>> windy out there earlier. how is it now, katy? >> sort of coming through in gusts intermittently, thankfully don't need the umbrella, do you have hold a clicker, an umbrella at the same time. have very, very warm, nice warming trend, that's underway, as well. and the reason weaver the rain in the first place, courtesy of very strong warmfront. we start things off quickly here is a look at storm scan3, another look at the localized zoom where, i mean, this is saturated air mass, guys t feels very, very steamy out here on the skydeck, we zoom it out, though, and the bulk of the rain may have woken you up in the middle of the night actually pulling away at this point. while we may still have lingering shower, all you are really left with at this point is the wind and it starts to kick in right on cue, and some lingering showers, as well. now the wind, again, becomes our most noticeable weather feature here as the day goes on, along with the warmth. look at the expected high here. 72 degrees, the record was last set on this day in 1979, when we hit 71, in philly, and we're obviously making real

good run for records with temperatures like this, starting off in the low 60s after all, in philadelphia, at the airport, 61 currently in atlantic city, and even flirting with 60 up at mount pocono, hard to believe, that we might be tracking some snow later in the week. but, we will, in the meantime, today, is definitely a day of transition for us here, we sort of sit between fronts, cold front sweeps through later today. but it is very weak by comparison. soap, in the meantime, we have a chance to start drying out, little bit here, through the afternoon. but we also have to deal with the breeze most of the day. 72 degrees, however, the expected high. nice and warm, and certainly feeling more like spring than anything. jess? >> thanks, i feel like it waits until you come full screening there, and then the winds blows, every single time. >> absolutely does every time. >> it knows, it no, sir. thank you, katie, good morning, everyone, just after 6:00 a.m. we go out, check out how things are doing on 95. soap, southbound lanes are where the headlights are, fortunately, all lanes there are open. and seem to still be moving

along great. on the northbound lanes, there, between blue route and 320, completely closed due to fatal accident that happened shortly after 3:00 a.m. earlier this morning. so, again, northbound lanes are closed at 320. your alternate for the time being is to take 291, which run parallel to 95, then access 95, from ridley park, no over on 422 just past 29, the eastbound lanes here, involving an accident, here, you can see police activity on the scene. fortunately, push over into the left hand shoulder there. and everything still squeezing on by, slowly, to the right-hand side, headed eastbound. and then we go over to, excuse me, the vine st. expressway, where you can see everything completely slammed solid, headed westbound, approaching the schuylkill expressway. because there is an accident just up ahead where you can see some flashing lights there headed eastbound, off the eastbound ramp of the schuylkill expressway. ukee, back over to you. >> thank you, jess, breaking news this morning, amber alert issued for three month old steven ristick. new york stately confirmed the

"eyewitness news" reporter david spunk join us live with the details for us, david? >> reporter: just got off with pennsylvania state police five minutes ago, they told me to expect 95 to be closed for little while longer, they don't know exactly how long, but live look right now, actually on road overlooking the accident scene, amorosso bread truck delivery van involved, also there is an

s.u.v. in the back, not sure exactly the placement of that, how it was involved, but a lot of debris on the road, looks like authorities are starting to clean up that debris little bit. we don't know exact time of when that will be cleaned up. also don't know why somebody was on 95, we are told one person has died, medical examiner took that person away. we don't know exactly why they were on the road work to go finds that out. for now 95 still closed, state police say it will be closed for the foreseeable future. we work to get updated time to you guys. all right, david, thank you. our other big story, lot behind south philadelphia warehouse becomes a crime scene after the discovery after woman's body. now, police are investigate how she got there, and how she died. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo joins us now, at the scene, with the latest information, jan, good morning. >> reporter: erika, good morning, police have yet to officially identify the woman who was found dead behind this old south philadelphia warehouse yesterday afternoon, but it was certainly a

disturbing discovery, right in this busy shopping area here in south philly. she was found wounded, and naked. >> in plane site of a busy shopping center, sunday afternoon, a shocking discovery in south philadelphia, a woman dead behind this warehouse on south christopher columbus boulevard near dilworth street. police say her body was found just after 1:30, "eyewitness news", spoke to the man who first spotted the woman and called police. he asked not to be identified. >> you know, she don't got no clothes, no nothing. >> police say she was naked, and had a large cut near her rib cage. they aren't identifying her just yet as the investigation continues, but says she's between 35 and 40 years old. that eyewitness, who spotted her, spoke to the police twice yesterday, about what he saw and what he no, sir. he says homeless people often sleep in the area. and he actually thought she was sleeping at first. he tells us, however, he did not know the victim. >> had you seen her before? >> no. i never seen her before.

