4:44 am
and that same system going to affect us today katie. >> oh, yes we are looking generally at one to 2 inches, you know, wipe our hand clean of it by this evening. >> oh, okay. >> so this thing is fast, classic clipper t moves quickliment doesn't have a ton of moisture by the time it reaches us, but will reinforce the combed. that's something that's not going to zip right out of herement looks like that's not only go to to stick around for few days but stay for the weekend. no major storms coming our way, guys. like this; you know it, could be worse. we can handle the chill. that's something we have going for us here, looking for the bright side. hey, a loft you love the snow. you have been looking forward to this. here you go. you know out on silver platter for you. how does this sounds? nothing but snow. absolutely cold enough you are not going to see any mixing this time, it is straight up snow and just purple to find on storm scan here throughout the day today. already, the leading edge appears that it is here, right? you know, look can be deceiving on radar, we really are thinking that you're generally not going to start
4:45 am
things actually start to get underway with real flakes falling from the sky and hitting the ground until probably another hour or so give or take. but obviously it is moving in, essentially, from southwest to northeast here, so you will see it little soon nerve some spots as opposed to others. new jersey basically gets in on it the last, but specially through central new jersey, meanwhile this is it, that's it, just little clipper system, sipping right on through here, and it is going to be certainly with us long enough, and have enough cold air to produce a quick inch or two, but look at this, even by 8:00 a.m., still just rolling in on future weather the time we hit 1:00 o'clock, beginning to diminish, and then basically done, even as the evening rush is starting to wrap up, it looks as though the snow is pretty much doing the same. so not here very long, now tomorrow the wind shift more northwesterly, that means we could actually see wind driven snow shower or two. i don't think that you have to worry about much if any accumulation out of that. so more to add to the wintery
4:46 am
atmosphere we'll say. snow amounts meanwhile one 2 inches. we can handle that. thankfully because we don't have to deal with any mixing the road crews have already salted those roadways. light snow cloudy, cold today, your high hits 29. twenty-one tonight under partly cloudy sky and it will stay cold. as i mention, that cold getting reinforced, and you got to factor in the wind both tomorrow thursday, and friday, and that will of course mean it feels a lot colder, than the thermometer will officially read. ukee, back to ever to you. >> thank you katie n sports, the sixers knock their first home win of the year taking advantage of shorthanded cavaliers team. the cavs were without labron jail, irving, few other caught up in a trade including local star dion waiters but big fellow kevin love put in 28 for the visitors. sixers hung tough, basket and traffic gave the sixers a lead with less than 102nd left. love the way the guy goes through the square. loving t they hung onto beat the cavs in south philly 95 to the two -- 92.

4:55 am
it is all courtesy of clipper system that's currently really just bearing down on us, essentially, but for now just clouds. those clouds have certainly thickened, in advance of this very swift storm system, that's moving through 20 degrees the current temperature here outside palmyra cove nature park, so absolutely cold enough everywhere, even right along the river bed for to you see snow. and that's well represented on storm scan. no mixing this time. just cold everywhere. but once this actually rolls through, it will be picking up over the course of the next hour or two give or take depending on your location, looking at light fluffy variety of snow. not the best to make a snowball, but could lead to slick travel very easily specially at the onset. we'll also reduce your visibility especially for the tail end of your typical morning rush. now, that snow is actually going to be tapering already we hit the early afternoon. what did i tell you? fast mover classic clipper system there but what it does is really re inch fors the cold. so, a very vicious windchill expected here, both tomorrow and thursday, despite more
