cheltenham township officer was working an accident scene at washington lane and township line road around 6:30, when he was hit by a passing car that lost control in the slick road. officer phil, suffered minor injuries, and the the driver of the striking car did remain at the scene. developing right the now police are investigating two sexual assault in west philadelphia. these attacks happened on south forty-seventh streets, also at forty-first and sansom. you are not only ones dealing with wild weather, reporter ann, from our sister station in san francisco, tells us that heavy rain, has caused extensive flooding, in the north bay, and what are conditions like there right now, ann. >> reporter: it is still raining here, jessica and natasha. i'm soaking wet. it has been going for almost 24 hours now all around the san francisco bay area and it has been raining so hard, for so long, we just need a break. the san francisco bay area was slammed with a powerful storm

we are looking at very heavy rain that will continue into the overnight and men to the day time tomorrow. you cane that right over san francisco, those yellows and oranges in the center of the storm to the north you can see that comma shaped cloud and that jet stream dipping. is there a big trough building out to the west and that is keeping this weather over the western part of the country. you can see through port land, oregon and down right through san francisco. there is the the center of circulation a front and another area have of low pressure keeping the moisture through the region. this huge trough in the jet stream is keeping this storminess there, while we have a ridge in the east. that means fair weather for us right through the the weekend and warming and this system will continue to weaken, move toward the mountains, bring some mountain snow to denver by the weekend but we will be seeing fair weather on the east. usually happens that way when it is stormy in the west, we have a break in the east coast. storm scan three we have a few snow showers to talk about, not a lot but they are in the northern, western suburbs and they will be moving through. right now not impacting visibility that is the good

government. some so-called riders attached to the $1.1 trillion spending bill is threatens its passage, a provision to allow wealthy donors to give significantly more money to political parties, and another that would allow banks to once again conduct risky trades. president obama says he will sign the spending bill if it reaches his desk. a guilty verdict today in the murder of philadelphia police officer, moses walker, jr. raphael jones was found guilty of murder and attempted robbery by a judge. this was not a jury trial. officer moses walker junior was approached by two men after leaving his shift at the 22nd police district in north philadelphia in august 2012. prosecutors say this happened so fast. he didn't even have time to pull his gun. >> a burglar is caught on camera breaking into a grocery store in the city's germantown section. police say the robber used look-outs as he forced open the security gate, climbed through the window of the woodlawn deli. this happened around 5:00 a.m.

on december 4th, in the 5600 block of chew avenue. the thief stole handgun and $1,200 in cash. >> and, surveillance video captured this suspect breaking into a south philadelphia home. this happened on november 27th in the 2500 block of south percy street. while the suspect was inside the homeowner returned, and that suspect ran out of the become of the house. if you recognize either suspect in these robberies, contact police. >> well, now to dramatic rescue, all of it captured on tape, good samaritans rescue 92 year old man from singing car in florida. a one man smashed the rear window, unlocked the door, while another man pulled the victim out of the car, he didn't have a pulse. the good samaar at this performed cpr on the victim, brought him back to life. police think the victim had a medical emergency prior to the car going into the water. >> and several people meantime are hospitalized after an out of control car jumps the curve outside store in new york sit. >> this accident happened in herald square mere the i's
