>> we're following breaking news right now, some stunning video in ferguson, missouri, fires erupt, violent protesters filled the streets. >> police officer cleared for killing an un armed teenager. here in philadelphia, those protests are much more peaceful, hundreds every people filled the streets overnight, joining the chorus of critics. >> fire light up the night sky across ferguson, missouri after angry crowds take to the streets in protest. >> grand jury has decide the

not to indict ferguson police officer in the death of michael brown. at least dozen building burned, and several others were looted overnight. in that area where the 18 year old was fitly shot. police used tear gas to push back crowds, throwing rocks, other objects. sound lewis county police chief called the violence disappointing. >> a lot of gunfire, i'm disappointed this evening, i really don't have any hesitation, in telling you, that i didn't see a lot of people protest out there tonight. and i'm disappointed about that. i'm not saying there weren't folks out there that were out there for the right reason, not saying it wasn't the case, but i am saying, unfortunately, this has spun out of control. >> we're told at least 29 people were arrested in ferguson, over night. grand jury decision, "eyewitness news" report, jan carabeo joins us more with. that will good morning. >> erika, good morning. philadelphia police expect more protests, sim floor what

happened overnight, here, in and around city hall, later on today. they say they're prepared for that. meanwhile, last night, overnight, they say, these protests were overall respectful. they say, yes there is group was loud, large, very intense, but overall it went smoothly, minus just couple of hiccups. take a look at this video. see some of the protest that is unfolded overnight. ly say out of about 300 protesters here, only two people had to be taken into custody. protesters, as you can see, spilled into center city street overnight after learning about that grand jury decision. wake several miles, many and down market street, broad street, south street, eventually making their way all the way down to columbus boulevard. now, somewhere along that route, police tell us, cup couple of people tried to hip onto busy i95, that's when bike police were forced to intervene. that's when those two people were taken into custody. take a listen. >> i would anticipate one individual being charged. that individual did enter onto

the roads with the storm system on the move. there is going to be a very very tiny window of opportunity i think if you are trying to beat the storm, but, you know, the right conditions have to be in place. let me explain. we take it out first and for most to look on "skycam 3", off in the dips tans, liberty place there. generally clear skies, couple of clouds, we throw our current conditions coming in from the airport over top of. >> this humidity still up there. not looking at any rain right now. 57 degrees, so nice and mild, and we're seeing that winds slacken up little bit. you will notice the breeze somewhat here today. but not necessarily as pronounced as yesterday. storm scan3 next. we make the tri-state sweep. finding moisture southeast, generally, just off shore. that's actually a front that's going to be stalling out, and allowing the coastal storm to ride up the coast by tomorrow. so that will be sort of the impetus to get it, you know, into the location that we're expecting. to take the track that we're expecting. as a result, winter storm watches go into effect early tomorrow morning for all of the counties shaded in the blue. notice this will be a system

that essentially splits our region in two, while everybody sees an impact, it may be a different impact. but the highest impact from this storm comes by mid-day. that's when the heaviest of the moisture is moving in, we start to seat rain-snow line moving further south, so into philadelphia, at that point, you start to see any rain, changing over to snow. and we will have far more on this system, as we move forward in the show here. but for now, today is quiet, just little breezy, and still smidge milder than average. of course we do have snow on the way, so make sure that your cbs philly weather app is on your smart phone. check the radar around the clock, get the most updated forecast, and you can download it right now, on eye tunes and google play. it is a great app. now would be a great time to get it. it is free, too, what's better than that? vet tore crashes over to you. >> we love free. good morning, everyone, traveling out and about right now, still not be a problem. we are waiting on the rush. so with that said, you have a lot of good news. let's get outside and take a look. first up the schuylkill expressway traveling 76, this

shot here is westbound, approaching city avenue, making your way out toward belmont. again, not seeing that big huge delay that we're used to seeing in the morning, just yet. 5:36. usually don't see the rumbling after rush hour form, until about 6:00, 6:15, so, still pretty early. take a look at 476, not too far away from the areas of the mid-county toll plaza, around the 95 area, the schuylkill area, 476 is great. speed censors still high up into the 50's, nine, a schuylkill, blue route, everywhere else. >> if you are traveling, however, elsewhere, this is nine street at tillman street. we are dealing with a vehicle fire, so do you want to be minds full of this traveling in the area of chester county. can we do have an accident at game farm road at hokle road. things at the airport are just fine, erika. >> thank you, right now 5:36. in business news this morning

>> we are following breaking news right now, unrest continues in ferguson, missouri and across the country after grand jury does not indict a police officer over the shooting death of michael brown this summer. there have been fire sets, vandalism, and several area he cents. >> also, more developments after the verdicts. protests broke out in several cities including philadelphia. hundreds of people marched through center city after that verdict was announced. philadelphia police say demonstrations though were peaceful. >> penndot crews are getting their snow removal trucks in gear. we are expecting snow tomorrow. one of the busiest travel days of the year. we can get an update on that, right now, because it is time for traffic and weather

things are looking pretty good up and down for the most part the eastern seaboard. but boy is this going to be different story come this same time tomorrow. flog well defined just yet, but storm will eventually develop. this up that front, and because we are right on the northwest side of it, that's why we're expecting whole mixed bag of some rain, some sleet, and definitely some snow. notice, if you go a county or two away from philadelphia, upper becomes, upper montgomery, you can be looking to four-8 inches or more going up toward the i80 corridor. now basically from the jersey turnpike on southeast, coating to modest inch or two at most, mainly rain event for those areas, but you will start to see that rain turn over to snow, as the sun goes down, colder air wraps in tomorrow evening, in those locations. now, that said, here's how it

>> we're getting better idea when they decided not to indict. >> prosecutors released more than 1,000 pages of documents from the case including wilson's testimony. >> what do we learn from the documents, al one town of them? >> as the grand jury had i to sift through them, so are we, primarily of course looking at the testimony from officer wilson. certainly that was very heavily wade upon, by these grand jurors, i would say, the second most probative piece of evidence they had to consider several autopsies done, and things about bullet projectory, the way the bullets enters the boyde, all very telling, and trying to figure out what happened on

this fateful incident. >> do you believe the brown family or can they raise civil case? >> absolutely they'll absolutely will move forwards, at the very least, officer wilson, although might not be criminal responsible, they'll suggest he is liable for the wrongful killing of their 18 year old son. that's lesser burdens end of proof than even this probable cause so i anticipate them moving forward in this direction. >> i mentioned officer wilson's testimony was part of those documents, released, we also saw pictures of the injuries, what do you think that had on the grand jury decision? >> interesting. seeing a lot of people already responding on social media, even within the legal community, being kind of surprise that there weren't more severe injuries, from officer wilson. but i want to be clear, that's

not one of the requirement, that is not one of the requirements taken into consideration when considering the justification of deadly force. >> if you believe he was in fear, and acted according to that, so that's really more so what the testimony yields dollars, some people say in contradiction to what the pictures show. again pointing out it the nos required that he have sub sean shale injury, only that he believed he was in reasonable fear for his life. >> based on the evidence you've seen, red about, heard about, can you make a decision, did they make the right decision, or can you put thrust? >> you know, it is something that i would never want to be in a situation myself. >> i commend these grand jurors for going through all of this evidence, as you said, a thousand pages plus, 60 plus witnesses, they convene on 25 separate occasions
