"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo joins us now at the scene with the latest information. jan, good morning. >> reporter: erika, good morning. the cause of this crash is still under investigation. but police tell us they do believe that speed and alcohol are factors here. now, this accident happened right behind me here in nicetown, it was a terrible scene overnight. that car ended up near those orange cones with one person dead and three others injured. >> it is the result after deadly accident in nicetown. a car at the bottom of a 20-foot embankment, horns still sounding despite the damage. one woman, the driver, was killed and three of her passengers including pregnant woman, were injured. after their car left the roberts avenue exit. >> struck a telephone pole, breaking it, and then ran into an embankment where the vehicle actually dropped off of a 20-foot embankment. >> police say the one car accident happened just after

10:30 monday night. the group was traveling north on route one and took the northbound exit when police say the 23 year old driver lost control. she was pronounced dead on scene. a 24 year old man in the front passenger seat was severely injured and taken and two take never stable. police spent hours collecting evidence trying to figure out what caused the crash. >> they did finds some alcohol in the vehicle. so they do believe speed and alcohol possibly contributed to the this accident. >> now, that 24 year old pregnant woman again was sitting in the back seat and taken to the hospital in stage condition. she is expected to be okay. she was actually outside of the car and walking around, when medics arrived. meantime again the cause is under investigation all of the roads in the area have been

a few minute. right now police trying to track down serial robber who targeted seven hotels in southwest philly in tinicum township. surveillance video shows he does not just rob the register. police say he also takes cash and valuables from employees and customers. although he covers his face, the robber has been spotted more than once, in a bright yellow vest, with the letters pwd. >> a flight returns to philadelphia international airport, for an emergency landing, just moments after take-off. one of the passengers shared this video with "eyewitness news", showing flames shooting from one of those engines. the us airways express flight was on it way to manchester, new hampshire yesterday. when the pilot turned around, and landed safely back in philadelphia. >> suddenly large bang, bang, and flames shot by my window and about 52nd later same thing, boom. flames shot by my window. at this point, like people on

>> social media all a buzz after a driver in new jersey catches a meteor streaking across the sky. keep a part on the right part of your screen to see it, bright little spot right there. pete check spotted the fireball last night while driving on i287 in morris county. the american meteor society recorded more than 400 reports of meteors across the northeast just last night. so keep an eye on the skies when out at night. >> 6:23, let's get our forecast, colds out there looking for meteors. >> certainly chilly out there definitely, erika. we do have more clouds than anything, rolling on through our area. as we sit sort of between two separate little very minor disturbances, one visible at the more local level here on storm scan3 but don't worry about anything in the way of precipitation i continue to check in with eyewitness weather watchers. no one finding anything other than clouds.

passengers for a meeting. they didn't have good news. the head of indonesian search and rescue says its 95% likely debris spotted off the coast of borneo from air asian flight airasia flight 8501 believed to have run into storms from the java sea. >> the airplane should be in the immediate area. >> so sitings every debris we had yesterday which were a thousand miles away. >> this sounds as though this may be the aircraft. >> those initial sitings by search teams included an oil slick, objects in the water and smoke coming from island near indonesia. but none of them led to the plane. tuesday, crews spotted some other debris in several locations within the search zone. authorities started investigating the photographs looking into a patch of debris, and trying to determine if it indicated flight qz8051 that crashed and sang. as to what happened to the

"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo on the scene right now to tell you more. jan, good morning. >> ukee, good morning, an absolutely terrible scene here in nicetown, over night as you mentioned deadly accident killing one person, and seriously injuring another person, and sending another two people to the hospital. so three people in total injured, and one person dead, that car ended up behind me here in nicetown by those

orange cones little hard to see this morning. but the car came off the roberts avenue ramp, ended upgoing down 20-foot embankment. if you take look at the video you can see the scene as it unfolded earlier this morning. that horn, you could hear, also still sounding, after the car was crushed. police responded to the one car accident just after 10:30 monday night. they say this car was traveling north on route one took the northbound roberts avenue exit, then struck and broke a telephone pole, and then kept ongoing until the car dropped off a 20-foot embankment. a 23 year old woman was killed, police say she was driving, a 24 year old man in the front passenger seat with severely injured taken to einstein in critical condition. meantime, man and woman both 24 years old, in the back seat, were taken to temple in stable. they're expected to be okay. police remained on the scene for hours, checking evidence, and say they do have an idea about what caused this crash. take a listen. >> they did find some alcohol

enhanced areas but at jack frost big boulder it is allman made snow that we're finding out there as we start things off with spotlight view. and certainly, with some colder air in place, i have a feeling they're going to be making their own snow here, just enjoying the chance to get that in. because we are not expecting any of nature-made snow any time soon. getting a loft questions about that on facebook and twitter lately. guys, just doesn't look like the near term will offer that up for us. but the chill certainly starting to set until. now on storm scan3 yes, you have got little hint every moisture out there. we put just the loop in the last few hours over top of this. you can see the lake effect snowy mentioned moment ago as well as frontal boundery still stalls nearby. but neither of those really mess with us even though it looks like you've got light snow and rain across the southern tear of the delaware valley, it is not actually any precipitation hitting the grounds. currently thousand feels, more like the 20's, almost in every location, but as we just showed you in the poconos, it is certainly cold enough up there, it is feeling more like it is down into the lower teens, but do have generally clear sky the further north
