after hiding from officers all night, following their botched burglaries. our jan carabao is on the scene with a live report coming up, katie? we are expect to go see a cold front pass through here today and what it does bring with it is noticeable breeze but it is still mild for within more day. we're still talking temperatures. we will have details coming up, vittoria. so far, so good on the roads, traveling on i the 95 no sign of the rush hour just yet but when sun comes up, things will change. we will have a full report coming up. back to that breaking news in northeast philadelphia, two suspect burglars now in custody after police spent hours looking for them inside a target store. >> jan carabao is on the scene, jan? >> reporter: erika and ukee, solid police work at somerton target, police now have two suspects, two men, two would be burglars in custody. if you take a look they have been led away by police this

morning. police say through a steel, rear door of the store and in the middle of burglarizing it when police arrive. let me take you through the course of the events. this started after 1:00 here at target on roosevelt boulevard in somerton a silent alarm, sounded, alerting the alarm company about what was going on so they notified police. when police arrived they have found a three by 3-foot hole saw through a steel door we police spotted two suspects running through the store. they made their way on to the roof and then back down into the store. and then for hours police were searching this huge target, with k-9 units and just about after four hours, after police arrived, the two would be burglars were caught. now this would have been the seventh target in the philadelphia area burglarized since november, state police actually had a task force looking into it. the suspect, suspects usually go for the electronics inside. police are looking into whether this could be an inside job, while this was

happening this morning employees were monitoring closed issuing it cameras and at one point police say suspects cut one of the cameras wires, so it could be an inside job they say, that is still under investigation but again those suspects are now caught, and taken away, police tell us that they were caught on the roof. back out here live at the the summer ton quiet. police have left the the scene. we are waiting for new details from chief inspector scott smalls just as soon as we get those, we will bring them to you. we are live, jane carabao for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thank you. back to our other big story, the manhunt for bradley stone, suspect behind a killing spree in montgomery county has ended. the former marine's body was found near his home in pennsburg yesterday. authorities say that it appears that he died from self-inflicted cut wounds. six people were killed, all related to his ex-wife, nicole. one victim anthony flick is still hospitalized in critical condition. we're also learning more about his past, this morning,

stone was a decorated veteran who served eight years in the military before being discharged in 2011. however, taking a look at his criminal railroaded we found several dui's, first in 2001, and in 2003 he pleaded guilty to another dui, his third came last year when he crashed his car. court documents also show a lengthy custody battle with his ex-wife nicole. >> and that was a very contentious, protracted set of disputes, and we learned that just last week he had made an effort in court to try to secure custody, emergency custody of the children and that was denied. >> records also show stone was continuing treatment at the va medical center for ptsd and related conditions. in january, he was deemed unemployment by a physician. right now it is 5:33. lets check with katie and hang on to your hat today, um. >> i would say so through the second half of the day we will notice this breeze kicking in

and useful. ukee and erika. >> well, if anyone can do it, rihanna. >> chose the right girl. >> thanks, jill. philadelphia police were told they are investigating a home invasion in somerton. investigators say a man broke in the home on hurtville road, pistol whipped his victim and stole his dog and x box. we're told that victim is okay. police have a vague description have the of the suspect. mean while police in radnor township say eight people wanted for crimes unneglectly walked light into police custody n a clever move here office are sent out letters tricking suspects into thinking they have had unclaimed money. authorities then arrested them when they arrived to collect at a set up location. police say they were than the wassed for a variety of crimes, including outstanding fines, dui, theft, and burglary. now, something to realize it was a trick, even after the handcuffs went on. they were taken in custody and we were walking out and asked

good morning. we're updating breaking news. police take two burglary suspects into custody after searching for them in a target store for hours. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jane carabao joins us at that scene in somerton where police found suspects. they were hiding in an unusual place, right? >> reporter: erika and ukee, good morning. unusual place indeed. police caught them on the roof hiding in a ventilation shaft. more information on that in just a minute but this was a case of solid police work at this somerton target this morning. police have have captured two would be burglars whom they say sawed through a steel door at this store and were in the middle of burglarizing it when police arrived. police are still collecting evidence and they will be for quite sometime. if you look at video you can see two men taken away by police a short time ago. this started juster
