financial field. the eagles were playing the giants but unbeknownst to many in the stadium and parking lots flying high above them was a drone taking video. police found the pilot and confiscated the drone and no charges were filed but dit prove how drones can go just about anywhere. police brought their concerns to councilman jim kenny. >> adding a new chapter, entitled unman aircraft systems. >> reporter: kenny introduced a bill thursday at city counts that i will would regulate drone use in the city. owners could not fly drones over large crowds or use them to follow people. >> we want to begin to address in the common sense way and evolve as that technology evolves going forward. los angeles is dealing with it. i'm sure new york is thinking bit and talking about it. >> reporter: nypd talked to cbs news just this week. aside from privacy concerns officials say the drones could be far more dangerous. >> chemical weapons, the technology is there which we're thinking, you know, it is and will be. >> guns. >> guns definitely we have

in an attack on the same sex couple in center city philadelphia last month. prosecutors were not able to charge suspects in that case with the hate crime because sexual orientation and gender identity are in the covered under pennsylvania law. we are already starting to fill those changes as a big chill heads our way. meteorologist kathy orr is live on the skies deck with more on this drastic drop, kathy. >> when sun was out earlier, jessica it was fairly comfortable, especially if there was not much win. now there is a breeze and i'm feeling the chill that is slowly seeping into the delaware valley. high temperature in philadelphia did make it to 60 degrees and that was fairly comfortable considering that the normal high for this time of the year is around 62 degrees. so not so bad, just a couple degree off. elsewhere around the region temperatures in the 50's. right now in philadelphia a we're sitting at 56 degrees. fifty-one in allentown. fifty-two in wilmington. fifty-four in dover. look at the poconos down in the 40's going down well in

told a fire started in a row home there one person was rescued from those flames. all three families are being assisted by the red cross. well, there is new information tonight on this deadly house fire in wilmington. authorities now say that the fire on byrne street in june where one person died and three others were injured was a case of ara son. a fire fighter was among the injured there authorities say lemont scales who died in the fire spread an accelerant and ignited it following some kind of domestic dispute. >> a young woman survives a frightening attack that sends police on a chase through northeast philadelphia. police chased a green toyota camry a mile where it crash in mayfair last night. authorities say this car was used in the abduction, of the woman, on monday, the driver of the camry dragging one of the officers. police then shot out back window of the car and suspect was taserd. police are searching for additional suspects. new security measures are

going in to place amid search for suspected cop killer eric frein. parking lot of the pennsylvania police headquarters in barrett township will get a new security fence. police chief says search for frein makes their security a top priority. officials also canceled the township's halloween parade tomorrow. frein is accused of ambushing two state troopers outside blooming grove barracks in september killing one and injuring another. "eyewitness news" in south philadelphia a today for a special event honoring a century of fallen fire fighters and a memorial plaque what's recollect at geno's steaks contains names of more than 400 people who have died serving the city of philadelphia. the memorial is the work of geno vanto and replaces weather worn path of honor created by his father the late joey vanto. people living in one camden county community have a simple message to drivers tonight, it is slow down.
