lets check that forecast. it has been a chilly week, carol. are we in for warm up news. >> we will fine these temperatures. yesterday they stopped in the 30's. that is how cold it has been. today we will get in the 40's, 50's, maybe 70 degrees, does that sound good to you? we have that on the seven day forecast. lets take a look and find a fairly nice looking morning to start the day. it is 28 degrees through philadelphia, ben franklin bridge looking very nice. we have 24 degrees, that is out in reading at this point this morning no wind to speak of. it is just a bright morning in all locations. it is a quiet one. you can see on storm scan three we don't have any clouds and we are not dealing with any problem whatsoever this morning. it looks like a mostly dry weekend although sunday night we will pick up rain chances around here. 25 degrees is the temperature at the airport. twenty-two in trenton. twenty-five in wilmington. just 15 in the poconos. seventeen in allentown. it is another cold morning. be sure to bun will up, and

make sure your pets are as warm as you are because look what we factor in the wind we have out here. it feels like 17 degrees in philadelphia right now and in allentown. 16 degrees is how it feels out in trenton this morning. we have temperatures that will warm up, though, yesterday we stopped at 37 degrees. today by noon we're passed that at 40 degrees. by 3:00 p.m. 45 degrees. very dry air out there too. dew points down in the teens. we have a dry air measure. you can probably tell just by your skin how dry it is out there. by to 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon clouds to start to come in the area. we have a fairly nice weekend but it has a lot of other features and then we will talk about the holiday week as well, nicole. >> carol, thank you. and new this morning detectives in delaware county are investigating an early morning home invasion. "eyewitness news" on the 6600 block of church lane in upper darby just after 1:00 o'clock. authorities are still working

to determine what was taken so far there is no word on any injuries. philadelphia police are call to the fair hill section of north philadelphia, where a man was stabbed just after 2:00 o'clock. authorities say victim was stabbed once in the back at westerly high avenue and north american street. he was rushed to temple hospital where he remains in critical condition. that investigation is underway to determine if robbery may have been the motive. a gruesome accident in montgomery county leads one person dead and sends four others to local hospitals. chopper three over the scene there at easton and county line roads in horsham friday night where two cars collided around 8:00 o'clock. police tell "eyewitness news" one victim was flown to temple hospital and rest were taken to abington. we are working to get you more information on the victims and an update on the condition. new details right now in the burlington county tragedy that claimed two young lives and left a third child in critical condition. investigators now say they know what happened but they cannot say why.

"eyewitness news" reporter matt rivers is in tabernacle, new jersey. >> reporter: small group of volunteers came to the house around 8:00 just visible through drawn shades. they were clearing a second floor bedroom after a crime seemingly, unthinkable just two days ago. it was late afternoon when we first learn the details, thursday morning after 5:00 but before 9:00, 44 year old jeaninne lepage grabbed a revolver and pillow. she shot each of her children, using pillow to muffle the noise. then she shot her early is. >> all four victims were found in the same bed. >> reporter: that is where another relative found them and called 911. fourteen year-old nick harriman and his eight year old sister nadia were killed. their 11 year old brother alex is in critical condition with their mother jeaninne both in cooper hospital in camden. >> motive is not what we can talk about today. we may never know with certainty. >> reporter: it depends if jeaninne le page survives f

she does she will be charged with murdering at least two of her children. it is something that the children's father is dealing w he lives in maryland but his girlfriend tribe the moment police broke the news. >> he just broke down. he broke down who arably. it was a horrific shock. >> reporter: shock felt throughout this small community especially on the street where it all happen this woman's granddaughter played with eight year-old nadia all the time. >> it is hard for me right now because when i sit on my son's porch and look out her window, i can picture her running by waving at me. >> reporter: we know there will be another vigil held to pray for this family. that vigil set for sun day night at 6:30 outside tabernacle township town hall. we are outside red lion state police barracks, matt rivers, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". investigators are working to determine the cause of this fire in burlington county. eyewitness cam video shows the flames raging from inside a home on chris pen road in lumberton there were no reported injuries.

