people. >> what is ambiguous are direction from his cdc. >> reporter: congressman pat meehan wants answers from the cdc about property columns for ebola patients, the the concerns he said first voiced at a meeting earlier this week among hospital officials and other lawmakers. >> there was a lot of ambiguity and questions unanswered from the perspective of the health care officials. >> reporter: congressman, former u.s. attorney, now seeking reelection, wants to know what happens if, as in dallas, a hospital admits someone for ebola treatment and then finds that many other patients are starting to go to other hospitals. >> you have hospitals that are already at peak capacity, there wouldn't be ab ability for a temple to shut down and an einstein to be able to take the overflow. >> reporter: citing the new york doctor who circulated publicly after returning from africa before developing symptoms, meehan questions cdc

archdiocese and that is something that gravely concerns prosecutors here in chester county. >> the church doesn't need anymore of that type of thing. >> reporter: parishioners stun to learn with all of the scrutiny on the catholic church another priest accused of sexual abuse. >> it is a pretty clear indication of someone who just can't control their impulses and if they cannot control their impulses under that sort of scrutiny that is somebody that has got a problem. >> reporter: five five-year old mark heynes is charged with multiple counts of child sexual abuse for chester county district attorney tom hogan said in an undercover investigation, detectives discover haines set up an instagram account under the name kate toy send and receive a pair of photos. it was the tip of the iceberg. >> he had been disseminating scores of child pornography pictures. >> reporter: detectives also discover haines posed as a 16 year-old girl in a series of graphic e-mails with a 14

year-old girl. >> we now need to identify the girl, and follow-up on that investigation. >> reporter: hogan says what may be the the most troubling part of the investigation is the history of mark haines. a priest who has been stationed at eight parishes in four count business two sabbaticals since being ordained in the mid 80's. >> that is a red flag for us when a priest moves around between parishes. we are looking to see if there are any other victims out there we would like them to call the chester county detectives and let us know. >> reporter: we reached out to the archdiocese of philadelphia on who sent us this statement. quote these charges are serious and disturbing. the archdiocese is cooperating fully with law enforcement regarding this matter and remains fur vently committed to preventing child sexual boost and preteching children and young people entrusted to its care. child pornography is the scourge that must be eradicated. the d.a. tells me that the

archdiocese has been fully cooperative in this investigation. haines remains behind bars after failing to give a $200,000 for bail. that is latees from chester county, i'm steve paterson for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> steve, thank you. breaking news officials say remains found in virginia are those of missing university of virginia student hanna graham. she disappeared september 13th, those remains were found last week in a rural area a little more than 10 miles from campus. graham was last seen with three two-year old jesse leroy, matthew junior who has been charged with her abduction and also linked by forensic evidence to the 2009 killing of virginia tech student morgan harrington. residents' vac wait as flames tear through an apartment complex at voorhees, new jersey. this fire attack the roof of the complex on avalon court, you see damage there from chopper three. fire grew to two alarms before crews were able to bring it under control. twenty-fifth 20 families are receiving assistance from the american red cross.

travelers who have had contact with those who had ebola from west africa. the governors have also said a health care worker with contact with ebola patients with africa has been quarantined but she has known no symptoms. that woman landed at newark liberty airport in new jersey on friday. this apparently a new case in addition to the case of doctor craig spencer who we know is hospitalized at bellevue hospital in new york with a positive diagnosis of ebola at this hour. so again governors of new york and new jersey issuing mandatory quarantines for any travelers moving through their states who have have had contact with ebola patients. they also say that one health care worker is quarantine at this point but had has not tested positive for ebola. this is breaking news. we will bring you more as we get it. a 28 year-old accused of murdering a montgomery county man he met on craigs list had his bail revoke this afternoon. chad wilcox is accused of slashing 36 year-old manual

and caregivers she headed to the white house for a meeting with the president who reportedly gave her a hug. new york doctor was in several public locations, including on the subway before he developed, symptoms. and that has some questioning if more restrictions should be placed on health care worker returning from west africa. three on your side health reporter stephanie stahl has that part of the coverage. >> reporter: doctors without borders say that doctor spencer followed guidelines, since returning from new gunie. he was self monitoring for symptoms which means taking his temperature twice a day and watching for any symptoms, like fever, headache, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. as soon as he detect a slight fever he immediately notified authorities. >> you are not infectious until you are symptomatic. once he felt symptomatic that is when he really hungered down and made sure he didn't expose many people. >> reporter: according to the cdc only people considered high risk are quarantined, for example, having exposure to ebola patients without wearing the correct protective gear.

spencer posted a picture of himself in west africa wearing his equipment but some are questioning whether doctor spencer should have have been able to who have about so freely given his potential exposure. doctor anthony of the nih indicated possible changes could be on the way. >> that is something that is right now on the very active discussion and you will hear shortly about what the guidelines will be. >> reporter: doctors without borders encourages doctors returning from west africa to stay away from their usual jobs for 21 days which is something doctor spencer also adhered to. >> now doctor spencer's fiance and two friends who had contact with him after he developed symptoms, are in quarantine and as we just reported there has been a new announcement in that the governor has said that people in new jersey and new york health care workers coming from west africa will face mandatory quarantine. >> that is right. >> reporter: that is just developing now. >> mandatory 21 day quarantine for anyone who does that. a lot of people will be relieved to hear that.

