beautiful evening on the sky deck just to tease us of what is to come. record high temperature today was 71 degrees, and we dit. we beat that record of philadelphia before the snow, moves our way. the high today, 72. that beat old record of 71 setback in 1979. so we have a couple mild days to talk about warm today, sill in the 60's across most of the region and then mild again for tomorrow. we have 50's and 60's to the west. big problem comes wednesday, the nor'easter comes up the northeastern see game. national weather service has issued a winter storm watch for southeastern pennsylvania and also mercer county, in new jersey. we're talking about accumulating snow. this is how it will play out. area of low pressure develops along this front and moves up easterne board as a strong nor'easter. we will see rain, mix, snow and all begins early wednesday morning. mainly snow through lehigh valley and poconos, rain change to go snow along i-95 corridor and adjacent suburbs

see police commanders behind me in the west side of city hall, they have been preparing for weeks for any possible demonstration that is might come. this west side of city hall newly refurbished plaza location of post tensionally one of the demonstration this is evening. take a look at this video we shot a few minutes ago. these are bike officers. they are typically the officers that are deployed around large demonstrations. they were used during the occupy demonstration a few years ago. they are if you will, the first wave of police intended to help keep order if there is a crowd disturbance and there is no indication that there will be. police here at city hall keeping a very low key but intense eye on what developments might come throughout the evening. they have been planning. they have manpower in the area , and if demonstrators arrive here, they will be watching them allowing them of course to express their views, to say what it is they want to say and they want to make sure that nothing gets out

new jersey is putting the brakes on red light cameras in just about three weeks from now traffic program will shut down and those cameras will go dark. >> "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan has more from gloucester township where officials don't want cameras to go. report run a red, field a dread had maybe not as catchy as click it or ticket. >> but she got the point when she received automated red light ticket. >> i received a letter in the mail a few months after that. and, had in idea, and, no idea. >> reporter: new jersey's has been testing a red light camera program for almost five years. hundreds of thousands of tickets have been issued, and millions of dollars collected

in fines by 24 municipalities that participated. one year gloucester township alone issued two # thousand ticket and collected about a million-dollar in net revenue. but according to police crashes at intersections with cameras, dropped by nearly half. >> people are driving, and, they are driving. >> reporter: safety benefits of red light cameras are hot liz contested topic and critics have won the day. red light program is set to expire december 16th and will not be renewed. assemblyman deckland scanlen led the charge begins the cameras. >> this program is nothing more than governmental theft. as of december 16th the program will die, and merry christmas, everyone. >> reporter: many say merry christmas indeed. >> i will be happy. better chance of not getting a ticket. >> reporter: some safety officials worry end of cameras means less accountability on the roads. >> we will to have make up that difference. obviously there were violations occurring at these intersections which effect safety of people and we will need to police that. >> new jersey law, municipalities november

rain, it will bring a mix and snow by 7:00 a.m. wednesday morning. in philadelphia, we will change over to snow during the afternoon and evening. this storm moves quickly away. by wednesday at 11:00 p.m. it is over new england. this is what we expect coating through 2 inches, even coating possible down the shore at the even of the storm two to four along that i-95 corridor. for lehigh valley, reading, berks county and in the poconos, eight plus in those higher elevations, we're talking about a foot of snow possible. in the ski resorts we are looking forward to that. rain will change over to heavy wet snow in philadelphia, on wednesday, we will be clinging to the trees, wires, because temperatures will be borderline freezing, winds will continue to be out of the northeast becoming northwesterly and gusting to 30. we will have a slow morning commute and a slow evening commute. overnight a low mild 52, the high tomorrow, 56, and that is still above average and on the exclusive eyewitness weather, seven day forecast, we will have a stormy wet with a high
