4:34 am
time of year, just generally colder. that's obvious, right? so we are going to potentially see pink, purple show up toward the could be on, monroe area, as it moves in tonight specifically. when the temperatures have a chance to drop off. that said, winter weather advisories going in effect strictly for carbon, monroe, up toward the poconos, so headed up to the i80 interchange, where you will end up finding the potential at least for slick travel. currently temperatures mid or upper 30's, little colder as go in toward some of the spots where the skies are still a little clear. so at the freezing mark in trenton, 26 currently in allentown, so definitely a big discrepancy, even for northeast fill toy quakertown, but with that said, we are generally looking at cloud throughout the day, and eventually toward i would say sunset, first raindrops will be falling. they move in from west to east, as we go down toward the shore, you might see sprinkle there, too, and up in the poconos as we mention better shot to see some frozen
4:35 am

4:44 am
well. this is technically our warmfront. we actually have the main system, still pent up back across the central planes, but the whole thing just moves on in here, and by later tonight, in fact, that rain will become steadier across the board, and also going to end up with, again, just periods of rain in this forecast, any time tomorrow. so, warmfront today, maybe even even allowing for frozen precipitation up toward carbon, monroe county, into tonight, once the sun goes down, everybody else just rain. don't worry about any icing anywhere else, the period of rain continues as we await the crossing of the cold front. by the time it get out of here, already into early sunday morning, we will be left with a shower early on, i think, but skies do clear pretty quickly, the sort of trade off that we had to deal with though despite more sun for the eagles end up with chilly breeze out there through the better part of the day. rain moves in later this afternoon, from west to east, essentially, high hitting 46. we drop it down to 43 tonight. not too much moving on the thermometer again because of the warmfront moving through. so we sort of level off when it comes to the temperature.
4:45 am
but we spike back up to 55 tomorrow. even though it is the warmest day of the forecast, also the most dreary day of our forecast. we look ahead to next week, i want you to look at tuesday quickly here, we are watching for the potential of a coastal system. right now, it is just a chance, but it is something that we're keeping an eye on, right now even if we were to go with precipitation on that day just rain and snow showers. guys, back over to you. >> katie, thank you. happening today, the us postal service releases new stamps honoring legend wilt chamberlain. now the design actually slings chamberlain ace 7-foot 1 inch frame into tiny 2-inch tall stamp 1 inch longer than your average stamp. first time nba player has received this honor, commemorative forever stamps come in two versions, one portraying the basketball great as a sixer, the other as a laker. they needed bigger stamp, ukee. and we'll have more on that throughout the morning with some special guests. well, it is eagles and seahawks sunday at into lincoln financial field. connor barwin is the nfc

4:51 am
mazda's stopped short of issuing nationwide recall, and takata itself also refused to issue a recall in all 50 states. saying that it would take resources away from areas where they are really needed. so for most areas like new york and philadelphia, cars with those airbags are still not being recalled. ukee, nicole? >> all right, jill. we also hear starbucks stock is up now after the company told investors, what is brewing for the next few years. what do you know? >> yes, the coffee maker has got some big plans, for one it, will start serving wine and beer at thousand it is of locations, it is also going high-tech. so the mobile app will let customers place their coffee orders on line, and pay in advance, which pretty much means people can skip the lines when they pick up their latte. who doesn't want to do that? >> what? skip the line? >> fast pass to disney world. >> exactly, just in. thanks, jill.

4:55 am
when the bridge is up, in the meantime, let's gather check on some weather for the weekend. katy? >> and vet tore crashes not looking ideal, unfortunately, but we do at least have half the weekends looking up for you if you have outdoor plans, if you are going to cut down the christmas tree, storm scan3 is quiet. if you squeeze in outdoor plans say over the next 12 hours or so, you will be good to go. we are of course tracking a system, however, and the signs of life from that are already visible, just, you know, state or two away, but probably don't start to see the first signs of life on the radar here locally until maybe at the absolute earliest, later this afternoon, and specially through central pennsylvania at that point. so most every lust evening out dry day, it is tonight that things change. still, at the moment, just some clouds here, palmyra cove nature part, center city skyline shining brightly, and as we lack ahead in the next seven day forecast, mildest spot of the forecast comes tomorrow, also the most rain yes, sir day we have coming up.
