date. january, january, what have you learned? >> erika, ukee, i've learned yes, three people have been taken to the hospital including a little girl, police say, overcome by fumes in their home this morning, by carbon monoxide fumes. we're toll they have carbon monday positive. monoxide poisoning. coming here at ten, hidden hollow lane, sicklerville, fire crews had been on scene investigating, and venting the home. they've since left the scene. initial call 4:00 this morning when police got here to the home. a child answered the door, and immediately collapsed. now, three people in all were inside of this home, and were taken to the hospital. i was able to speak to the neighbor here who says they were all taken out of the house unconscious. but, police tell us all three people are now in stable condition. >> now, once they were removed, the house was metered, and very high levels of co were detected. neighbors just thankful this morning that this family is safe, include that five year old little girl. >> about 3:55, units responded

of belfield avenue over in germantown. firefighters rescued a 60 year old woman from a second floor rear bedroom. an investigation into what may have cause that fire is ongoing right now. and, off initials delaware country still working to pinpoint the cause behind this fire in chester. firefighters were called to a home at seventh and caldwell streets, just before midnight, no injuries were reported. >> jury deliberations are expected to begin today, in the trial of former philadelphia police officer, richard decoatsworth. he's charged with assaulting his girlfriend, following an explosive argument in may of 2013. de coat worth testified he accidentally hit his girlfriend in the mouth, while trying to knock away a brick she was holding. he contend he never meant to hurt her. >> well, the eagles are getting ready for prime time showdown with the carolina panthers later tonight. now the player to watch is quarterback mark sanchez, a solid bet, making hirst start in almost two years, now that nick foles is side lined with that broken collarbone. hear what merrill reese the

can. because eventually some very cold air is going to be settling in for our area. we've been talking about it for about a week now, so, yes, the rumors are true. but for now, enjoy this. storm scan3, you know, it is very much just quiet. thin vale of clouds up across southeastern pennsylvania, difference in the temperatures little more pronounce the out through new jersey simply because clearer sky than what we saw yesterday this same time. so that's allowed temperatures to drop off more readily. mount pocono actually warmer if you call 37 warm, but warmer by comparison to atlantic city. that's simply a product of the lack of cloud cover. so, depending on your location this morning, you're generally in the 30's, but might not be as harsh as it is say down toward eastern new jersey, but, around the region we go here. with temperatures back into the low 60s this afternoon, full sunshine, high pressure to thank for it, and that's going to be running theme for us, even as we look ahead to tomorrow. so, the first two days back to work and school are lovely. but it does not last. so enjoy it while you can.

student killed in a suicide bombing at a high school. dozens more were hurt in the blast. survivors say the bomber was disguise in the school uniform. another suicide bomb killed 30 people in the same city, last week. erika? >> ukee, 6:06 right now. this morning, home own nerve delaware has a gaping hole in the side of her home. check it outright there. that happened after a car came crashing through the wall. investigators are trying to figure out exactly how this happened. they say the driver hit a park car, in hokessing, new castle county. the impact caused that vehicle to fly into the second story of that home. "eyewitness news" reporter matt rivers surveyed the damage. >> the car went fast enough when it hit this park truck, it went airborne, flying into the second story of this who can he is inch delaware home. >> shock. i mean, not something you see every day. but we at first thought perhaps the tree had fallen. >> that home belongs to linda, she was inside with one of her

children when it happened, but both are okay. they were safely on of the other side the house when the sedan burst through the wall. apparently not easy thing to do. >> nice strong structure. this is not a modern construction. >> up the street from linda's how see where it first went wrong. car laid down tracks as it went off the road. headed straight toward the home. the resulting crash echoed across the quiet neighborhood. john anderson's wife heard it. >> she thought we had a thunderstorm, like she heard the crash. >> the 27 year old driver was taken to the hospital, and will likely be okay. police haven't said what caused the crash yet. but neighbors say people regularly ignored the speed limit. >> 35 miles an hour, and and they're running through around 50, 55. >> whether speed played a role, will be decided later. sunday night, linda's house had to be cut open, the hole made wide tear drag out the car inside. but as bad as it looks, linda says it, could have been far worse.

same system is going to make our way, it way, down to the area. brian web tracks this new blast of arctic air. roads in north dakota were covered in snow, overnight, fueled by what is left of typhoon muri, the storm that brought strong winds and heavy waves to the islands in alaska this weekend, now pulling frigid air along with it, plunging much of the midwest into a deep freeze. in minneapolis, transportation crews are preparing for heavy snow during monday morning commute. expected to blanket the area, with up to a foot before it is finished. >> will this be all maintaining the roadways for the traffic? and we'll keep at the volume if we need to. >> meteorologists say heavy snow will hit states from montana to michigan, freeze warnings, are even expected to dip south all the way to states like oklahoma and texas. later this week, the system moves here to new york and other parts of the northeast,

working, fire crews are trying to determine the exact cause of this fumes, but, they say, they likely came from basement heater, gas company has since been on the grounds, here, in sicklerville, and shut off that heater, and this house has been secured. this neighborhood again just happened to be this family is alive, tell me the homeowner here pastor of local church, he lives here with his wife and that five year old little girl. and they move around a lot. only in the neighborhood about a year because of the work they do, just thankful this morning that they will, at one point, return to their home. coming to you live from sicklerville, jan carabeo. >> thank you for. that will also this morning two, men in the hospital following a family dispute. authorities in chester county say one pulled a gun on the other. police arrived at a home on summit avenue in paoli where they found victim who said he was shot by a family member, john richard berry. officers eventually track down berry, to house down the street. we spoke to neighbor, who was one of the first to call 911. >> that was the first time i

heard the pow, pow, pow. i saw a gentleman, walking up the street in the process of this shooting incident, and i thought that was kind of weird. so i got back on the phone, and i called 911 again, because i saw the gentleman standing on the porch. and that freaked me out. >> that as officers approached berry, he turned the gun on himself. he and victim returned to pray old i hospital in critical condition. >> 6:33, here's your traffic and weather together. katy? >> good morning, everybody there is will end up being pretty pleasant day for us, offer to bit of chilly start, but virtually no winds out, there so what you see is in fact what you will get on the thermometer, in terms of how it actually feels outside. but, let's walk you through this. you know, we've got very pleasant weather to start things off for the week ahead, but it is a temporary warm up, that we're getting and temporary spell of real pleasant conditions. now, storm scan3, is quiet, do have nothing more than very thin vale of cloud cover. that's allowing temperatures to drop off more readily than

steve patterson picks up the story. >> reporter: looking for a way to heal. >> really has torn the community up. >> reporter: if you live in chester county, at the very least, probably heard the story of scotty and ryan mcmillan. for some here, it is paralyzing. >> the whole story has been like heart wrenching the last couple of days for the whole community. >> reporter: prosecutors say the boys were vick in a series of horrifying beatings and torture sessions at the hands of their own mother and her boyfriend. three year old scotty died. six year old ryan is now staying with a aunt. >> my husband and i have just been thinking about, you know, we wish we could do something. so when we heard about this, you know, we jumped on the opportunity. >> opportunity came sunday in the form of a flatbed truck. >> i immediately probably just start to tear up. like we need to do something. >> organizer janice baker, sever described motorcycle mom, with the infamous riders of chester county, got her boys off the road and in a police station parking lot
