championship game. first congratulations to both teams for making it this far it's not easy in the sec but we're here right now to celebrate the 2014 sec championship champion that is alabama. the crimson tide biff give it up for your team. [ crowd noise ] first standing next to me is our most valuable player, that goes to your quarterback, blake sims. blake just few years ago in 2012 you had only thrown 12 total passes. now you're accepting most valuable player trophy after winning the sec championship. is this everything you thought it would be? >> i'm happy for the team. behind me they worked so hard in the spring and summer offensive line worked so hard, ryan kelly stood with me and amari cooper, deandrew white did great job let me know what they see.

opportunities for missouri in this ball game. you look at some fumbled snaps look at mishandling of punts. mizzou was not able to tap tall lies on these opportunities. alabama kept the ball, kept the momentum, drives continue. you see blake sims on rushing play. ball hits the turf. offensive lineman falls on it. he loses again. alabama fortunate they get it right back. a missed punt by the punter. no one able to get there before he can get the kickoff. once again alabama escapes from disaster. >> spencer: derrick henry career high, derrick henry. and alabama's defense was suffocating. >> adam: again penetration not only going to affect the passing game but also affects rushing game. forces alabama. they played on the other side of the line of scrimmage.

difference nobody in the field of four has chance to redeem themselves like oregon did and they did it in a resounding way. >> brian: alabama because they're alabama they just won biggest, baddest conference. now the pac 12 is creeping up one them. top to bottom they're good but not there yet. alabama and sec. >> adam: thought is that alabama would then go to new orleans and oregon would go to the rose bowl. whether they are one or two they would get to go where it's closer to home. the question really right now is who is going to be number four. tcu dominant today. who is going to be number four by the time this night is over. three teams going for one spot. >> spencer: i believe that florida state more vulnerable than anybody is willing to acknowledge. some people have been talking about upsets if you look at the trajectory of them. their quarterback play they have been going downhill. again because georgia tech will possess the ball with that triple option attack taking

offensive opportunities away from jameis winston they're going to be in very precarious position. >> brian: i would usually be in line with you. like last week with florida rolled in to tallahassee they didn't get it done. we've seen number of times this season where it look like it was time for florida state to fall. they just keep winning ball games. something about this team. they are resilient team. i don't see -- going to be tough contest. >> spencer: if the bcs computers were still involved florida state got big bounce in another game. go up to new york check in on some of the other action around college football. >> brent: tcu had opportunity to leave one last impression. nation's number three team trying to just get enough separation to make sure they get in the top four when the rankings come out. they had a trick early on.
