happen on the subway, all is well that ends well, right. this is christmas miracle, many people are calling it this morning there is mother and her baby boy, are here in hahnemann hospital, we're told, in good condition, resting this morning, and all of this is thanks in part to a couple of quick acting septa police officers. if you take a look at this video, you can see, this whole thing was caught on camera. you can see right there, this is the moment when the baby was wrapped up, just after it entered the world, this all happened on a septa train that just arrived at the 15th and market station on christmas eve, police got word over the radio, that someone was in need of help, as the cars were pulling in. and as the officers approached that car, concerned passengers actually toll them that the woman was in labor, so they sprung into action. soon after, a healthy baby boy was in their arm, safe and sound. >> we delivered a baby for her, like her christmas present, but it is also like a

blessing and present for myself, first time i experienced something like this. >> reporter: both of those office remembers actually fathers, but of course, never experienced something like this on the job. they say they're both honored to be a part of the experience, but his is just one part of this job that you never know what can happen on. reporting live, in center city this morning, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> what a wonderful thing to experience, though, for the family and those officers, thank you. coming up on 6:33, let's get our traffic and weather together. finally nice sunny day, katy? >> absolutely. >> this will be one of those days that we haven't really seen in a while. i feel like, you nowak i can't even tell you the last time i actually saw storm scan look as it does. and what i mean by that is it is clear as a bell. not one cloud in the sky. we just haven't seen that in a really long time. system after system has rolled through, or any storm that has been in place, has been belabored to move out. it has taken its sweet olds time. as a result now finally high pressure taking control here.
6:33 am
you have got not only quiet radar, but a very empty satellite picture. now, obviously little thin vale of some cloud cover here off to the west, and to the north, but, none that far will mess with us here today. and i can already tell you, we are just shy of an hour away from sunrise, and i can already see some of the light of day. it is very faint, but some of the light of day popping over the horizon on one of the shore cameras. it will only be matter of time before we start to see the beautiful colors and gorgeous sunrise, i can guarantee that here this morning. so 15 degrees in the negative here. you know, that's sort of the trade off when you have nice clear sky as we do. temperatures will drop off that more readily. remember, the atmosphere when you have got cloud cover in place acts essentially as a blank tote trap the heat in. you don't have that when the skies are clear, so the temperatures dropped readily, in tandem with the fact a cold front crossing through, helped these temperatures to get knock back to where they are this morning. but, tech in ily, guys, yes, perception is reality, feels colder, this is still above average for the standards of this time of morning. 38 degrees with modest winds,
6:34 am
still somewhat noticeable, still out there, but it is less than it was yesterday. and as it continues to taper off, high pressure really anchors itself overhead, we're in for wall-to-wall sunshine here, and beautiful day. low, mid, upper's, head toward the lunch hour, and you know not the worse idea if maybe do you have to work today. take a walk on the lunch break. you'll ' have full sunshine to do so, whole day itself really does look phenominal for the standards. 50 degrees in july doesn't sounds so nice, but for late december this is good stuff. we take you through the next couple every days here with area headlines. big story for now just nice. i love brink ago forecast like this specially on friday. monday, new cold front, and behind it the winter chill set to return. so we will talk about what that means for temperatures little later in the show. >> thank you so much, good morning, everyone, right now, you know, i have great news as well. i feel pretty luck bye that. definitely something to be greatful for. because usually this time on a
