hospital in serious condition, one person was taken to einstein montgomery in critical will condition and one person has died. police are in the saying how this accident happened and they are in the releasing the names of the person killed or the people injured. the investigation continues this morning. in the meantime that pennsylvania turnpike area, where this accident happened, it remains closed for hours last night, during this crash investigation and it has since reopen. live from the state police barracks in king of prussia,

head lines this morning one person was killed and four other young people were injured from an accident on the pennsylvania turnpike, early today. the crash involved a car and a tractor trailer westbound approaching norristown just after midnight. canadian prime minister says his country will not be intimidated and calls yesterday's shooting in ottawa an act of terrorism. mass gunman shot and killed a solder at a war memorial and then stormed parliament before he was shot and killed.

avenue. your best alternate within to take morris road at this time. as we continue, we will clear out of the way that earlier fatal accident on the pennsylvania turnpike, however, it has been replaced with another accident, in reports of it being fatal but just an accident on the eastbound side of the pennsylvania turnpike at willow grove, definitely be mindful of that if that is where you are heading. heading in the philadelphia international airport we have 95 moving swell around this part of the new jersey, looking great, delaware looking great, katie, big question is how are we looking weather-wise to go with this traffic. >> well, i would say it is still damp for sure, torey and you have preached this all the time, too where sometimes, some of the quieter weather that can get you if you are not ready for it. there will be damp roads and still those leaves packed down on the damp roads. watch out for slick spots but there are also still some showers moving in which is evident looking at storm scan three. little bit of the lull for many of us right now but looking at wider zoom on this area of low pressure you can

see that the bands of rain are sort of getting spun in with the the outside rotation here. i think some of that will survive as it rolls our way with time here. generally relevant i on is when we will have those showers around but they could still keep things damp for us through better part of the day. taking you out to live neighborhood network, temperatures are generally around 509-degree mark. we are just below in rosemont for example at hairtan high school and just a above tonight lewis, delaware. looking at regional zoom, on some of these temperatures, again, lower 50's is the story but look at the core of the cold with that area of low pressure to the east, spinning the cold air back from canada. temperatures are below freezing inialpena right now. we do not have have to worry about that kind of a temperature profile in the days ahead but we will stay in the chill here for a couple more mornings. better part of the next few mornings. as the days start to brighten up when they do it already tomorrow, we will get a chance to warm up as well throughout the day. we're back in the 60's where we should be and even into

"eyewitness news" reporter jane carabao joins us from pennsylvania state police barracks in king of prussia with more, good morning. >> reporter: erika and ukee, good morning. details are limited and still developing but we have some new numbers for you this morning. police now say that four people were injured and one person died in this late night accident on the pennsylvania turnpike, and police confirmed that all five have of these people were in side the car that got in the accident with the tractor