>> yes. >> stephanie, thanks. pennsylvania state police are investigating shots fired by an officer in northampton county. all this started with a traffic stop in palmer township. police began chasing a suspect, that chase ended with a crash in easton at 13th and spring garden streets there. police opened fire on the suspects. the suspect wound up dying but the coroner has not yet ruled on the cause of death. suspect's identity has not been released nor have they talk about the reason for the initial traffic stop. new york city police officer is in critical condition after a terrifying hatchet attack. surveillance video shows the suspect running down the street and raising the hatchet just before he disappeared from the frame. he was targeting four rookie police officers walking a beat in jamaica, queens. pham the man was shot dead by officers after striking two of them with that hatchet. >> four rookie cops, just starting out their career, when the absolute unexpected

happened and we just pray for the speedy recovery of each and everyone of them. >> a second wounded officer is expect to be okay. during that gunfire, a by stand ber half block away was hit by a stray bullet, she's in stable condition. reputed former boss of the philadelphia moneys heading back to prison. today a federal judge sentenced joey merlino to another four months in prison for violating his parole. this is video of merlino from his last court a appearance earlier this month, that is when prosecutors accused him of failing to report an encounter he he had with a former co-defendant. merlino has been living in florida avenue spending a decade behind bars, following a 2001 racketeering trial. philadelphia police are searching for a suspect who held up two grocery stores on monday. take a look at this video from the s and p grocery store on king sessing avenue. suspect pointed a gun at a store employee and then got the away with cash. police say shortly after this

robbery the same suspect held up angela grocery on chester avenue. police are also searching for a suspect who used a stolen credit card, police say that suspect used a card on october 15th at season bustleton have avenue to buy a tv. just moment late their card was denied at a nearby game stop store. police say that suspect got the card from when a wallet was stolen from a car park on pine road. caught on camera in south america a bus driver takes matters in his own hands with a bat. take a look, a purse snatcher hopped on to this man's bus in chile. the thief's hand wound up getting caught in the door and that gave the driver a charge to get a few whack was his bat. bus driver drove that bus directly to the police station where the thief who wound up in tears was later arrested. >> hits torque city tavern is back in business tonight, in olde city, philadelphia restaurant at second and walnut reopened today. it closed its doors last week

six 46789 kids are done with their school week. they are ready to enjoy a beautiful fall weekend. you saw though clouds in kutztown that is what we are dealing with here, a band of clouds and in the city. we are seeing a lot of sunshine but we will see clouds moving on through. however, we have really great conditions moving in as we head through the weekend. there is that tea parting system through northern and portions of the canadian maritime provinces, northern maine, getting rain still. that is moving out of here. skies are clearing. there is that batch of clouds moving through but that is about it. lets look at future weather and see what will happen in the weekend. we will start saturday, lots of sunshine all across the northeast but what you can see here is a front. it doesn't have a lot witt. not a lot of wet weather but couple showers well off to the north. 6:00 o'clock on saturday we will see a few showers in new york state. we are sunny, dry and beautiful. as we head into saturday and sunday it comes through generally dry. a few more clouds into sunday and we will feel a gusty breeze behind that front. it will be a degree or two

cooler. not a big deal but feeling windy, sunday afternoon. temperatures right now feeling great above average in the mid to upper 60's across most of the area 59 mount pocono. wind northwesterly at ten to 15. watch what happens with the winds. as we get into tomorrow we will see win of 20 miles an hour. not a big deal. sunday behind that front wind increase so gusts could reach 30 miles an hour, curing the day on sunday. definitely a blustery day but sunny, beautiful, you'll see leaves falling and kind of swirling coming down in that fall wind on sunday. speaking of the leaves lets look at fall foliage. we have high color just to the west of philadelphia, peak in the poconos and lehigh valley. great weekend for a drive to to leaf peeping or train trips we have in our area as well. overnight mainly clear, chilly 5 degrees. tomorrow gorgeous, sunny and nice. perfect fall day. sixty-eight will be our daytime high. as we head in the eyewitness weather seven day forecast i think you'll like it. look at this sunny stretch.

children, but they think it is cool that i am. >> reporter: sam is on to a growing trend, young men are beginning to see benefits of baby-sitting compared to more traditional jobs for teen boy. >> one of them is the fact that it pays good. two it is easier than manual labor. three, it is more flexible in terms of what they can do and in terms of the hours and how they do it. you know what, four it is more enjoyable. >> reporter: pay varies based on where you live, your experience and safety training but on average for teens. >> we have seen baby-sitters charge from ten to $20 an hour depending on the amount of children they are sitting for. that is a great income when you think how it compares to the fast food job or mowing lawns or things like that. >> reporter: sometimes male sitters are preferred by parents, that is how sam ended up watching diana coal's children. >> they need sometimes the one on one time, as well as it shows the girls that it is good, it is in the just a female role but also a male role. >> reporter: role that sam
