platt to get back toward the schuylkill, between nine a.m. and 3:00 p.m., we are experiencing the closure of the eastbound side of the platt bridge as a result of construction, so as we head now to the maps, let's, again, gave you a better idea of what you're dealing w eastbound platt is closed, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. today, due to overhead repairs, so, best thing to do between that time to just stay on 95, and use the girard point bridge. as we continue, going to move things along through the 30 bypass, traveling eastbound, westbound, no delays around business route 30 or anywhere. still waiting on the rush. as we take a look at the 42 freeway, northbound, waiting on the rush but starting to feel just a little bit more volume out there. it does seem to be we have disabled vehicle on the southbound side of the 42, this shot here, at creek road. if you are traveling regional rail lines, for septa, they're experiencing minor delays due to slippery rales. note that this morning, ukee? >> vittoria, thank you. drivers also took it east any delaware county during our first flakes of the season.

"eyewitness news", spotted snow in montgomery, chester counties, and beyond last night. those snowflakes covered the last blooming flowers of the season, how symbolic. penndot says it is prepared to having more than 110,000 tons of salt on hand to treat the roads, and we also spotted folks beefing up their own supplies, buying shovels, scrapers, many say they're being prepared much earlier this season shall specially last year's harsh winter still fresh in mine. >> this year, we ordered a lot more salt, shovels, calcium, you know, and we try to gauge what we think the winter will be. >> awesome. i'm excited for the season, good to see it little earlier, but yes, definitely looking forward to the snow coming out. >> yes, he really likes to ski, a loft people like to skate. why not try out the newest one in town? dilworth park, here at the ice ring, starts at noon today, and it runs through february,

diana rocco spoke exclusively with the store own here called the hit the work of professionals. a high priced jewel heist in the city's diamond district. four thieves are caught on camera, first casing the store, walking up and down the sidewalk, then making a go for it. >> they cut my gate, spread it apart, smashed the front window, went in and smashed win case and opened another case and took off with about three, $400,000 worth every jewelry. >> gone by the time his manager arrived, seven minutes later. >> they were fast. i felt rings and jewelry all over the street that they dropped running away. >> video shows the suspect running to their get-away car late model white infinity. police are now looking for two men, and two women, barski thinks they've done this before. >> they wore gloves, and they definitely were here before, because they hit my one big case. >> barski and other jewelers on the block have started

traveling our majors not awful, but it is about that time. 6:45, where we start to see just rush hour volume pick up in pockets. like, 95 southbound around girard, 76, city avenue. >> but let's talk about the burlington bristol bridge, expecting a opening in five minute. again, 6:20 is the myfoxphilly.com mat opening time. we will continue to keep you updated on, that but if that's where you're headed this morning you may run into that problem. as we take a lock at the schuylkill, not awful, but again those pockets are ever so slightly starting to develop. we're still dealing with speed censors up into the 50's, in areas, but, something to watch out for, as we continue to move through this morning. if you are traveling in new jersey, on the new jersey turnpike, southbound, just beyond 322, the right lane block, as a result after accident. pretty serious accident there. also, weaver a disable vehicle on 202 northbound at the off ramp to 76 eastbound. the last time i looked at this in one of the cameras it, almost looks like it was abandoned. not seeing any major delays as a result that far, but you will notice that off towards the should fer that's where you're headed.

reporting live in center city, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> thank you, so what casino. ice skating wet letter we have today? >> pretty much picture perfect, dealing with the coal, little winds out, there but it is cold, and that's what would you want, i would think, if you are trying to embrace winter, definitely feels like december. we give that you much. but cold day for us out there, guys. we take to you storm scan3, retreat of the system that brought in the rain and the mixing of course, and some of the snowflakes, that way we just saw in jan's story there. but clearing out nicely for sunshine, and that sun is about ready to pop over the horizon, not quite doing so just yet. the light every day is out there. that said, you know, you have these aftermath issues in the way of wet leaves, perhaps wet roadways still left over, even though the breeze may be helping to dry that out at this point. i still want to caution you, if you see any what look to be just wet patches, they may even have the possibility to ice over briefly here before the sun comes up and helps dry that away with of course the breeze kicking in, too.

year old man. he was found un respond i have on the side after road last thursday afternoon. that man was wearing a red shirt and a black jacket. uber x won two year license for its riding sharing service in much of pennsylvania, but not in philadelphia, though. uber x locked hospitals with the city parking authority. ppa says the company is operating illegally in the city, with no government oversight on pricing and safety. the agency has been impounding vehicles saying they operate like unlicensed taxies. >> you wouldn't want to be in a regulate -- you would want to be in a regulated cab when something happens. we know who they are. we can track them down. we know everyone that is driving and everyone that owns a car. >> we were real helpful they would be too long sit down and work out sensible regulations. we met with them to discuss that. >> battle over uber x continues, more expensive versions known as uber has
