ukee and erika. even when a jersey seated, this is expected to be a lengthy trial it will go on for several month proof of that, can be seen, in the potential witness list, which is about 700 names long. >> twelve jurors, and six alternate, will soon be chosen to determine the fate of the surviving suspect in the boston marathon bombing. the process of choosing jurors from a pole of more than a thousand people could take weeks. the trial that will follow will certainly open old wounds for bombing survivors including heather abbott. >> certain it will bring up a lot of what happened, obviously, two years ago a lot of emotion. >> two pressure cookers packed with nails, ball bearings, exploded near the marathon finish line in the april 2013 attack. killing three people, and injuring 260 other. prosecutors allege 21 year old dzhokhar tsarnaev and his brother, 26 year old tamerlan tsarnaev planned and carried out the twin bolling in

retaliation. defense attorneys for dzhokhar tsarnaev had tried to delay and move the case from boston claiming their client could not get a fair trial here. they'll now focus their defense on the relationship between the brother. >> what this defense wants to show whether or not this was a young man who was influenced and under the influence of his older brother who was the mastermind. >> to dzhokhar to face the don't pent tig. will be shown video shows him placing one. bombs next to the attack's youngest victim. >> reporter: as we mentioned earlier, security is already high here in and around the federal courthouse in south boston, even the media is being kept about a block a which from the building this morning. ukee erika back to you. >> don, we will get back to you, thank you. also happening today the manna cured until the deadly ambush on two pennsylvania state propers has his day in

court. eric frein scheduled for a preliminary hearing in pike county. he is charged with killing corporate brian dixon and wounding trooper alex douglas. frein met up with police on 48 day manhunt before that ambush. >> talking about snow, katie it is coming? >> it is on the way. actually little out there today, but it is actually lake enhanced and by tomorrow there will be a clipper that moves through. now, what you are finds interesting right now on storm scan3, that's the furthest east you'll find any that far snow moving in here. but, eventually, we jump you to future weather at 10:00 p.m. tonight, we clear out, colder, then look out to chicago, that is where the next system is originating from. it is an alberta clipper. so it officially originating alberta, canada. it will produce enough cold air to help bring in some light snow. and that's what clippers are best known for light snow, and reinforcements of cold. so by tomorrow, that's what we will be facing. for now just chilly. we expect the temperatures

13 miles per hour. it is definitely feeling awfully chill which gusts up to 16, feels like 29 degrees, he thinks it feels colder. perception is reality, am i right? we take to you storm scan, got to show you what's going on here. essentially what we've got down the pike here as i like to say so here is lake effect snow. snow is snow, right? but come coming in for different reasons. the clipper we're tracking all the way out over canada and montana right now but it is going to zip across the us, by about this same time tomorrow, the clouds are here, and we're eventually starting to see little bit of snow. at least advancing, i would say, generally starts to pick up in our area late morning toward the end of the typical morning rush. but, in total throughout the course of the day just coating to inch. locally some spots may pick up as much as two i think the best shot for that will be generally through the western suburbs, on inland, that's where you will have at least little more moisture to work with. let's go next to our eyewitness weather seven day forecast, look at what that clipper system does to the cold t really reinforce it is
