crime one that happened in that parking garage an alleged sexual assault. he did face a judge today and now he is being held on no bail. on callowhill street, some relief now that this man steven woodson is behind bars. just before 11:00 a.m. new years day police say three two-year old woodson attacked a woman moments after she stepped off the elevator on to the second level of this parking garage at 17th and callowhill. police say she was first approached from behind and then she was. >> beaten, choked and then drug between two parked cars during which time he demanded money, demanded her cell phone and he demanded her to remove her clothing. >> reporter: soon after rick tim said she was knock unconscious and awoke to realize she had been raped, and then was choke so violently she blacked out. after regaining consciousness she broke away to a couple who were looking for a parking space and found that woman inside in need this victim

live outside on the sky deck with what we can expect and when kathy. >> it is pretty comfortable on the sky deck but as lie ahead and up i sigh high clouds streaming a ahead of this storm. warm front will be approaching but that warm air will ride over cold air in place and that means an icy mix for some. lets take a look at what to expect with this particular storm. we have a winter weather advisory in effect for poconos and that is for sleet and also for freezing rain and there will be a ice a accumulation, during the day tomorrow. so carbon and monroe counties we are talking about a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation possible and on those untreated roads it will be trick toy travel. so please ab wear of that. in the lehigh valley and also in northern and western suburbs will see a icy mix. here's the storm brewing to the south. doesn't look like much right now, pretty the scattered and broken up but it is bringing icy conditions and problems to parts of the western texas. the here's the future weather tomorrow morning we're not going to have any issues.

him, not because of a road or because of anything else. >> reporter: police public safety director fred harring didn't hold back talking about the death of 16 year-old man net z eka and his alleged involvement. >> he went through that school bus whatever the reason is, he went through and disobeyed school bus directions. >> reporter: police say just after 6:30 in the morning on september 17th z eka was crossing the the street to get on her school bus. police say shelley driving this ford broncho ignored the bus stop arm and light signals. detective say they are investigating the possibility of distracted driving. >> if he obeyed the rules of the road that morning and stopped at that school bus, this young girl would have had a great christmas hopefully and we would not be having a press conference this morning. >> reporter: meeting with judge leonard brown friday afternoon lasted ten minutes. shelley's attorney stan lack did the talking for his client. >> he feels terrible about the whole situation and that is a all i can say about it at this point. >> reporter: after the hearing detectives brought a shackled shelley out of the courthouse and put him in the suv.

he went to jail immediately. other charges including inn volume will try manslaughter and four counts of recklessly endangering another person and also some other traffic offenses, again, he is behind bars, his attorney says he dos not expect him to get out. he expects to have a bail reductions hearing next week. we will have more at 6:00. live from bensalem david spun t for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". dramatic surveillance video from an armed robbery in germantown. police are looking for two men that you see in this video as they rush in the food in market in germantown and then emptied the register at gunpoint. police say that the clerk was able to lock herself in the back room and was in the hurt. if you think you recognize those two men you are asked to call police. tonight health officials are warning about more cases of hepatitis a in hamilton township mercer county. two cases, new cases, have been reported since new years eve. >> reporter: public health officials say hepatitis a which is the infection at hand here, is a non-fatal infection and that those who contract it recover 99.9 percent of the time, with that said, its symptoms can be quite severe. the first new case involves a five three-year old woman who works at this hair salon in hamilton township. he she first went to the hospital new years eve and blood tests confirmed the infection. woman's clients have been notified as there is a risk of transmission. >> certainly person to person contact with that woman's individual clients. >> reporter: second case involves a woman that works at this social services building in mercer county. her infection was confirmed new years day. that made those who used the building a little nervous. >> i would not have gone but i know that but i have to go for my children. >> reporter: woman works part-time as a group fitness instructor at two gyms one in lawrence township and other at ymca in hamilton. >> we have pretty much an around the clock crew and it is constantly cleaning the building.

there for the the snow borders and skiers. there is good news, there is a lot of cold air coming. the bad news for ski resorts is we have some warm air this weekend and some rain, that will create some icy concerns especially in the mountains where we have a winter weather advisory in effect for tomorrow for icy conditions. right now in philadelphia the temperature is 42, the the poconos 30 degrees, 38 in reading. allentown 36. thirty-nine in millville and wildwood. thirty-nine as well. we have some cold air through central part of the country. dallas is only 39 degrees. houston is 53. a huge differential from north to south and they are not that far away. west in abilene three, 2 degrees, right on the borderline and that is where the center of our approaching storm is right here. you can see that small comma, some sleet, some freezing rain, some snow in western part of texas and that is moving toward the northeast. here's area of low pressure as it continues to lift north and east all this warm air will lift up with it.

it will ride up and over the cold air of the surface over the delaware valley. we call that over running. that warm air has to make it from the higher levels of the atmosphere to the lower and that will create some issues, icy concerns. we will start off as a icy mix to the north ape west of philadelphia, towards lehigh valley and that all changes over to rain by two or 3:00 o'clock. we will see rain heavy at times at day afternoon into saturday night and even sunday morning we are seeing pockets of heavy rain, front finally moves through sunday and then look what happens in the wake. some colder air producing some snow showers lake effect snows, for erie and even buffalo, new york. here's the rainfall, as we begin tomorrow morning and through sunday we're talking about a inch where we average computer models through late sunday. as far as timing is concerned between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. the rain will be moving in. this is much earlier then our earlier models predicted earlier this week. rain moves in from west to

family laid to rest ten year-old matthew mccloskey, he died sunday after being struck by a police cruiser crossing delsea drive-in franklinville. >> the whole town was shook up, i mean from police officer, on routine, you know the family little boy going to the sleep over. it is just sad. >> reporter: hundreds attended our lady of peace par niche williamstown, some of matthew's football teammates wore their jackets and brought him a farewell gift. >> they brought him a football and they put it in the casket. there is some baseball jersey from his his baseball teams and, you know it was very hard to see that. >> reporter: officers from franklin township police also paid their respects, officer nicholas, who was behind the wheel of the patrol carries on administrative leave as investigation in the crash continues. >> we have been trying to help the family along. it has been difficult for matt's family. it is just hour by hour just trying to get through the next hour. >> reporter: franklin township police chief michael rock

search for plane's wreckage and rest of those victims, strong wind and heavy seas are forecast through sunday. man who shot president ronald reagan and three others in 1918 will not face any new charges in the death of reagan's former press secretary james brady. brady died over the summer and authorities ruled his death a homicide caused by the shooting more than 30 years ago. man man who shot him john hinkley has spent most of that time in a psychiatric ward after he was found not guilty by reason of insanity. jury selection starts rather in the boston marathon bombing trial starts on monday, and federal judge rejected the defense request today to move jury selection out of state. the the defense is appealing that decision. suspect dzhokhar tsarnaev has pleaded not guilty to 30 charges connected to the april 2013 bombing and in which three people died and 260 were wounded. one of the women who was injured in the boston marathon bombing has taken a big step forward in her recovery.