>> resident in buffalo, new york are expecting flooding, temperatures expected to reach the 60s in their area today. about 7 feet of snow fell on the area last week. new york governor andrew cuomo has warned resident be prepared to evacuate. another fear, melting snow could cause more roofs to collapse.

searching for clues following the discovery after woman's body outside a south philadelphia warehouse. police canvassed this lot along columbus boulevard near dilworth street yesterday afternoon. that is where a homeless man told "eyewitness news", that he led authorities to the body. police say the woman, who is between 35 and 40 years old, was found naked, with a large cut on her rib cage. well, happening today, lawyers for the old revel casino in atlantic sitly try to save the deal to sell it. last week, eyewitnesses told that you brookfield asset management back out of plans to buy revel for $110 million. sources say, the deal fell apart because of electricity costs, today, revel's bankruptcy lawyers will hold a meeting in new york city, and at the moment it is not clear, however, if brookfield will be there. coming up on 6:33, your traffic and weather together. katy? >> good morning shall everybody, we are definitely off to very soggy start here in the delaware vale, to the week ahead, this is week that's going to feature

everything from spring-like warmth, to winter-like chill, to rain, to snow. and pretty much everything inbetween, quiet weather along the way, too, this is holiday week, a loft people are traveling here. i have a feeling not this system but the next one coming up will mess with a lot of holiday travel. now, here's storm scan3, over the last three hours, you can tell the bulk of the moisture starting to pull away. still few residual showers out, there but the brunt of that very strong warmfront has since lifted away. yes, you will have lingering shower out, there helping to slow things down for the morning drive. but, the winds, i think, at this point, is the biggest feature of this warmfront. because, it is definitely noticeable, blustery start to the day, wind peak could gust as high as 40 miles per hour as the warmfront lift out. real good shot to have new record, temperature hereby the time asks all said and done. currently standing at 63 degrees at the airport, haven't budgeted too much through the course of the morning motioner of you into the low 60s this morning, so

with the rain pounding down, not widespread. still few left over showers. we check in quickly with our eyewitness weathernet watcher, temperature sent in from john, lots of clouds for him at this point, but generally speaking, we're starting to see the back edge of the warmfront that was responsible for bringing in the rain. let's head further northwest here, one of the newbe's weather watcher, michael from mount gretna, 59 degrees, clearing out nicely. but as he mentions, certainly been very wet morning, very muggy out stood side. i can a test to that, nice to be able to walk outside without a jacket he said, i'm sure nice break for a loft us. but, as we go to storm scan3 next, dow want to show you what we've got down the pike here guys. certainly, still dealing with some winds, left over, but the heaviest of the rain as you can see the back edge pretty much back here at this point. meanwhile, again, the winds still an issue for us. we go ahead, zoom it out one time though. see the back edge of this, eventually actually going to see new area of low pressure

>> hard to believe but there are 27 days until the start of winter, and among the bears heading to the hibernation is a little cub named sinder. you may remember she was wounded by wild fire few months ago, but since made remarkable recovery. carter evans with more on her story. >> this summer's carlton complex fire, was the largest ever to hit washington state, nearly 300 homes were destroyed, as well as 400 square miles of wildlife habitat. it is unknown how many animals may have died, but somehow this little cub survived. her coast cue ers named the baby black bear sinder, singed when third agree burns, her face and chest were also badly burned. her road to recovery began when she was airlifted to this wildlife care center in lake tahoe, california. >> 38.9. >> she was scared, and malnourished, when veterinarians began the process of rehab. with lots of tlc.
