saw a lot last year, too. but what we've got out there right now, strictly rain, way too warm for anything but, but definitely producing some very poor visible, from our roof camera, at least, tan will dot same for you if you don't have your windshield wipers ready to go. you can still see the tops of the skyscrapers, so while there are some clouds out there, not solo to the ground that it will hinder your visibility. just too much wind for that. look at this persistent winds. straight out of the south. at 26 miles per hour, current temperatures, 63 degrees, and high humidity, i can a test to that, feels very clammy outside. very sticky. meanwhile, storm scan3, hey, at least the bulk of this rain is starting to sort of just mover out of our area, at this point, we do still have some lingering showers, obviously, but, this is pretty much the back edge of this warmfront. which is very strong. so, as we continue to track this, movement, we do eventually end up with skies clearing nicely, by 3:00 p.m., kids are getting out of school, get some sunshine, and still nice and warm, we expect those daytime highs to flirt with and probably break record

highs here, in a couple of spots, tuesday's quiet, then we get to wednesday, and look what is on the horizon, new system moving in, mixing with sleet, and snow, important to keep in mind, this is just a model, but it does give us at least a indication of what's on the way here, that will be our next coastal storm. currently at 63 degrees, at philly international. pretty mile around even the rest of the region here, low 60s, generally what you're finding, but, as we go through the day, expect these temperatures to climb all the way to 72 degrees. and that would officially break the daily record at least in philadelphia, by that point, as i mention, starting to see some sunshine breaking through the clouds, so the second half of the day looks so much nicer than the first, breeze to contend with granted but looks like decent afternoon, for our area, and, hey, guys, if you ever want to keep on top of anything weather, you can always update or download our latest weather app. you can download it right now on itunes and google play. good stuff.

jess, over to you. >> thanks, katie. good morning, everybody, look, 72 degrees, that will be interesting. 5:33, we go outside, check out 95, so, shortly after 3:00 a.m., obviously this morning, there was accident, pretty serious accident i might add on 95 northbound, now completely closed, since that time, between the blue route and 320. you can see the southbound lanes moving along nicely there. but due to the accident, 95 northbound, again, closed at 320, your alternate to get around therefore the time being is to take 291, that runs parallel next to 95, and then you can access 95 from ridley park for the time being. now, over on the westbound vine st. expressway, approaching the schuylkill expressway, we have an accident, on the ramp headed toward the eastbound schuylkill expressway. if that makes sense there. so, on the ramp you can see police activity on the scene there involving a tractor-trailer, another car, trying to get that cleaned up, and out of the way for right now. now over on the northeast extension northbound at quakertown another crash pushed to the right-hand side.

currently 95 southbound not having any problems, is a zero saw part of it in the camera. woodhaven into the vine st. expressway about 14 minute trip and 15 minute on the eastbound schuylkill expressway from the blue route into the vine looking good so far. erika, ukee, back over to you. >> thank you, update that breaking news you were just talking about jess this morning in chester delaware count. >> i that deadly accident shuts down the stretch of northbound i95, near exit four. let's get you more information right now, our david spunt live on the scene, good morning, david. >> reporter: high, ukee, erika, listen, right now still very active scene. i'll back out of the way. state police have been coming to ever bread truck, we assume making delivery. checking out their flashlights, been here two minute or so, also suv in the background, it is authorities see right now from where we are. we're looking at the accident through a fence, but all of the 95 north is closed, it's been like this since a little bit after 3:00. as jessica was saying little earlier, closed at exit four. we're at exit six. no improvement on that front. as far as what somebody was

doing on 95, we still don't know exactly what that person was doing out there. but we can confirm one fatality, one person has died, on 95, state police still out here investigating, still no word, though, on when 95 will open. ukee, erika? >> david, we will get back to you shortly, thank you. other news this morning, police hope surveillance video will provide clues as they investigate the discovery after woman's body in south philly. homeless man told "eyewitness news", he made the discovery on columbus boulevard near dilworth street yesterday afternoon. police say the woman had laceration on her rib cage, although, there is still no official cause of death. >> happening today, the former head of the montgomery county republican party goes on trial. robert concerns is accused of assaulting a former co-worker after a night of drinking last year. he was originally charged with rape, but those charges were dropped. concerns opted to have a judge decide his fate instead of a jury. time 5:35. in business news this morning,

the grand jury reconvenes today. officer darren wilson shot and killed the un arm teenager in august. meanwhile authorities are bracing for possible violence. governor jay nixon has declared a state of emergency, and some of the national guard to send troops to the area. >> some scary months in london after small fire breaks out in a underground train station. check the flames outright here. emergency crews responded to fire in a front train carriage in london's, and investigators say electric can prole may have sparked those flames. firefighters evacuate that train station, and it did reopen short time later, and luckily, no injuries were report. but still once you're underground seeing that, frightening. >> check this out. massive fire lighting up the sky in arizona. this fire burning at the mulch and food wood facility in arizona, expected to burn for few more days. the flames can be seen for miles. crews tried to get control of that fire over the weekends, but decided to let it burn after several failed attempts.