and more eyewitness video here shows a close call for penn state students when their bus catches fire on the pennsylvania turnpike. it happened late last night in the eastbound lanes near morgan town. state police tell cbs-3 that everyone made it off safely. that is really good news. there is no word where students were headed or what cause that had fire. traffic, of course, was tied up for miles but lanes are reopened this morning. fbi arrested two men and charged them with buying explosives, they allegedly planned to use during possible protestness ferguson. that town is on the alert as ate weights a grand jury decision on whether or not to indict officer darren wilson for shooting and killing 18 year-old michael brown. correspondent omar villafranca reports the decision could come any day. >> i expect the best of people. >> reporter: st. louis county executive charlie dual i is optimistic about public reaction to the grand jury's decision on whether to indict ferguson officer darren

villafranca for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". as he faces new scrutiny over old sexual assault allegations bill cosby was back on stage in florida and received a standing ovation. comedian performed at a theater in the city of melbourne. while the show went on cosby has had shows canceled in six different states, all because several women have have come forward accusing the entertainer of sexually a a all thing them many years ago. cosby lawyers calls the claims unsubstantiated and absurd. philadelphia woman is finally reunited with her dogs seven weeks after he disappeared. louie is safe and sound at home we're happy to report. his owner jj pierce is, of course, thrilled to have her black lab mix bag. the dog was inside her honda when it was stolen from the parking lot outside the home depot on columbus boulevard in south philadelphia. jj describe the moment she was reunited with her dog. >> he walked right up to me

and just being with me and took sometime i realized they had were telling will me in the background he has been scanned, this is him. this is confirmed to be him, but i knew it, you know, as soon as he walk up. >> ahh, so sweet, it is unclear where louie was this entire time, seven weeks but we do know two people got in touch with some members of the search party to say they have found a dog matching louie's description. louie was taken to the vet where they confirmed his identity and he was of course reunited with his owner jj pierce. louie lost about 15 pounds but is otherwise in good health. sleeping like a baby there. love to see that. marathon weekend is underway here in philadelphia, 60,000 spectator will be cheering for 30,000 runners, it will be quite the crowd. now many of those runners pick up their race number and other materials at the pennsylvania convention center. independence mall, the liberty bell, kelly drive and start and finish lines at the art

peter bloom hired 14 men to clear the heavy snow off of his building. how much snow do you think was up there on that roof. >> there was probably 4 feet, four to 5 feet. >> reporter: this part of the new york got 75 inches of snow and a lot of that is sitting on rooftops. so far there have have been at least 30 cave-ins. gabriel carterilla has been working on this home for three hours. >> right now even with the little snow blower i have on the roof it is only taking off the top two or 3 feet. rest of it you have to almost pry off it is like a rock. >> reporter: temperatures is expect to be in the 60's this weekend. crews are racing to clear the streets. officials turn this parking lot in the dumping ground for the snow. in one trip, john miller, can carry 20-ton. >> a lot of snow, a huge under taking. how many trips have you made. >> between ten and 20. >> reporter: when this huge removal effort, major flooding

it will be warmer than. that lets look at what we have out there right now. 23 degrees in reading at this point. it was a start to come up at 2 miles an her but notice they are out of the southwest and starting to see a warming trend today. finally, we have storm scan three not showing really anything going on at all in our area. we expect sticky but dry here today, tomorrow, during the daylight hours but by sunday night it looks like we could be dealing with some showers early on monday morning, and maybe an inch or so of rain in some spots. 25 degrees, for our temperature right now, 22 trenton. twenty-five in wilmington. in the teens to the north, 15 in the poconos, 17 degrees in allentown. 21 degrees down in the wildwood area. now, we do have some weather, of note, we have temperatures that will be climbing. we have had 50 degrees on thursday, 37 degrees yesterday, today probably about 45 degrees. we will get in the middle 50's by the time we get into sunday and monday these temperatures

