"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo with the very latest on the investigation, she joins us know from lower salford montgomery county, jan, good morning. >> reporter: ukee, erika, good morning, such a tragedy here, all of the victims part of the same family and all have a tie to the killer. their search is on this morning for bradley stone, they've been searching ever since yesterday morning, it has been over 24 hours now since these killings started and in an over abundance of caution, the upper perkioman school district has already

decided to close for the day. he's the manna cured of killing six people, and seriously injuring a seventh. all-out manhunt is on for 35 year old bradley stone of pennsburg. this is what authorities say he looks like now, the latest photo after clone-cut stone released late as night. >> we actually recovered his vehicle, and his personal cell phone, so we do not have information about how he might be traveling. >> the hunt for stone sent police into four communities in montgomery county on monday, and forced evacuation of residents in the lock-down every schools. police say his killing spree started about 3:30 here in souderton. authorities say stone killed his former sister-in-law, her husband, their 14 year old daughter and seriously injured the couple's 17 year old son. he had to be air lifted to the hospital. then, the d.a. says, stone went to this home in lansdale, and fatally shot his former mother-in-law, and grandmother in law. finally, authority say, he showed up here in lower salford, at the apartment of his ex-wife, 33 year old nicole stone, killed her, and

then took the couple's two daughters, a neighbor recalls the frightening scene to our steve patterson. >> i heard four gunshots, and i heard the kids screaming: mommy, no, we want my mom. i opened my window, i asked him was everything okay. he looked at me and just said she's hurt, she's hurt pretty bad. we got to go, we got to go. >> neighbors tell "eyewitness news" the couple was going through bitter custody battle. their daughters were eventually found safe. >> mr. stone delivered his two daughters to a neighbor in pennsburg. >> stone is former marine who served in iraq in 2008 and was honorably discharged from the reserves in 2011: now, police say stone should be considered armed and dangerous. he's five-ten, 195 pounds, he could be using a cane, and he may bewaring fatigues and either a sand or a green color. anyone who sees him should call 911. reporting live, in lower salford, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> jan, we'll get back to you shortly, thank you. coming up on 5:03, here is

your traffic and weather together. katy? >> good morning, hey shall everybody, off to nice dry start. it is still chilly out here, across the delaware valley this morning. we did have that nice clear sky that finally broke for sunshine yesterday. the clouds are just beginning to thicken back up, however, in advance of yet another frontal boundary. >> this one is a warmfront, though, as we look strictly at the radar here, and the tri-state sweep on storm scan3, nothing picking up just yet here, locally, but there are obviously signs of life on the radar just off to the west. that's a sign of course of the warmfront making its approach. clouds builds ahead of it, we have as a result of the light winds, even seeing just little bit of light fog develop here with lower lying clouds, so you may run into isolated pockets of it, but otherwise, really, it is all about the rain moving in today. thankfully, because it is a warmfront, it is too warm for anything but plane old rainout of this. generally, it starts to move in toward i would say the lunch hour around philadelphia, maybe tad sooner, depending on your location if you are a little further west. here's where we stand temperature wise, pair of three's, airport, up in mount

pocono, actually colder where you have got a clearer sky out toward the shore points oddly enough, that's thousand goes, and we can expect to see the temperatures rebounds nicely here today with the passage of the warmfront. but again you may want to think about having some rain gear at the ready, looks as though mainly afternoon and evening concern with the rain showers, some could produce some steady rain. jess? >> thanks, katiement and happy tuesday, everyone, at 5:04, we go outside, check out how things are doing on the schuylkill expressway, where we have some overnight construction. that's kind of in the camera right there, they keep moving back and forth, taking out the right hand shoulder and part of the right hand lane, see cones set up in the middle of the highway there, so the westbound lanes on the schuylkill near 30th street, and you can see some crews, gentleman there walking up the side of the street there. so we just want to urge to you use some caution when driving through, as women. the ben franklin bridge, from the philly side, so all lanes open, fortunately, headed westbound into the city, currently having no problems to do that. out in montgomery county, downed tree, closing morris road at lewis lane, take skippack pike to get on by.

erika, ukee, back over to you. >> thanks, jessica. following breaking news in pakistan where taliban gunman stormed military run school this morning. officials say they opened fire killing at least 84 student and injuring dozens more. the pakistani military responded to that scene and exchange dollars gunfire with the taliban. one soldier was killed. the military school in the northwestern city city enrolled student in first through tenth grades. stay with us as this story develops, we'll bring you new information as soon as we get it. australia's largest city still in disbelief this morning after a hostage stands off in downtown cafe left three dead including the gunman. as cbs news correspondent susan macinnis reports, the gunman was well known to australian authorities, and now the world. >> as a memorial to the victims of monday's hostage crisis grows, the people of sydney are outraged. >> just terrible, horrifying. it is hard to comprehend. >> it is a travesty, true and

just. >> australian prime minister tony abbott and his wife laid flowers near the lint chocolate cafe in downtown sydney where the 16 hour siege began monday and ended early tuesday, when police stormed the store killing moonas, but not before two hostages died. fifteen were freed, including several who escaped. four were injured, including a policeman. the 50 year old moonas was well known to authorities, as having a violent criminal history, mental instability, and extremist views. free on bail monday, he had been charged as accessary to his ex-wife's murder. but moonas wasn't on a terror watch list. >> we're all outraged at this guy was on the street. >> reporter: authorities stress the gunman acted alone and not part of larger terrorist plot. susan macinnis, cbs-3 "eyewitness news".

>> back home, new information this morning on triple shooting in glenolden delaware county. the publish reports say an ex-police officer is the suspect in a shooting that left a woman dead and a teenage girl injured. chopper three hd was over the scene on the 600 block of glenfield avenue shortly after 9:00 last night. the former officer was reportedly shot by someone else in the house. well, happening today, a preliminary hearing is scheduled for three young adults charged with beating a same sex couple in center city. police accuse philip williams, kevin harrigan, and catherine not with taking part in the at all the that left one man with his jaw wired shut. they each facing aggravated assault, conspiracy, and other charges. they were not charged with a hate crime because pennsylvania's current law does not include protections for sexual orientation. also, happening today, if you drive in new jersey today is the last day of flash from a red light camera will lead to a ticket. the state's pilot program is ending tonight at midnight. twenty-four municipalities participated in the five-year

that's generally when some of the first rain showers begin to fire up through the western suburbs, but it looks like it is primarily again afternoon, evening, some of the more steady rain is moving through our area. some does look like it could douse you at times. keep the umbrella at the readiment we look ahead to tonight. still expecting to still find some of these rain showers around here. but then overnight it all begins to gradually dry out. now, we mention the possibility of snow, before we went to break last night, here's why. there is new storm system that will eventually, looking ought way to the weaken here, days away, eventually form, and it looks like it is primarily a mid-atlantic storm, but the models are already starting to jump on this, and come to little bit after concensus that we're right on the northern edge of it, so we would ends up with little mix of some rain, some light snow. but very light precipitation, for now. now, again, this is still days off. we'll have to see how things evolve there, but that's the general idea for now, not until sunday. meantime, low 50's expected today, tomorrow, expecting the rain today, quiet day tomorrow, and then the colder air catches up by thursday and friday. and we're back into the low