his home in green port, new york, 21 year old jonathan laurence. they were last seen in a dodge or chrysler mini-van with temporary connecticut tax. investigators reviewing security tape from buses near columbus boulevard and dilworth street after the discovery after woman's body. the victim has not been identified. >> lots every tired legs in philly after thousands of runners laced up and hit the street for the city's 21st annual marathon. dan, from massachusetts, crossed the finish line first. his unofficial time was about two hours and 17 minutes. how about that? now, lenora ran the fastest time for women. finished the race in about two hours 40 minutes. impressive on its own. but did you know this was her first marathon ever? she beat everyone else on her first try. well done. now if you want to know who you everyone else did we have those results for you at cbsphilly.comment talk about perfect day to go for a run yesterday, a whole lot better than this morning, katy?

>> so, so true. yes, that was basically ideal running conditions, because it was just cool enough, that it kept comfortable, i think, for that entire stretch. well done everybody. so proud and happy to have you here. meanwhile, we check in with the eyewitness weather watcher network, temperatures very mild across most of the board here, getting a lot of 62 readings, 64 degrees, as we go smack dab in the center here, ron russell sent that one in. he's been seeing the rain, high humidity as you might imagine, in riverside, and basically, everybody's had to deal with some of the very heavy rain through the overnight. i do have a lot to talk about down the road here. we get right over to storm scan next. i want to show you what's happening here currently, as we watch the back edge of the brunt of the rain pull out. so there is a discontinuing back edge where you have actually dried out here through the central suburbs of pennsylvania, but, we're still dealing with some residual showers. it is not quite as widespread, however, the bulk of the rain obviously now becoming more of a northern new england concern. but this warmfront is really, really strong. so it has got a strong win associated with it, straight

out of the south, and that's going to keep the temperatures very high today. then we get to wednesday. and that will be our next storm system. it has yet to develop. but tomorrow night, it will be forming, over the gulf of mexico. and all depending on its final track, how much cold air we can wrap in, it will be either mainly rain producer, or heading further inland it will be something that mix withing snow maybe some sleet too. so, right now, it appears as though it is that latter solution that will be the norm for our area here. we looking at rain and snow, basically, around philly and the immediate vicinity, and it prickerly will be a snow producer off across the lehigh valley and the pocono region. that will said, likely see some sleet mixing in as colder air moves in for down the shore, southern new jersey, but you would primarily n looking at rain event out of. >> this again, still some question marks, the storm hasn't even developed yet. so, until that happens, we'll have more answers for you by then. records to beat today, pretty high. we have real good shot to do it, upper 60s, low seven's, generally the norm, in philly it is seven; shooting for 72

well a reason why a lot of philadelphia to atlantic city is because it's so close, it's like a quick getaway. the ocean is a big draw. you can come and get some exercise, get some ice cream. love to come to the casinos, get some good food, put your feet in the water, and of course fishing. i love to fish off the pier. i'm a great fisherman. flounder, sea bass, striped bass, you name it, i'll eat it. and you can, like i say, be home within an hour. done it many times.

>> windy out there earlier. how is it now, katy? >> sort of coming through in gusts intermittently, thankfully don't need the umbrella, do you have hold a clicker, an umbrella at the same time. have very, very warm, nice warming trend, that's underway, as well. and the reason weaver the rain in the first place, courtesy of very strong warmfront. we start things off quickly here is a look at storm scan3, another look at the localized zoom where, i mean, this is saturated air mass, guys t feels very, very steamy out here on the skydeck, we zoom it out, though, and the bulk of the rain may have woken you up in the middle of the night actually pulling away at this point. while we may still have lingering shower, all you are really left with at this point is the wind and it starts to kick in right on cue, and some lingering showers, as well. now the wind, again, becomes our most noticeable weather feature here as the day goes on, along with the warmth. look at the expected high here. 72 degrees, the record was last set on this day in 1979, when we hit 71, in philly, and