sky rocket. temperatures getting to 70 degrees or so ash here. are close to the record. the record in philadelphia is 72 degrees. we may reach it, we may get close, even if we're challenging it i think everybody will enjoy it. considering we have seen such cold weather and our temperatures for the month of november so far have been running 3 degrees below average. warm day. these are the the records. these are not what we're necessarily expecting but we he shouldn't be that far from it. other problem with monies the rain, morning rain, with a slow commute in the morning and wind coming up, warm direction, southwest but they are gusting to 35 miles an hour. air temperature though 70 degrees. that old record of 71 degrees was setback in 1979. now, this next week of course is gigantic holiday getaway time per. wouldn't you know we have what could be a coastallal low, maybe it is far away, maybe it isn't, it may be nothing, may be something more significant

all day. 35 degrees tonight, and then next couple of days, the temperatures are all over the place, 70 on monday. tuesday 55. wednesday could be a wet day at 45. thanksgiving a at this .44 and dry and friday, 45 degrees. nicole. >> not bad, carol thank you. an investigation is underway at nation's busiest airport after a shuttle bus collide with the airplane's right wing. passengers and eyewitnesses snapped photos at shortfield jackson atlantic international airport. american airlines flight 232 just a arrived from dallas when a delta shuttle will hit a wing. all further flights were canceled for that plane. there were no reports of any injuries. now to a horrifying fall will from a building and witnesses saw it all take place from the ground. a san francisco window washer plumeted 11 stories and hit a moving car on the street before falling to the ground. andrea talk to the driver of the car and has more on how the window washer is alive but

today, it is saturday november between the second good morning, thanks so much for joining us, i'm nicole brewer. 5:30 right now. let check a forecast and we're in for a warm up, right, carol. i like the sound of that. we should-in the middle 50's and should have been in the middle 50's every single day for weeks now but you know how cold it has been. today we will be in the middle 40's but that is an improvement over friday when the temperatures were in the middle 30's. lets take a look and see what we have right now. center city philadelphia looks nice. it is quiet. but it is really cold. 29 degrees downtown right now in center city philadelphia. we will head out to the palmyra cove nature park in new jersey and it is dark out there of course. 26 degrees is the temperature. wind southwest at 5 miles an hour. southeasterly direction wind however will be the ones that will save us temperatures wise. not just today but over next couple of days. storm scan three nothing going

went through. as our walt hunter shows us his ordeal may be over but why it took so long remains a mystery. >> i just put my faith in god. >> reporter: nineteen year-old tamayo mcduffy told me how he survived seven months behind bars accused of a crime that he did not commit. >> i thought about the same thing every day, when i am going home. >> when i see him with that orange jump suit on when he came out of there, that broke my heart. >> reporter: mcduffy's mother remembers her first visit held in half million-dollar bail, on charges he had broken in to a blind woman's home on his block, turning on the gas jets as he left, have after being routed by her service dog. >> went to prison for nothing. that is immoral. >> reporter: first adams and friend raised money to get mcduffy released on bail but that joyful reunion came with a terrible financial cost. >> you lose your house, your car, you lose your life, you

know, you are broke. >> reporter: once free it would be 11 more months until just this past thursday before the cloud of suspicion was lifted. d.a. asking a judge in court to drop all charges. >> it was a great feeling when they said it was dismissed. >> i jumped for joy. >> reporter: district attorney's office says it approved arresting mcduffy based on evidence but following his hearing where a judge found him held for trial questions arose. prosecutors developed additional evidence raising substantial concerns about the victim's prior history, and visual acute. >> i didn't understand why anybody didn't try to investigate more. >> get back in school. i'm a father now so i'm raising my son. i will be the best father i can be. >> reporter: mcduffy's mother says she wants an apology from the district attorney. pol guys for my son for not looking into that. you call your self the d.a. that wants to fight for

