news right now. rescue crews have recovered several bodies, believed to be passengers, from missing airasia flight 8501. the discovery came after pieces of red, white and black debris were spotted this morning, in the java sea near bornio island. airasia flights are red and white. rescue officials say they've taken six bod toys a navy ship. none had life jackets on. the plane with 162 people on board vanished from radar two days ago while traveling from indonesia to sing a poor. -- singapore. >> back home philadelphia police are finding clues into what caused a fatal crash in nicetown. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo on the scene for to you tell you more. jan? >> reporter: ukee, police still investigate the cause of this crash. but they do tell us they do believe that alcohol and speed may have been factors in the deadly accident. definitely was a terrible scene here in nicetown, over night, this accident has left one person dead and three others in the hospital, including a pregnant woman

and that's where the car ended up this morning, after coming off the roberts avenue ramp. it is authorities see right now, but the car went down a 20-foot embankment. if you take a look at the video, you can she it looked like last night. that horn still sounding after the car was crushed. now, police responded to the one car accident just after 10:30 monday night. they say this car was traveling north on route one. took the northbound robert avenue exit, then struck and broke a telephone pole, and kept going until the car dropped off that 20-foot embankment. a 23 year old woman was killed. police say she was driving. a 24 year old man in the front passenger seat was severely injured, and taken to einstein in critical condition. meantime, a man and woman both 24 years old, in the back seat, were taken to temple in stable condition, and they're expected to be okay. police remained on scene for hours, collecting evidence and say they do have an idea whatever caused this crashment take a listen. >> they did finds some alcohol in the vehicle. so they do believe that speed

>> breaking news in the airasia flight 8501, debris and bodies have been found, in the java cbsphilly.com near where the plane was in contact with authorities. no sign of survivors. also, a deadly accident in nicetown early this morning. a 23 year old woman was killed, in that crash near wissahickon, and roberts avenues in nicetown. twenty-four year old man is now in critical condition. two other people were also injured. >> and a car crash on route 309 near toll gate road closed the highway in rich lands township bucks county earlier this morning. there is no word on injuries right now, and route 309 by the way is still closed, we understand, in both directions. soldiers, standing guard outside britain's royal palaces are now behind metal fences, because of fears of a

viewers. we will take you around the board here starting things off little further north up toward the pocono region, sending in 25 years from sailors berg. pretty modest winds flow, coming out of the north wells for him. generally some clouds out there, this morning. let's take you little further south, to 31 degrees, meant by matthew, actually in conshohocken, 31 as we mention, just few clouds, generally that's what you are finding, just few clouds in most locations. we'll show you one more, take it as far inland as we can find the observations this morning, michael sending in from mount gretna 28 degrees, he too had some clouds, and his comment man i'm with you cold cloudy, dreaming about summer. i'm so with you. because now holidays are almost over. all you have got is a few months of cold until the warmth arrives right? ahh. dreaming about it. let's take you out next to see in terms whatever we found so far with the snow cover, it is really not been heck of a lot. what we will show you here is the actual amount of snow that we found, so far for the month of december. and what is typical.

now, these blue contours, show you where we do have little hint of snow cover over top of the ground surface. but, generally speaking, we are just below average. almost across the board here for the northern tier of the us. even in greenbay, wisconsin only three and a half inches so far. normally they would have over a foot on the grounds at this point. boston normally 9 inches. only had .3 of an inch. so the list goes on, where it is just been too mild frankly for any storms to bring much in the way of snow. because we certainly had storms, but all been rainmakers for the most part. storm scan3 also showing too, what we call disturbances, little hint of lake effect snow, not messing with us, also what's left of the strung out frontal boundery not messing with us, other than to sandwich us in with some cloud cover. eventually that's going to break though. we ends with some sun the chill is here, obviously here to stay. not one day of the next three climbs out of the 30's, we do start to see modest rebound on the thermometer by the weekends, but along with that i always say there is a trade off. new storm comes in as early as

p.m. hours of saturday, see rain once again jess, over to you. >> 5:44, we start things off outside now on 95, around girard, everything moving along great. the north and southbound lanes, in or out of the city you should have no problem doing so so far for this morning. now, out in new jersey, on the 42 freeway, the northbound lanes here, this is where we tends to see some volume little later in our morning commute. you can see right now everything moving along great. headed toward philadelphia, possibly headed toward the 295 interchange. no problem in the southbound lanes, as well. do have road closures in rich lands, 309 in both directions, between toll gate road and station road, for the time being, take old bethlehem pike to get on by. we do have police activity on jasper drive near lower state road. just watch out for. that will use some caution when traveling on through. otherwise out on the schuylkill expressway, no problems westbound from the vine street expressway into the blue route about 14 minute trip. 202 from route 30 into the schuylkill northbound no problems there either. that's pretty clear with about 12 minutes. we do not want you to forget because when you're on the
