4:34 am
that's when two people were taken into custody. take a listen. >> i would anticipate one individual being charged because that individual did enter onto 95, and kneel down, into the running lane of 95. and created an extremely hazardous situation where a female bike officer had to herself enter the running lanes of 95 and pull that person to safety. >> again, two people were taken into custody, philadelphia police expect charges to be filed sometime later on this morning, again, they do expect more protests here in the city later on today. they are prepared for that. coming up in the next half hour, we'll hear more from the protesters last night, what they want done and protest until that happens. reporting live for now outside of city hall, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> thank you, stay with "eyewitness news" for continuing coverage of the grand jury decision. we have much more on our website cbsphilly.com. >> right now, though, just past 4:33, want to check in with katie because tomorrow is not looking good.

4:36 am
start to crash. they continue to fall as the morning progresses here, but sort of level off as the day goes on, specking those temperatures to hid the mid and up ear's, both philly and down the shore, up fourth's at best in the poconos, see sunshine, so again the calm before the storm. vet tore crashes over to you. >> thank you, good morning, everyone, i would say also, on the roads, the calm before the storm, really nothing happening right now, if you are traveling on 95, delaware county, really anywhere, it looks great. if you are traveling 95, even through the construction zones, both cottman avenue and girard, not seeing rush hour delays just yet. but still waiting, about 6:00, 6:15, we start to see things slow down. 202 around the area of 29, again, pretty nice ride out there, our speed censors are where they should be at this time. high up into the 50's, and the schuylkill, 95, 476, no major problems on the pa turnpike, northeast extention, again, a lot of good news this morning. if you are traveling the philadelphia international airport, no delays, mass transit, you are in the clear, we do, however, have accident at montgomery accident, so try
4:37 am
to avoid that area if you can. also, traveling in delaware, little construction, some overnight construction, ongoing until 5:00 a.m. just little longer, southbound 95 around martin luther king boulevard. again, nothing major. and speaking of majors, we take a look at new jersey majors, 42, 55, 295, all in the clear and in the green. erika? >> thank, vet tore y search continues for missing mother of three. jessica pageant disappeared friday while on luge. break her work at duck duck goose day care. she toll her co-workers she would do errands but never came back. her suv found in the parking lot of a dollar store. her cell phone still inside the suv. >> i just want my sister found. that's all we ask at this time. >> if you have any information on pageant's whereabouts, please call pennsylvania state police. well, philadelphia is one of the top three finalists who host the 2016 democratic

4:43 am
primarily snow event from couple of counties away from philadelphia, very sharp gradient what you find with snowfall totals, whether mix of rain or snow. >> a loft travel plans affected. >> that has me worried, i have to be honest, i try not to hype this up when we don't need tonight but this will be one of those storm, even though i wouldn't necessarily classify it as one of the big he storms we've ever seen, the time something so unfortunate. because it is on one of the busiest travel days, as we know, of the entire year, and all day event, not like you're going to catch much after break here. let me walk you through everything, start it off with now. actually we go back in time here. start off with hey weather news, what do you think? yes, why not? >> sure. >> look where we ended up yesterday. couple of brand new records for the books here in philadelphia we hit daily record, in reading, trenton, allentown, we all hit the low 70s, i mean, felt so-so nice and mild. i had my sun roof open yesterday. it was great. can't go there now. meanwhile, we start to see the temperatures dropping off, already seeing a little bit of
4:44 am
moisture, being funneled in from the south and west here. this is actually the same boundary that crossed through last night, from the larger storm that brought the heavy rain, if you recall, you know, about this same time yesterday. it was pulling away. this front is sort of setting up shop, the area of low pressure that's going to bring that coastal system in has yet to actually form. but when it does it, will basically ride up this boundary, and because it is setting up just to our southeast, that is why we're going to see just enough cold air to bring that rain-snow line right over our area. soap, this is basically how it will look on the radar by tomorrow. core of the storm is just out to sea, which is going to produce a whallop system for say the cape cod area. we are going to be right on the fine gradient. so, winter storm watches go knee effect early tomorrow morning basically all of southeastern pennsylvania into northern new jersey, including mercer county. here is what we're expecting, guys, so basically start off as rain, turns over to snow then, for the philadelphia
4:45 am
region. and points just to the northeast and southwest. all you got to do, though, drive maybe, what, 50 miles up toward the allentown area, and you could be looking at double that, if not more. you are going up to i80, it could be eight or more inches. so, this is going to be one of those, you know, issues where it is coming down hard and fast and it will slick end up the roadways, bring in the icy conditions, the further southeast you go, more modest coating to inch or two. probably get gipped from snow down the shore, that's also where you find the strongest wind. whole mixed bag of issues. high no better than 40. by thursday, hey at least it is all ought off here. that's what we've got going for us, something to look ahead to, again, tomorrow rough day. just get into your holiday destination, please have back up plan in place if you can. it will be a rough day tomorrow. ukee, back over to you. >> katie, thank up n sports, flyers turn in a great defensive effort, but the offense never gets moving against the islanders. the islanders out shot the fly guys, but goalie steve mason
4:46 am