justice and protect people, you didn't protect my son at all. >> reporter: while would the man who filed the complaint has not been available for comment, mcduffy's attorney says he believes that she fabricated the entire story, meanwhile, neither the district attorney's office or police will say the case has been officially closed, however, beyond exonerating mcduffy there is no indication that they plan to move forward with the investigation. the at the district attorney's office, walt hunter, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". well, police are asking for the public's help to catch a knife wielding suspect who stabbed a with man to death in delaware county. violence happened on the 700 block of engel street in chester. police say gwennlynn williams was stab in the chest area on the treat early friday morning. she was able to get to a friend's house where she died. there is no word on a motive for that attack. an elderly woman is in serious condition after she was pulled from a burning home in gloucester city, camden county. the flames broke out on the 700 block of highland avenue

friday morning. chopper three was over the scene there a second person was also in the home where the fire broke out and was taken to the hospital for observation. three dogs died in that fire, officials say that they are working, there were no working smoke detectors in that house, the causes under investigation a touching tribute to the number fire fighter killed in the line of duty. lieutenant chris hunter died last saturday 24 hours after responding to an emergency call. family and friend gathered at the cinnaminson fire station yesterday. after a solute, his flag draped coffin was loaded on to a fire truck. chopper three was overhead as long motorcade made its way to the cemetery for that burial. well, tuesday's fire in north wildwood has claimed a second life, cape may county fire coordinate or arc trythan died after fighting this fire on west 17th avenue. body of 36 year-old lynn a martin was found inside. officials believe the fire began accidentally while martin was handling her

kerosene heater. well, philadelphia police want the public's help identifying a suspect stole a package from outside a home in south philadelphia. take a look at this surveillance video. on november 14th a woman approached a home on reid street and stole a package left by a post office behind a storm door. if you look closely you can see that reflection of the van window. the suspect was last seen walking away east on reid street. well, just in time for your weekend plans a new trend in dining opens up in philadelphia but not food that has everybody talking. our diana rocco has details from fishtown. >> the dishes are plated to perfection, and so far, so are the reviews. >> you'll find a fish, pasta, salad, and things that you normally are used to and normally that you love, but we have found ways to make them more tasty and special. >> reporter: what has everyone talking about the fishtown

on the healthwatch, people drink a lot actually alcoholics. federal health officials say no. health reporter stephanie stahl has details on the new report. kerry janssen does not think having a few drinks after his shift is a big deal. >> i probably drink at least five to six nights out of the week. >> reporter: new study from the centers for disease control finds nine out of ten people who drink excessively are not alcoholics. >> the conventional wisdom now has been that most people drink too much, have the disease of alcohol dependens or alcoholism. >> reporter: excessive drinking is defined as consuming eight or more drinks a week for women or 15 or more for men. it can lead to health issues including cancer, liver and heart disease, and it is responsible for 88,000 deaths in the u.s. each year. >> excessive alcohol use is a huge public health problem in the united states. it kills, a large portion of people in the prime of their

point today. now what we expect, we've got temperatures that will be climbing, and they will be climbing in a major way, yesterday 37. today in the middle 40's. tomorrow we will get in the middle 50's and then we could be at 70 degrees on monday with these temperatures on monday rivalling the records. we will find temperatures that are, warm, around here on monday. but also on monday, we will deal with some rain. we've got heavy rain, slowing that morning commute down, wind coming from the southwest is the reason why we're so warm. they are coming out of the southwest, 15 to 25 miles an hour gusting to 35 miles an hour. the temperature will be around 70 degrees here. the record is 71. setback in 1979. the the other thing we are watching and this is for wednesday and it is a coastal system that may or may in the develop. it may go away, away and we don't to have deal witt. it may come close-up to the coast and that may be impact on wednesday the get away day with rain and inland maybe a
