poconos where temperatures are below freezing. that areas under a winter weather advisory as we get through tonight, until the 1:00 a.m. on saturday. sleet and freezing rain to start off in the poconos region. in that area or heading that way sleet and freezing rain and watch for icing spots on the roads. future weather keeps it light tonight, but tomorrow afternoon we will really start to see heavy rain from the system moving in. by about the noon time hour it over spreads the area coming up we will have more on the timing of the storm and hutch rain will fall and when it will get out of here and also a potential storm through middle of next week. we will have more in a bit. jessica and chris, back to you. there is breaking news right now a neighbor is under arrest in connection with this fire that destroyed the home of the police officer on commons drive-in lower pottsgrove. investigators alleged that donna crub set that fire while ernie morris and his family were on rakes in florida. investigators alleged that he had a long running dispute

with morris after he assisted in the arrest of her on back in june. in november the detectives vehicles was vandalized and he later a install a surveillance camera outside his home. detectives say video from that camera shows krup with fire. she's being held on one million-dollar bail. today local high school students join many protesters around the nation expressing their feelings about grand jury decisionness ferguson and new york city. "eyewitness news" reporter walt hunter is live at central high school in olney with more on how these students made their voices heard, walt. >> reporter: well, jessica, students here at central were four other philadelphia schools, staged protest is today in response to lessons they have learn not from textbooks, but from the headlines, recently coming out of ferguson missouri and new york city. not all central high school students were rushing for the exits when the final bell sounded this friday afternoon.

hospital after he was shot today. that gunfire erupted in pleasantville, atlantic county. residential area. something like this happening the the neighbors are pretty concerned. >> reporter: rapper was just released from prison back in august after serving two years for federal tax evasion. philadelphia native has also served time for federal weapons charges his criminal record are also includes conspiracy, and multiple drug charges. this isn't the the first time the 40 year-old landed himself in the hospital from gunshot wounds. in 2006 he was shot multiple times during a philadelphia robbery. police did take one man in custody after a car chase led them to believe that the driver may be connect. now that driver's name has not been released at this time because police are still trying to determine whether or not he was involve in that shooting. we are live from atlantic city, charlotte huffman for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". well, driver loses control in cheltenham township and that leads to a deadly crash. police say a 26 year-old hit several park cars along hill dale road earlier today and

was ejected from his car. died at the scene. we now know that he was from philadelphia, and the cause of that crash is still under investigation. fire fighter worked for every angle trying to bring this house fire in delaware county under control. units arrived in the 700 block of agoness road in folsom just before 10:00 this morning. there was significant damage done to the home as you can see from chopper three. still no reports of any injuries, there is no word yet on what sparked that fire. new developments now in the search for missing west chester university student shane montgomery. his family is can racing manayunk hoping happy hour crowd might be able to provide leads on his disappearance. a michigan man stole an ambulance, police arrested brian, sunday night, the pursuit was captured on police dashboard video and man saw the keys in the ignition outside an hospital and says this was his best chance to get to the strip club. >> fifty-one year-old is now facing charges. >> airplane crashed, in midair forcing united airlines flight to washington d.c. to head back to vermont. pilot initially thought it was a bird strike but investigators believe a mechanical malfunction caused it to break yesterday. despite that the pilot was able to land safely.
